- Jun02-2010--In what looks like a dangerous move viz the people and punjab the federal government reaches a dubious seperate agreement with sindh on VAT...Sindh which is used to extortionist attitudes about tax collections and taxes paid by punjabis will cause heavy damage to consumers as literally even small shops will be taxed by them...The government in punjab especially should see with suspicion teh arrangement on tax origin as a punjabi could buy an airticket or pay phone bills in sindh and with many companies having head offices in sindh income taxes and sales taxes collected from punjabis will be taken by sindh as the place where the tax is collected...Punjab should resist teh attitude of taxing consumers indiscriminately and it is the shop keeper who should be taxed rather than the consumer as teh federal governments and provincial governments do nothing for the consumer..abdul hafeez sheikh blamed teh rich people for opposing VAT when it is teh people or consumers who will suffer...the people have no power in this government and the PPP should study its extortionist attitude since teh people and consumers are not going to benefit..

- Jun02-2010-Hafeez sheikh continues meaningless rhetoric on budget making with out any realistic objective...he says the government has no money...on teh other hand a 2.7 trillion budget is being prepared with almost no benefit to the countries populace...one wonders what is teh objective of teh government if it is not to benefit teh countries populace...their development program seems non existent on the last two years experience and one wonders what they want to spend the money on when teh problems in specific areas are not going to be funded...electricity price hikes have proved useless over the last decade and no problem has been solved in teh field but still the precious supposed Phd(fake) wants another hike in electricity prices...an ordinary graduate if not a child could handle such meaningless rhetorical economics...what the PPP wants to bring in outsiders for doing nothing is completely beyond our understanding...
