• Aug07-2010--as the flood waters started to pass thru sindh the guddu and sukkur barrages faced heavy flows as katcha areas and villages in sukkur, ghotki,khanpur,shikarpur, larkana, dadu, kashmore and nawabshah were inundated...relief camp conditions in sindh bad...in south punjab parco,and lalpir power faced flood threats...the rajanpur hill torrents flood moves towards rojhan after devastating jampur..mithan kot also flooded and PSO depot stops functioning..kapco also shutdown and surrounded by water..mahmood kot, kot addu and dairah din panah flooded...in nwfp WFP started to distribute food to kalam and other areas...

• Aug05-2010--In islamabad police say they have killed two terrorists involved in killing KP information ministers son, attacks on three brigadiers in islamabad and attacks on nato convoys...!!!

• Aug05-2010--The two top characters in pakistans government asif zardari and yusuf raza gilani now resemble comedienes or comic characters as they give strange answers to their divisive policies...yusuf raza gilani avoids visiting the flood hit nwfp and asif zardari who has no constitutional responsibilities in the realm of foreign affairs, diplomacy, planning, economic affairs,provincial or federal projects goes off to visit foreign countries..on what are commonly known as junket trips...apparently the supporting cast of jokers include the army chief and the chief justice...there are some niceties in politics that are adhered to by even the worst politicians...when the country is in trouble u dont run off to visit your mafia friends in europe...Gilani finally reached Mianwali and was shown enjoying a boat ride ..!!
  
• Aug05-2010--In a major counterattack the FC commandant safyat ghayur was killed in a suicide attack in peshawar...related to top political families in nwfp he had handled the tough job of clearing out terrorists from the Fata areas...some claim that teh counter assassination could be related to the karachi volence
  
• Aug04-2010--Gilani and shabaz/nawaz involved in intra punjab political accusations as punjab is seen as losing out in a sindhi dominated government at the center...shabaz and qaim ali shah called early for funds for flood relief...The PPP is being seen as feeding only politics to punjab while it evaporates the huge federal budget...gilani seems frightened of visiting flood hit areas and is seen politicking during an emergency of almost catastrophic proportions...earlier asif zardari rushed out of teh country as rains wreaked havoc...many suggest that he ran away to avoid the blame and responsibility
  
• Aug04-2010--pakistan made a reluctant call on india for restraint in occupied kashmir where more than 40 people have been killed by the indians
  
• Aug04-2010--The havoc created by over 54 killings in karachi for whom no mohajir weeps depicts the terror of assassination and counter assassination almost thruout the country...The Mqm, Anp, taleban, sectarianists are emerging as key assassination organizations with many suggesting that there are official organizations involved as well and might be even PPP groups...The mqm retaliated thruout karachi against pukhtuns and there trade burning pushcarts, vehicles and shopsas well as six trucks..The interior minister is many say a failure for not being able to control the generally politically natured violence...unless individuals from all involved organisations are locked up no respite is seen from this situation
  
• Aug04-2010--flood waters enter kot addu town, kot mithan and daira din panah...over 300000 displaced..raiwlay traffic stopped between rawalpindi and multan..DG khan and rajanpur still facing a terrible flood situation
  
• Aug04-2010--Yusuf Raza Gilani apparently attacked by flood affectees when his helicopter visited mianwali...he returned saying he could not land because of bad weather...the weather was apparently fine...saying he made an aerial inspection
  
• Aug04-2010--The PPP regime is sitting on a mountain of cash and so are the provincial governments(and doing nothing with it)...but when it comes time to spend they want people to donate for the flood ravages...with revenues of upto 10 billion a day the government has sufficient funds to deploy in the flood hit areas and yusuf raza gilani must empty his pockets for the troubled populace...the provincial regimes and federal government have enough cash and they should quickly respond to the needs of teh flood hit areas...
  
• Aug04-2010-and with floods,terrorism and ramazan at the peak they increase sugar prices the only ayashi of the poor...the pathetic callousness depicted by the yusuf raza government is proof of the growing sense of aloofness and isolation of teh PPP regime
  
• Aug04-2010--they kill hundreds and nobody is ever arrested...one of the mqm is killed and they kill another 45...unless mqm gives up the policy of violence nobody else is going too...its been going on since 1988 what to talk of the lalu khet bloody riots in the sixties and urdu riots in the seventies...most of the karachi events are said tobe mohajir orchestrated...if somebody is going tobe killed in a public place and nobody knows who did it than there must either be a conspiracy of silence or karachiites have no conscience...add to that the violence on the muharam procession blast and benazirs assassination and we come to the conclusion that karachi is failing as a city as its politicians engage in shootout after shootout...with sectarianism as a side challenge...if it is the mqm that done it than they must have been losing support or the mpa must have joined the PPP...The mqm armed wing is obviously no joking matter and unless the sindh government does something about its coalition partners men in arms or killers than not much is going to change...

