• May24-2010--government attempting to raise petroleum costs and gas costs to the consumer by additional taxation...it also wants to add an illogical VAT on top of the already heavy sales tax...Illogically they want to add VAT to clothes, shoes, milk , other food products and small bussinesses...unfortunately whoever they tax passes it on to the consumer...the agriculturists are given enormous subsidies thru higher food prices while bussinesses, industrialists and exporters are also subsidized ...that leaves teh consumer as teh only taxpayer in teh country...while their aim is to reduce subsidies they still keep on increasing taxes...the reasoning therefore is not explainable...

• May24-2010--Yusuf raza gilani seems to be either blind or deaf and dumb...as the country swelters under 10 hour load sheddings he seems intent on blinding teh people and suggesting that they are making make believe efforts at ending the power crisis...he gave the example of india where they have a 50000 MW shortfall forgetting that there is almost no load shedding in india... while the IPP's generalized installation cost is $3million per MW he thinks his small RPP setup at a cost of over $6.5 million per MW will solve the problem...while the equally dumb power minister thinks the cost of hydropower is almost teh same as an RPP...The pepco hydropower plant which is coming up has a cost of around a million dollar per MW...at this rate we will still have load shedding six years down the road..

• May22-2010--ICC found no match fixing on australian tour despite pakistan losing each and every match and the one match they were going to win four catches were dropped by kamran akmal and than there ace leg spinner walked off at a critical juncture and like the 20-20 semi final mike hussey scored a big inning to win both matches...clear match fixing...or deliberate indiscipline...if afridis low scores have been caused by indiscipline rather than aggressive play than maybe he should study the difference between inability to play well or being a poor wicketkeeper or an inept batsman or doing this as an act or dubious conduct or deliberate bad behaviour...
  
• May22-2010--Punjab beaurocrats committee questions Dr Musadik former rawalpindi medical college principal about fake housejob certificate issued to his son...politicians and beaurocrats are increasingly using their positions to benefit their families..other health field problems in rawalpindi being checked include an elevator at benazir hospital that does not work and regularisation of doctors who have not worked on contract and doctors with fake mbbs degrees...health system littered with frauds...maybe they should check whether the patients are fake too...in holyfamily hospital millions of bait ul maal funds ripped off...
  
• May22-2010--facebook's blockage shows the mean minded nature of our judiciary..islam has been attacked in various ways through out its history however islam protected a lot of the dissentors including jews...islam will not suffer because of the norris facebook page or insulting caricature or cartoons but when we lose the tolerance for others...everyone else can become bigots but we should avoid that attitude...any way norris has apologized and withdrawn his page which is at least better than the danish and swedish cartoonists...the judiciary is interfering with the ordinary pleasures of millions of pakistanis and that at least is a bigger negative than all the judiciaries blunders put together...anyway protest campaigns should be left to the people and teh government as facebook does not function under pakistani law...there are pro prophet pages on teh facebook too and anti muslims could ask for their removal...it is the judiciary that should be more sensible and mature compared too ordinary politicians and people...

• May20-2010--Musharaf suggests that 210000 fans on the anti islam facebook is enough to frighten the PPP regime from initiating cases against him for the murders he possibly committed and the money he stole...he suggests that his son of india image doesnt bother anyone...and that the PPP wont hand him over to the balochistan government for eliminating Akber Bugti...he says he will come back at the next elections...pro musharaf media campaigners against the government have the government in deep trouble as the recalcitrant judiciary also attempts to cow them down...PPP policies almost irrelevant as they are mostly anti people
  
• May20-2010--The PPP in an attempt to suggest that hafeez sheikh is somehow a peoples representative is going to provide him a senate seat...it is the policies that create the negative impact not the dubious status of teh accused...PPP unable to even suggest an economic policy which might have public approval...

• May20-2010--LHC bans facebook in pakistan till May 31 due to a page starting a draw mohammed contest...In early islam painting images was forbidden as a form of idol worship but it has steadily become acceptable...now only the drawings of the prophet are generally proscribed...variations in thinking amongst shiites and sunnis on the subject..the western world inits opposition to religion and specifically islam has used drawings and caricatures of teh prophet to create political problems while they themselves oppose any form of anti judaism
