• Jan9-2010--The last year ended on Benazirs or Zardaris $60 swiss millions with nawaz sharif saying that his intention was simply to have it returned to pakistan...? Other reports emerging from various sources suggest that altaf hussein amongst others also asked rehman malik for his hissa(share) and rehman malik responded that despite it being benazirs money they have already distributed it amongst themselves with Bilawal getting just $2 millions...? Other reports suggest that the army chief suggested to Zardari that teh remaining money be considered his and that is where the problem is at the moment...yusuf raza who has apparently been dividing the loot has been asked to send kiyanis share....?

• Jan9-2010--US senators suggest convoluted unrealistic reasons for drone attacks...no tribal has yet been able to infiltrate the USA and since most attacks in afghanistan are carried out by afghans their reasoning seems hollow...the increase of security operations to fourteen other countries after one minor incident suggests that the americans are just barking up trees that they can climb upon...
  
• Jan9-2010--US says it is using only the shamsi airbase in balochistan after google earth pictures showed three drones parked there in 2006...it would be difficult to launch drone attacks from balochistan and control them from afghanistan...there have been other reports of drones flying over other areas in north pakistan from islamabad and tarbela
  
• Jan9-2010--US looking for a stepping stone into pakistans internal politics with Holbrooke suggesting that they could help matters with teh army, nawaz sharif, electricity problems and even water issues...many suggest that US has not been very effective or helpful in the past with military regimes and military supplies etc. and pakistan could end up under yet another military regime if we went down that road again...