• Aug 03-2010--Karachi as usual went into convulsions after the killing of an mqm mpa...over twenty vehicles were set on fire and a number of restaurants and petrol stations...protests in hyderabad and mirpur khas...45 are said tobe killed in random shootings...the violence was mostly directed at pukhtuns against whom the mqm is daggers drawn...mqm blamed the ANP while the interior minister blamed the sectarianists...The mqm has been at war with the pukhtuns from the start of this year...some say the mqm mistakenly killed one of its own...
  
• Aug 03-2010--In one of the most callous displays of any known president of pakistan asif zardari who is otherwise thought of as the first sindhi president with little sympathy for other provinces rushed of on an unnecessary tour of Britain and France...another tour by the ISI chief to britain was cancelled apparently after a rash of phone calls from britain suggesting that he will just get more of our kids killed...!!...many suggest that asif zardari apparently has bad advisors and with the north of the country reeling from floods all the sindhis could think of was small dams which would have been no help at all...asif zardari obviously has little sympathy for the people of the north given his anti people sindh oriented economic policies and many suggested that he was running short of funds and arranged a hasty TA/DA tour as was the habit of our pathetic beaurocracy...one wonders at the brain of such a politician...the PPP ministers frightened of touring nwfp were busy in suggesting that shabaz sharif who visited the occassional flood hit area and nawaz sharif who ventured as far as nowshera just wanted photo ops while they were apparently holding public meetings in sorgodha and doling out funds to lawyers in nankana sahib...one must say that the PPP is coming across as a pathetic organisation...and their policies also reflect that...many suggest that the nwfp floods are gods retaliation against a terrorist province...others suggested that the burden of the deaths in nwfp are on teh sindhis who keep crying about water for which the north has to pay a terrible price
  
• Aug 03-2010--As the pakistani cricket team put on a pathetic display of bad wicketkeeping, pathetic batting and allowing the worst batsman in the england team to score a century the PCB dropped spinner kaneria who bowled drastically and sent in mohd yusuf who batted terribly in australia and raza hasan...many suggested that the batting lineup needed a drastic overhaul and the wicketkeeper definitely has reached the end of his career...he apparently even wore the worst type of wicketkeeping gloves that i have ever seen...pakistan only has one other pukhtun to depend upon as Umar Gul was the only one showing some batting ability...many suggest that with the gutless punjabis reaching the end of a historically long line of good batsmen the country should look for pukhtun batsmen who would at least have teh courage and bravado to do something...
  
• Aug 02-2010--the flood devastation in nwfp is really of disastrous proportions with over 767 dead...bridges, power lines and roads have been washed away...the GT road and motorway were reopened however many areas are still flooded and people stranded all over malakand and swat...the nwfp ADP has been suspended and they say over 300 helicopters and thousands of boats would be needed for a really proper relief operation...thousands of people were displaced and marooned in the punjab areas of mianwali, layyah, taunsa and muzafargarh
  
• Aug 02-2010--15 militants killed in orakzai in continuous military operations
  
• Aug 02-2010--at least eight people killed in continuing ethnic warfare in karachi...unless crooks on all sides are incarcerated no change expected
  
• Aug 02-2010--A 1901 record of 900000 cusecs was broken when 1.034 million cusecs flowed at chashma
  
• Aug 02-2010--There have been 17 air crashes involving pakistani aircraft since 1947
  
• Aug 01-2010--over 3700 houses, 90 roads and at least 45 bridges have been destroyed in nwfp while areas in nowshera, charsadda, malakand, pabbi and swat have been flooded with thousands of people still marooned while a few got airlifted...a few thousands stranded in swat...while hotels, restaurants and houses were destroyed in bahrain, kalam and madian...a lot of construction had been done on the riversides which has been wiped out in some areas...pace of relief slow and relief goods like food and tents not readily available
  
• Aug 01-2010--the government continued to defend the undefendable...a visit to britain and france at a time of national calamity by asif zardari which many say is more of a personal visit at government expense...running away from calamity in nwfp and punjab has been widely condemned in pakistan and asif zardari is seen as irresponsible and terribly insensitive...reports attributed to the army chief suggest that he is shallow and lacks intellect...he is also being seen as unsympathetic to the people of provinces other than sindh and karachi ...others suggest that he wants to get in touch with the french on getting commissions and stuff..many say he was involved in the agosta submarine commissions and terrorism on a hotel and as well as a bus on which agosta engineers were travelling...david camerons comments on pakistans officially supporting terrorism have been widely condemned but not by the countries supposed head of state who utilizes british services for his family and musharaf..David Cameron is being seen as susceptible to indian views and is being seen as terribly misinformed and insensitive on issues...there have been only a few incidences of terrorism in india and the UK while in pakistan it is an almost daily issue...which pakistan sees as indian and afghan supported and inspired at times even having US involvement...the UK is said to turn a blind eye to the terrorism and assassinations organized from London by Altaf Husseins mqm who many say is an MI6/ministry of interior agent...the UK and india were also involved in the tamil insurrection/terrorism in sri lanka with tamil financiers working from london and tamil nadu
