• 30-Aug-2016--The sharifs have been money laundering and acquiring suspect finances since the 1960's say the PTI in a plea to the SC to declare the sharifs disqualified to participate in politics

• 30-Aug-2016--The SC dismisses sixteen appeals against about 200 suspended death sentences given by military courts...The SC ruled that the 21st amendment was correct and its suspension of death sentences were at best frivolous since it did not consider the methods, presentation and material dealt with by the military courts in hiding as an affront to the concept of human/fundamental rights...since terrorism has at best been controlled to a very large extent the SC should have allowed appeals to the high courts or the SC and made the material of adjudication available to the defendants...making the army chief who is at best ignorant of fundamental rights or even human rights and not a person who can be appointed the CJ the supreme appellate authority in such cases is thus malafide and unconstitutional..many suggest that the change in the attitude of the court was thru subtle propaganda initiated by the military accusing the top judiciary of involvement in terrorism...some recent events have a bearing on the rumours...
  
• 29-Aug-2016--while the SC was allowing the elimination of terror convicts by the military the lahore police went one better and eliminated four terrorists involved in the attack on the srilanka cricket team and a blast at the moon market...The police should keep such heinous criminals locked up but instead went on a joyride to locate their house of operations...apparently they came under fire and only the four terrorism suspects were eliminated...!!??

• 28-Aug-2016--Mqm has technically divided itself into three...the farook sattar MQM-pakistan, the terrorist london secretariat and the PSP...the Rangers are now referring to the troublemakers as belonging to the terrorist london secretariat...the sindh government has started a move to seal bad mqm offices and over 200 have been either shutdown while 20 have been razed to the ground on the basis of being tajawazat or extending into or occupying property...lawmakers as well as a few women have also been arrested..known as the "the gnome" farook sattar was best known for being lined up with a wall...(apparently tobe shot by security forces)...however the mqm-pakistan is trying to show a divergence of views and has stopped refering to altaf hussein as bhai or quaid...he apparently lost the honor after issuing anti pakistan statements on two occasions and calling for outside aid and intervention from india and the USA......being involved in violence, terror and militancy...anyway farook sattar is one of the original group of leaders that started the troublemaking APMSO and later the MQM with altaf hussein in exile since 1998 and apparently cowardice prone in refusing to return the local mqm has made its attempt to reconcile with the situation and take over the reigns of power...whether they can remain a normal political party without militancy and hit and run attacks is yet tobe seen...obviously the government is not dying to give them extensive local body powers or get into a friendly bear hug...the new situation will obviously take time to evolve into some sort of rational or irrational system...
  
• 27-Aug-2016--Two PTI leaders travelling in a bullet proof car fired upon by two motorcyclists on khaleequzzaman road...the two leaders faisal Vawda and Imran Ismail...many suspect that the two were suspected of rigging the DMC west mayoral elections...!apparently Faisal Vawda owns four bullet proof vehicles..the PTI leaders said that they were attacked for their campaign against corruption , panamagate and even going to england to present proofs against altaf hussein

• 26-Aug-2016--Farook Sattar consolidated his power over Mqm-pakistan by shifting the mqm center to a community center Gaanchi in Pir Ilahi Baksh colony near where he lives...Gaanchi is a community center for the gujerati community of Farook Sattar...arrest of mqm leaders continued while pictures of altaf hussein were being pulled down in karachi and hyderabad...some offices had been buldozed while others were being shut down...nine zero remained sealed...and the mukka chowk had all altaf pictures removed...while a returning officer supposedly illegally cancelled the mqm mayor election in district west...mqm had won district west with 41 votes and the PMLn's ittehad had won 31...however apparently the PTI members revolted at the end and voted for the mqm...The returning officer said that the mqm's 24 votes had scribbled remarks on them and thus they were cancelled...!!A PTI leader apparently shifted allegiances from the ittehad saying the mqm candidate was a friend
  
• 26-Aug-2016--The PMLn was literally bamboozled by Raheel Sharif forcing them to appoint two retired shiite sounding generals as wapda chairman and secretary defence...!!Nawaz Sharif has a habit of appointing shiites to important positions in the beaurocracy...many suggest that it had something todo with the quetta blast...iran and local shiites have been dictating Nawaz Sharifs policy on ISIS...otherwise they supposedly oppose religious sectarianism or religious differentiation unless it relates to the ISIS
  
• 25-Aug-2016--despite being one of the most reviled parties in pakistan mqm wins mayoral elections in KMC and districts east, central and korangi while in district west they teamed up with the PTI...That election was suspended by the ECP...The almost criminal jailed waseem akhter won the KMC election and was immediately being spoon fed...waseem akhter according to reports has confessed to his involvement in the May12 mayhem...he was taken from jail to vote...and since he is not likely tobe released soon he threatened to run the KMC from jail...however he offered complete cooperation to the chief minister and said he had great respect for the Rangers and police...!
  
• 24-Aug-2016--while border controls on the afghan side have been loosely controlled allowing afghans to literally move into pakistan...the army chief now wants strict border controls...afghans however have always found an alternative route especially teh terrorists
  
• 24-Aug-2016--The mqm seems tobe in the midst of a power struggle as the debilitated and exiled altaf hussein is told point blank by Farook sattar not to interfere in karachi matters...The coordination committee which was altaf made now will attempt to run karachi as an mqm-pakistan...many suggest that the mohajirs might have finally arrived in pakistan...upto now they have been crybabies on the way to pakistan...they seem to have an identity crisis of being indians but having been forced by ancestors to come to pakistan...altaf has been ostrasized for being afraid to come back and making consistent anti country remarks...whether the mqm can be viable without their destructive mentality of troublemaking terrorism is yet tobe seen...the PTI has made some inroads to karachi with two deputy mayorships while the mqm and PPP have maintained their respective area influences...
  
