• Mar31-2016--while the pathankot incident seems tobe a joint effort between Nawaz and Modi to harass Masood Azhar...the Pakistani JIT has found no evidence against Masood Azhar while the Indians want his voice samples...many are suspicious how a police officer/vehicle transported the terrorists from the border...apparently Nawaz Shareef has been accused of hiring suspected indian agents at his sugar mill who were picked up by intelligence agencies...Nawaz Shareef has also nothing to say about an indian spy picked up in balochistan...the Indians say the plot was hatched in Bahawalpur while the Pakistanis point to a rural mosque in Sialkot..many have accused Iran of harbouring indian terrorists as indian agencies run things from jewelry shops in charbahar...!
  
• Mar31-2016--In what is typical of Pakistan Police the police blamed all the terrorist events in and around Lahore over the past few years on five terrorists that they supposedly killed in a puls muqabila...The CIA which is supposedly an investigative arm of the police apparently raided a house in an LDA Avenue scheme and found the five terrorists dead after a few hours of gunfire...!among the list of accusations included is a missile attack on the kakul academy, raiding an ahmadi mosque in garhi shahu, cracker attacks on fruit juice outlets , attacks on army officers in Peshawar, gujerat...kidnapping an army chiefs son, suicide attack in model town, kidnapping for ransom in multan and lahore etc...other arms of the police such as the rangers, army and other security organisations arrested over 200 people from various Punjab cities...!
  
• Mar31-2016--Islamabad sitin ends...government backs down on blasphemy and said sentences of blasphemy convicts will be carried out and blasphemy bill will not be amended...foreign funded advocacy programs have been trying to get the blasphemy law repealed...while the government removed some Shiite names from the fourth schedule most clerics names are still included...
  
• Mar30-2016--The lack of knowledge and intelligence is so high in the Punjab that the police arrested over 5000 individuals and kept over 200 in custody...it is almost like being blind...The Punjab government insisted that the army has no real role in the Punjab security setup...they also arrested around 1000 fourth schedulers...most are released when they have no information to provide...This modus operadi has been in effect since british times...many of those arrested are usually under cover intelligence operatives
  
• Mar30-2016--Pakistan army highlights investigations into capture of an indian spy in balochistan who seems tobe involved in some sort of combination with Iranian interests...apparently they had planned an attack on a Gwadar hotel which had sectarian connections...while the Indians have been involved in destabilizing Pakistan over the decades the Pakistani's have not been able to hinder their terrorism given the indians movements thru katchi abadi's and links to local underground terrorists which generally provides sufficient cover to the dark skinned Indians...there have been numerous reports of even senior military officers from the indian army moving in and out of Pakistan...the indian army chief and deputy defence minister have also openly suggested that they retaliate inside pakistan without ever being apprehended...the Pakistan government however is bent upon being friendly to an enemy state
  
• Mar29-2016--In what seems tobe a unilateral move army launches crackdown on what it perceives as terrorists in Punjab...there are no clear demarcations or knowledge of any real taleban concentrations...the attacks therefore will probably be on LJ sympathisers or seminary workers some of whom who are generally listed as possible terrorists by the Punjab police...the Punjab government has not asked the armed forces to take any actions...the Lahore blast was initially seen as an indian attempt to retaliate for pathan kot but later government sources started to put across an anti Christian line...It is generally regarded as a complete failure of the zarb e azb and the PMLn regime...others see it as an anti western attempt given what is happening in the middle east and the west...many now regard the army and the PMLn as flailing away in the dark without any real knowledge of events and information...others suggest that rumours had spread that "Sana has ordered another terrorist attack" a day before...still others regard it as an opposition attempt to derail the PMLn in Punjab given that the suicide bomber comes from Seraiki territory...today's newspapers suggested the jamaat al ahrar considerd remnants of the earlier taleban formations as the perpretrator who said the suicide bomber was called salahuddin khorasani and that they wanted the minorities to pay jizya according to earlier islam injunctions or convert to islam...Nawaz Sharif who has been enjoying foreign tours and government food cancelled a US tour as the US now has no power over any process...he also replaced the attorney general...in other news the Qadri protestors continue their protest at the d-chowk for the third day running while Imran Khan wants to start schools and dispensaries in containers too...what KP does with government money is unknown...stoppage of mobile services for a second whole day seems to have no effect on anything that happens...others suggest that the blast has been caused by the PMLn 's demand for a share of Christian wealth...apparently one PMLn Christian minister has run off with Rs60 million..others suggest that the blast seems similar to two earlier attacks in Lahore on a Christian church and a residential area although how an attack at a park can be related or linked to christians seems difficult apart from the type of casualties...most of the attacks in Lahore seem locally minded rather than having any real taleban terrorist intent
  
