• Sep30-2016--india escalating the conflict attacked several border positions along the LOC killing two pakistani soldiers...pakistan pooh poohed their suggestions that they had a launched a surgical strike across the heavily fenced area...done at night the soldiers probably were asleep showing the devious and mean natured indians attitude at launching attacks in the early morning hours...in theory since soldiers have been killed in a cross LOC attack the pakistanis should retaliate with sufficient force...

• Sep25-2016--in a bizzare incident a PAF F-7PG crashed in to the mountains near Jamrud killing the pilot for no apparent reason...The F-7 is known as a flying coffin as its ejection system seems to fail frequently...it is also possible that the planes navigation system failed thus making it impossible for the pilot to control direction and altitude...even if the pilot directed the plane to crash into the mountain he could easily have ejected...which shows that the planes known defects have not been rectified...
  
• Sep25-2016--while giving the orders for another 29 Rafales jets from France Modi wants pakistan to work on education and poverty reduction...i think india has mistakenly taken the pathetic nawaz sharif as an indian stooge...and now wants to bamboozle the people too...the indian people barely show an interest in fights in regions other than theirs and it is india that cant handle occupied kashmir...it is quite clear from URI that it could easily be a setup to fool pakistan and the world...The world does not believe unless something takes place in the open which they can see and analyze...within the hour the indians were offering DNA tests and blood tests...india has already compiled numerous DNA tests and can offer them in a jiffy...but there are no DNA databases in pakistan and thus are generally useless unless they are specifically linked to a certain family...India apparently just wants one group and that makes them susceptible to lies and deceipt...The indians fail to realize that military action could have devastating consequences...
  
• Sep25-2016--The SBP has ordered the accounts of 2012 individuals frozen for terror financing...the lists apparently provided by Nacta donot seem to include killers of the various sectarian organisations especially from the rawalpindi region...there are apparently no terror suspects in KP at all...
  
• Sep17-2016--In some out of the box thinking many here are suggesting that Raheel Shareef may have suggested Lt. Gen Syed Wajid Hussein as Chairman Joints Chief and the relatively junior Lt Gen Omer Hayat as COAS...Recently according to reports Nawaz Sharif has only asked to meet Wajid Hussein...That meeting has taken place...!Wajid Hussein is the number two on the seniority list...the other seniors did not want tobe considered for Chairman...This could throw up a hornets nest...however there are control scenarios as Omer Hayats brother is CGS and thus would not let things go bad as one of the likely promotees as Lt Gen is Ahmed Hayat another sibling...the other three seniors could be molified and retire normally...Nawaz Sharif this time has taken his whole family on tour and that could suggest some frightening scenario or threats...many are suggesting that Maryam Sharif could be arrested immediately on her return to mollify many generals and politicians...if the superceded generals seek retirement than at least five other major generals could also be promoted...in any case three lt generals are to retire in Jan 2017 and two later in the year...this could also throw up some surprising scenarios...amongst those who could also be considered for COAS are Lt Gen Ikram Ul Haq and Lt General Rizwan Akhter amongst many others...any way some corp commanders would have tobe transferred to GHQ positions almost immediately...The hayats seem to own the army...the three siblings are strategically placed...around islambad...one is CGS who defacto runs the army...another is chairman POF at Wah and the third is a director at ISI directly in islambad...? other scenarios include the simplistic navy chief as Chairman joint chiefs...thinking he is pretty simple...he thinks that an ATR aircraft or a simple naval ship could effectively improve the Navy...The airforce chief has also written his own epitah by not being able to get the eight F_16's...many also suggest that Nawaz Sharif has a partiality for shiites...he also has a shiite president...others suggest that nawaz sharif having been embarassed by the saudis on yemen may want an army chief who can take the blame rather than run a propaganda campaign almost upstaging the government...!when closely questioned by the saudi's Raheel Sharif bluntly told them that political decisions are Nawaz Sharifs responsibility...The saudis wanted a hundred pilots the pakistani's told them that they only needed one...!embarassing the saudis literally knocked the air out of Nawaz Sharifs home based religious support base...while Omer hayat could be an attractive choice many suggest that Nawaz Sharif will go with the safe options ie...Javed Ramday and a thinker who can mould the strategy at chairman joint chiefs...!!Raheel Shareef as chairman joint chiefs is looking as an extremely difficult choice at the moment...The army at the moment is in a precarious state...almost all the numerous major generals have been superceded...one has never in the past seen so many superceded major generals clinging on to their technical positions...it is as if they have no ego left...!!!However countering the above argument is that Nawaz Sharif wants wajid as COAS...?or he just wanted to discus the strategy of tank building and whether we could supply the saudis with a hundred tanks...?or would he like to go to yemen and talk to the opposition to simmer down...!!pretty difficult to believe at the moment...!!strategically thinking could a general counter his own thinking...and understand and counter what russia and iran are doing...iran wants a nuclear umbrella many think for which they are willing to sell themselves to almost anyone...the arab shiites, the USA or russia or even both...we could revive the Qadeer Khan initiative...? however we have critisized the North Korean nuclear test...?i think the foreign office should realize that the US has already sold itself to india, iran and russia...who needs pakistan strategically when u cant even cross your own border...?

• Sept16-2016--The cabinet may have been misled on what the term surplus power means.It means 1410MW at Tarbela which never turns on...and it may also mean another 969MW at Neelum Jhelum which only works in summer periods...NJ was tobe completed in Dec 2016 but now is slated to take another two years...!even now u can give the people no load shedding...shut down the useless industries and import things from China at a fraction of the cost...both hydel stations will not work in winter...or stop following sindh orders on when to let water go from tarbela...they also think that there are nine wind turbines of 330MW and a 680 MW nuclear ready to come online...i doubt that the primeminister would not inaugurate them if they were ready...nuclear has upto now been a panacea which has never delivered...one can only hope that coal and LNG plants come online quickly...LNG is one of the only quick hopes...coal has a very long supply line and many may find that coal may also fail to serve as the year around supplier of energy...i would suggest that Nawaz Sharif forget the industrialists and work for the people...!!!