• 23-Aug-2016--The iranians have turned into a stooge for the americans as well as the russians...The russian flew long range bombers typically not required by the situation to bomb syrian rebels from an iranian airbase...Iran indicated that they wanted the russians to not publisize the move...iran's policy of being the worlds biggest stooge is pathetic...

• 23-Aug-2016--pro kalabagh wapda head summarily fired by Nawaz Sharif...he says he is leaving for personal reasons...apparently Nawaz Sharif blamed him for slow pace of work at the Tarbela extension project which Nawaz Sharif like most other projects had given to a chinese company...however the government should know that the extension project will have no major effect on load shedding as its utility is limited to periods when the dam is full that is usually about a month in late summer...The chinese are slowing down work work after the chinese government said that funds were not available...many doubt that all the sixteen generators at Tarbela can be run at the same time due to vibration problems...most of the coal, hydel, nuclear and LNG plants are not expected tobe complete by 2018...the hydel plants however even if completed are only effective during late summer...nuclear plants have a longer completion time and the only option is to fastpace work on coal and LNG plants and their supply options...coal and LNG plants which have are imported only have tobe installed after transporting them from karachi generally an easier job which can be fast tracked...
  
• 23-Aug-2016--mqm workers went berserk after an altaf hussein speech at a strike center...they set on fire a police moboile and motorbike and surrounded Ary television center...police clashed with the mqm as they fired at them...army chief apparently directly issued orders for the arrest of those involved...police arrested mqm workers and leaders and raided 90...The Rangers chief however said that everything was normal..the mqm reacted after analysis that the new chief minister was pretty soft...

• 19-Aug-2016--The government seems unable to handle hoax calls at its 1717 facility for terror information...many feel that the government should have the ability to distinguish hoax calls and not unnecessarily restrict people from making calls...it shows many suggest the governments lack of expertise...who is going to make a call if he might even theoretically end up in jail...an individual can obviously also make mistakes and it would be much better if the people can make calls without restriction since they obviously cant investigate their own calls...!
  
• 19-Aug-2016--The governments urea policy is in tatters...it firstly gave incentives of low gas price for increasing production at the countries five urea plants than found that the Trading Corporation of Pakistan and private importers had over 300000 tons of urea lying around...when u can import urea why waste the important commodity of gas on manufacturing urea...government has now reduced prices by 27%...when the private sector is capable of imports than TCOP should get out of urea imports

• 19-Aug-2016--two top officials of Interstate gas systems(pvt) Ltd fired after they critisized the government for the nawabsah gas pipeline and an LPG pipeline and said that that the people would have to pay $20.3 billion in their bills over 20 twenty years for just 600 million cubic feet of gas and that the government was literally swindling the people...The iran-gwadar pipeline has been shelved and replaced by the gawadar-nawabshah pipeline and the consultants have been shifted without due diligence...they also say that the LPG pipeline cost was a whopping $526 million per year and and the people would have to foot the bill despite benefits to only a few industrialists...Nawaz Sharif had given the LPG pipeline to the russians to build but they have yet to appear on the ground due to their problematic middle east politics
  
• 16-Aug-2016--The armies failure to control terrorism precisely demonstrated by the Quetta suicide bombing had the army chief quibling about NAP...Raheel Shareef had earlier taken responsibility but has admitted his failures and wants more civilian inputs...in the moves the PMLn has agreed to setup 29 new FC wings and organize a committee which has shifted responsibility from Raheel Shareef and the interior minister to the National Security Advisor who will head an anti terrorism committee composed of chief secretaries, DG Nacta, DGMO, IG's, home secretaries and intelligence agencies...
  
• 16-Aug-2016--Nawaz Sharifs woes mounted as he was put under pressure by Raheel Shareef on terrorism as well as appointing the new COAS...According to reports while the incumbent is now bent upon staying on he is unable to make the senior officers being considered for the position look like ogres or incompetent compared to himself...many are regarding Lt General Ramday and Lt. Gen ishfaq nadeem as frontrunners for the position but the cautious Nawaz Sharif may still be looking into retaining the loyal Raheel Shareef or the softer Lt Generals such as hayat and bajwa for the top two positions in the army...Not replacing Raheel Shareef will make it look as if shareef has been frightened like kayani frightened the PPP into retaining him...not replacing the army chief will carryon the situation for another three years of on off terrorism...!
  
• 16-Aug-2016--In other news Modi referred to pakistan as an ungrateful neighbour and all but admitted to terrorism in balochistan, AJK and Gilgit...Modi accused pakistan of sponsoring terrorism and civil right violations in balochistan, gilgit and AJK...The reasoning is the indian militaries crackdown in OK in which over 70 people have been killed some literally hacked to death...however the beleagured pakistanis still invited the indian foreign secretary for talks on kashmir...it points to Nawaz sharifs failed and needless attempt at friendship with the hindu extremist leader...Sartaj Aziz accused the indians of trying to divert attention from the situation in Occupied Kashmir...Pakistan has since musharaf attempted to go along with the status quo but no change has resulted with the indans showing utter disregard for the peoples aspirations in Occupied kashmir as well as pakistans feelings...pakistan has been subdued by the indians repeated accusations of sponsoring terrorism while the pakistan response is that it is war of a liberation
