- Jun13-2017--Nawaz Sharif who is visibly linked to the Qatar-Turkey group jumped again into a Gulf dispute without any reasons or need...The gulf states have broken ties with qatar and the saudi's have imposed sanctions on qatar's airline and cutoff border and other travel links...Qatari rich men have been supposedly linked to financing the IS in libya and syria...The IS and iranian backed shiite groups have been said tobe behind bombings in saudi shiite areas...The pakistani's are also said tobe linked to iranian interventions in arab areas...all this has created problems for the saudi king who was visibly upset at Nawaz Sharifs presentation...Nawaz Sharif previously was unable to create any impression on attempts at yemeni negotiations...with Nawaz Sharif literally opposing any saudi interventions but not those of turkey, qatar and iran he is creating a seperate stance for pakistan which is at best supporting iranian interventions...pakistan has not opposed or issued statements on iranian, qatar and turkish interventions showing a definite fright of riling up the iranians and others...but he is continually opposing saudi power mongering even amongst arab states...pakistan is thus opposing its own policy of having good similar relations amongst all muslim countries but following a seperate and divisive path itself...with the situation changing in the middle east pakistan's stance is at best insulting in saudi terms...!pakistan should clearly join one of the groups amongst islamic countries..to have any basic position on the situation...

How it all started...coups and politics and islam and democracy...

total humiliation...India had steadily destabilized east pakistan over twenty years playing on ethnic, financial, development and military concerns...pakistan was not that rich at that time and the ethnicists played on phsychosis generated by cyclones, floods, tea and jute...the army and west pakistani politicians could not accept a bengali dominated government and a small army contingent could not defend against the mukti bahini and the indians as teh US withdrew its support as usual...When teh going gets tough teh US chickens out as usual...!! The indians have continued teh same themes in karachi, sindh and balochistan but similar tougher responses have not allowed their success although pakistan is now at best a divided land with a pathetic center...!!While it left pakistan numb at the time many now feel the seperation was a proper solution as east pakistanis did not get along with pakistan and they would be better able to solve their problems with india...others still pine away for the lost land of rivers, tea and jute...others suggest that india should handover kashmir in exchange...while some still want to repatriate those considered pakistanis and left stranded in bangladeshi camps...others however heave a sigh of relief as teh problems with the remaining provinces are generally insoluble.....and ethnic regionalism or provincialism mixed with economic and racial nonsense is not a pleasant mode of politics anyway...
