Jun16-2009--The army which has never really gone after teh mehsuds after the airforce gunned down mullah nek mohammed who headed a milder version of the taleban and was killed after musharaf refused to accept the corp commanders agreement with him...baitullah mehsud who the army chief says is involved in all terrorism in pakistan is reportedly least worried about teh pakistan army...many wonder why...? he has a running feud with apparently two taleban leaders turkestan bhittani and qari zainuddin one a afghan veteran and another who runs his own group...teh army apart from earlier being embarassed in teh south and north waziristan areas has been running around after everyone else but teh taleban boss...technically he has been replaced as leader by ahmedi abdullah and recent attacks seem to have been ordered by hussein mehsud from orakzai......early on in teh conflict teh mehsuds captured several forts and gunned down a helicopter carrying many officers...as teh conflict eased in teh waziristan areas it flared up in every other area as teh army avoided going after teh taleban command group...The armies new policy will be to target areas like makeen after every suicide attack...whether they will mount a real ground offensive is yet to be seen...the other emerging reality is teh willingness of teh behind teh scenes airforce to go after the taleban...that has helped teh army in swat and that is teh only weapon they have against the mehsud control group...many think the army/airforce will go after all centers that they can indentify in mateen and than mount a ground offensive...the mehsuds are escaping and teh army should monitor hi profile escapees many suggest...the military seems to be hedging its bets by trying to create emerging centers of power opposed to baitullah and opening teh wana-tank road bypassing the mehsud areas...the military is also seeking to get cooperation from other pro government commanders such as maulvi nazir and gul bahadur...

Jun16-2009--The army and airforce involved in anti taleban operations apparently to get two salaries a month says teh army chief ...that surprises many who see teh army as a perk infested rich mans playfield...with literally Rs.400 billion to spend teh army has literally started to control many areas of commerce in pakistan and most top army officers are literally billionaires like musharaf who is now playing teh playboy in england from his ill gotten wealth...?

Jun16-2009--many hope that zardari has the guts and intellect to talk straight to manmohan about its involvement in teh problems in the region...upto now the playboy turned politician has not said much in real terms on relations with india barring the simplistic that they want good relations with almost teh only enemy in teh world for pakistan...talking meaninglessly to india is not worth while many say...

Jun16-2009--The army moved closer to a conflict with the mehsuds by clearing the janikhel area in FR Bannu...rockets fired by militants and an exchange of fire took place..military killed a possible suicide bomber when he refused to stop his car in bannu

Jun16-2009--lashkar kills four militants in upper dir as they move towards kandao their last bastion in the area..

Jun16-2009--In maidan lower dir militants attacked killing two security men and losing nine of their own...

Jun16-2009--military continues clearing operation in mohmand killing three militants...

Jun16-2009--PMLq ridicules PMLn year in power in which they could hardly do anything...many wonder whether tanvir kaira has siphoned all teh funds for his personal use...? projects questioned include how many tractors they distributed...where 160 billion was spent...how many cheap houses were constructed...how many widows loans were written off...where are teh airconditioned buses for students...where they are producing 350MW of electricity...many think the center didnt give anything to the punjab this year...yusuf raza ate it all they say...?in rawalpindi there was no provincial spending at all they say...!
