• Feb4-2010--The foreign office says that pakistan has realized that there is no point in just meaningless never ending directionless talking to the indians and will insist on the composite dialogue...india seems to desire only teh speeding up of teh bombay attacks cases which have floundered as teh pakistanis are unaware of any real evidence and have not even talked to ajmal qasab the man in indian custody...knowing india's negative attitude and its supposed sponsoring of terrorism in pakistan on a continuous basis... pakistan realizes that the indians dont want normalization and solutions as was apparent in their animosity prone IPL attitude towards the money oriented pakistani cricketers who always thought the indians were different and friendly to the generally anti pakistan indian government stereotype..the pakistanis should only focus on kashmir and water flows in the jhelum and chenab that are rivers given to pakistan ie issues that really effect pakistan
  
• Feb4-2010--a suicide bomber rammed into an FC convoy near Koto, lower dir killing eight including three american soldiers, four schoolgirls and a para military...taleban claim that the americans belonged to Blackwater/Xe and responsible for blasts in peshawar...americans going to inaugurate a school rebuilt under USAID in the area..lower dir close to afghan border
  
• Feb4-2010--The feuding or feudal natured mqm ended its meaningless one day boycott of the provincial assembly where ministers had been harshly critical of the mqm nature and attitude especially its refusal to allow karachi its freedom from their clutches...many suggest the mqm has agreed to allow a thirty percent share in the karachi local bodies to the pukhtuns, baloch and PPP..the sindh government has been unable to appoint a neutral administrator to run karachi for the next four months todate...the mqm has been adept at upsetting the PPP with periodic shows of intransigence and political violence...while the mqm accused the home minister of orchestrating the Bolton market blasts and saying "pakistan na khapa"...many suggest that like other ethnic groups the mqm is unable to tolerate pakistan even inits name and has been unable to make headway inits attempts to move its politics into punjab with its karachi only agenda....mqm suggesting that the PPP and pukhtuns attempting to occupy karachi...mqm mayor accused of abusing karachiites...many suggest that the mqm mandate is to sit in opposition and that is the only way democracy functions...not by having the opposition inside government.The PPP's sham reconciliation has failed if the sindh home minister cant even arrest ghundas and badmash or terrorists...in theses times whoever u want arrested just label them terrorists..sindh home ministers language little better than a thanedars...
  
• Feb4-2010--Army chief realistically points to the concepts that dominate pakistani defence mechanisms such as the indians continued animosity and their capabilities...many have noted with concern that pakistan allows US drones to attack targets in pakistan which the indians regard as an example for their continuous dreams to forcibly subjugate pakistan to allow india to mount cold start cross border attacks where they could bomb out a place before pakistan is even ready to defend...that is the trouble in pakistan, US and indians views of anti terrorism...pakistan had to scramble to stop indian air invasions into pakistan after the indians wanted to bomb out muridke and muzzafarabad...Kiani seems however unaware that the indian chief was talking about continuous support of terror actions in pakistan that could be disguised as sectarian, terror, ethnic or taleban attacks...pakistan should allow india training of afghan troops and police as pakistan seems incapable of training its own forces..indian covert activities are very similar to talebans apart from involvement in ethnic and seperatist violence

• Feb3-2010--The PPP which has been at best slow in getting local bodies working again rushes of to karachi to keep an unworkable system going as the mqm boycotts assembly after sindh ministers tirades...mqm cannot accept reality...unless people behind the violence are incarcerated whether they be mqm or others nobody can stop the violence in karachi where all sides are pushing for real stakes in the local bodies...sindh ministers at odds with the mohajirised asif zardari's policy of keeping a minority government going at the center
  
• Feb3-2010-- drone attacks in waziristan leave 31 dead as eight drones fire over eighteen missiles at datakhel a village near the afghan border..US going beyond the concept of drone attacks...such large scale attacks on a village can at best be described as a declaration of war
  
• Feb3-2010-- forces advance on damadola a taleban stronghold in bajaur as 18 militants are killed in various areas
  
• Feb3-2010--In a controversial case the SBP informs SC panel that 256 billion written off in forty years for 669000 borrowers... that only Rs11.2 billion was written off from 1971 to 1996 while 202.5 billion written from 22021 borrowers since 1996 for loans above 5 lakhs......loans of less than 500000 written off amounted to 42.8 billion from 646,374 borrowers...just giving such loans amounts to inequality and writing them off just compounds that...it seems upto 1996 governance must have been quite good...or the state sector banking was very efficient?