• Mar23-2016--while the cost of building roads has steadily risen since the PMLn first starting building the road to Murree when it was high of 26 lakhs per kilometer...in a first the CDA approved for 168million the rebuilding of the IJ principal road...the PC_1 cost was 228million...

• Mar23-2016--Pakistan continues to scrape the dust of their shoes in the T20 world cup as they are literally beaten by New Zealand...again while having the batting power they donot play a key player in mohd hafeez...while the second ranked bowlers in mohd sami and imad wasim performed better the top ranked Amir, Irfan and Afridi were abysmal...Afridi who many thought should have retired before is now almost sure to get the boot ...younger players were left behind preferring the more experienced who did not live up to expectations...khalid latif is an experienced hitter but lasted just one ball...sarfraz should have been preferred at three to keep the scoreboard moving...sharjeel played aggressively on the on side but perished on the second or third ball outside his off stump...when u cannot play outside the off one must position oneself outside the off stump...while Haroon Rashid did not prefer younger talent the captain and coach should get kicked off the team...
  
• Mar23-2016--Blasts rip thru Brussels the Nato Headquarters killing 35...claimed by the IS...a suicide bomber who backed out but was involved in the paris blasts claimed after recently being arrested that he was planning several terrorist attacks there...while Belgium is one of the newer countries having irritated the Islamic terrorists the planning seems tobe based on individually led groups...Nato has been involved in troubles in almost all Islamic countries...Belgium is not like France ,Britain and the USA directly involved in fighting the IS group
  
• Mar19-2016--someone like qaim ali shah a politician and minister since the seventies says "i cant run a cadet college in gadap..." let the corp commander who has nothing todo run it...the corp commander says I too will find it difficult let a major general run it..." a colonel should be enough for a cadet college or a cadet college principal...!

• Mar18-2016--In one of the biggest about turns of the Nawaz Sharif regime the interior minister said that they had no objection to musharaf leaving the country after the SC also turned into a tame lamb ...many suggest that the decision was made to facilitate the military or General Raheel Shareef who has been at odds with the government over the issue...only the lal masjid objected and filed a request in a lower court not to allow musharaf to escape...that only left the redundant three man treason court which is at the moment not functioning after one of its judges was elevated...!It makes clear the duality in the views of Nawaz Sharif, the military as well as the SC... all three seem tobe supporting a sort of martial law scenario...it is the general view that musharaf has fooled the courts as well as the medical community and the armed forces leadership whose honesty and judgements are now questionable...many have always questioned the nature of the Musharaf-Nawaz Sarif and the Musharaf-Imran khan relationship as dubious while the PPP leaders had been reported to have direct contacts with musharaf/maqbool during the martial law era...Musharaf too had allowed Nawaz Sharif to leave for Saudi Arabia alongwith his family and money bags...The SC order is in sharp contrast to the decision on actress Ayyan Ali who can hardly do any damage if allowed to go abroad...!

• Mar1-2016--In what can be called the philosophy of executions which is shared between the terrorists and the regime the government executes Elite Force Commando Mumtaz Qadri who had shot dead controversial PPP governor Salman Taseer five years ago who prior to that was running Imran Khan's Pace International...!Qadri who was a Taseer security guard shot him dead after he came out of a restaurant in Islamabad...!the issue taseer's meeting in jail with a woman accused of blasphemy...Religious groups downplayed the execution to avoid trouble...his funeral tobe held in Liaqat Bagh, Rawalpindi and burial in his village near Bara Kahu...there were low level protests as roads, schools and bazaars were closed...Mumtaz Qadri has thus achieved a mullah hero status which is not easy in this country of strange and abundant thought processes and beliefs...for example the PMLn theory is that women deserve an exalted status but not the prophet...!!!
