• Apr01-2010--Controversial indian army chief replaced with an anti corruption buff...while kapoor kept threatening pakistan with across the border raids...pakistan attempted to move up its defences a notch tobe ready to retaliate..one hopes singh wont threaten covert raids which pakistan has seen plenty of already...
  
• Apr01-2010--In the national assemblies constitutional committee the noora kushti ended with a victory for the chief justice...who insisted on teh swiss cases as well as heading the Judicial appointment committee...the PPP seems to have been thrashed by everyone concerned...the 18th amendment will see more powers to provinces not that they are more dependendable and a new name for the nwfp an area carved out of punjab in the early 1900's..it will now be named khyber pukhtunkhwa...opposition came from the PMLq which wanted it named sooba sarhad or a referendum...there were some who wanted it called afghania but the closeness to afghanistan probably hindered that...most pukhtuns are migrants from across the border and now live all over pakistan...they are known for having set up many villages all over pakistan...The PMLn seemed unable to win something for teh the hindko speaking or hazarites or even get support for the kalabagh dam... ...the people of nwfp started out being called settlers or basti ke pathan or tribals...moved to the word pathan which is historically deemed correct...Than on afghan urgings became pushtuns or pukhtuns...Now we dont know who they are...many joked that they are either khyberis or pukhtunkhwis...one did not see any consensus from the real aggrieved ie hindkos or hazarites...Nawaz Sharif deemed to have sold out in the hopes of a third time primeministership...!

• Apr01-2010--The NAB on SC urgings writes to the swiss to reopen the NRO cases...unless there is a decision by pakistani courts as to specific corrupt activities or money laundering many say the swiss cannot do anything...the previous government had already reached an understanding with SGS-Cotechna...many think that a head of state even if involved cannot be prosecuted against otherwise all countries would start cases against various country leaders...many suggest that with at least a billion already wasted on such cases over a decade the SC chief justice must be ready to pay for any further losses caused to the country in this context as he has given a ruling without reasons or even studying the case...The case revolves more around benazir bhutto and schlegelmiilch a supposed bhutto lawyer who opened the accounts..however benazir and asif zardari both denied owning the accounts although many state that they would have been happy to accrue benefits from the unclaimed accounts...upto twenty-five people are said to think that the accounts should benefit them...
