Oct11-2009--In a gathering spate of attacks upto ten gunmen attacked a gate at rawalpindis GHQ killing six armymen..four attackers killed while remaining were holding hostages at a security building...two arrested...suspicions swirled around as to teh motivations and timing...many gossiped that asif zardari was the ppp al qaeda chief and teh attack could easily have come from teh PPP, indians or taleban...teh attack came teh day after teh army chief conveyed teh corp commanders views on teh suspicious looking Kerry Lugar Bill amid open presidential criticisms of teh armies renewed activism......also the army prepared to restart its operations in waziristan and mopup in khyber and swat..teh taleban leadership maybe in orakzai and that too could be a target if things continue to worsen...Oct10-2009--in mild humour many have protested that asifa bhutto is not teh first pakistani child vaccinated against polio as the ministry of postal services contends in an ad...Oct10-2009--The LHC puts off elections in relatively mild constituencies raising suspicions that teh reasons for the postponement was indecision in teh PMLn...The PMLn seems to lack decisive power without teh active participation of nawaz sharif who at times seems tobe going into retirement...Oct10-2009--Bomb blast in peshawar market kills 48 raising suspicions of indian involvement in terrorism in pakistanOct10-2009--In ongoing political turmoil at the dictatorial attitudes of teh top PPP leaders who seemed tobe unaware of what teh Kerry Lugar bill was all about...with zardari and his ambassador accused of trying to get suspicious certification clauses inserted and almost refusing to listen to reason on teh issue...the sense that zardari does not regard teh pakistan army as dependable has caused concern...yusuf raza as usual playing on teh sidelines as if he is just there for teh show...americans as usual showed that they had no sense of the feelings of the people and the politicians in pakistan with Kerry suggesting that certification does not mean oversight and that there are no clauses to check promotions and appointments of army chiefs...even though teh subordination of the defence system to teh political process means that such things would be noticed...pakistanis would prefer that teh the pakistan army serve pakistani interests alone...the armed forces have promoted wrong peopel with suspicious motives before and those have always turned out tobe serving american interests...Oct10-2009--The US govt will be asked by the dubious natured PPP regime to remove strings attached to teh Kerry Lugar bill...teh country cannot again relive teh past of stopped deliveries and banning of military spares and supplies...The PPP critisized teh military for their open condemnation of teh bills clauses while themselves not having taken them on board or convened any military civil consultation...Yusuf Raza had earlier given complete control of national security handling to teh armed forces...The PPP seems tobe forgetting that it must at least consult the party, national assembly, major opposition figures and teh army in such mattersOct10-2009--In what must be termed a horrendous decision and thoroughly undeserved the Swedish nobel committe awarded teh nobel peace price to obama...Obama has not shown any inclination toward any peaceful overtures anywhere yet and has continued bush policies in most war zones around teh worldOct10-2009--Rehman malik says that peace in peshawar will be restored after mangal bagh areas are cleared and said that an offensive would be launched in teh main taleban areas soon...Oct10-2009--SC changes its Nov3 judgement to include SC judges who took oath under teh PCO...Teh government has already appointed a PCO judge to teh Gilgit baltistan appellate court...sindhi type names can get appointments faster in this regime which is almost sindhi racist in orientation...Oct10-2009--papers about teh french engineers blast in karachi are tobe declassified which might show that sindhi politicians involved in graft on foreign military deals might be involved...Oct10-2009--24 british and six US trainers to train FC in a balochistan camp to fight talebanOct10-2009--taleban positions in darra adamkhel bombed killing tenOct10-2009--six militants killed in swat clashes..Oct10-2009--10 nato vehicles set on fire on the peshawar ring road
