• Jan31-2018--The PPP expects 6 baluchistan senate seats despite having a few members only...the PMLn suggests that they are after three baluchistan senate seats and that the breakaway coalition is now effectively a PPP block...how that works out with other components having more seats is questionable...!The PMLn has not asked the ECP to study whether its breakaway members are guilty of floor crossing suggesting that it could be a PMLn move to placate the PPP who could than form a coalition with them in the center if the need arose...!many have seen the HEC hiring committee as a form that the coalition could take place ie. PMLn-Musharaf-PPP...!!!

• Jan31-2018--US report suggests that Taleban have made gains in afghanistan...Taleban control 12% and 24% is a mix while the government controls 62% of the population...In the last ten months civilian casaulties have soared to 8000 while only 11 US soldiers died...the US is using top of the line aircraft such as the B-52, F-22, F-18 and A-10 to carry out bombing sorties...opium production was also up 87%...!

• Jan31-2018--In a surprise announcement the foreign office announced that pakistan had handed over 27 militants to kabul in November..he alo announced that they were holding a tough line against the Taleban and Haqqani groups...seen as appeasement for the USA it shows that pakistans desperation knows no bounds...why they handed over 27 militants in a cloak and dagger move is unclear...They could easily have handed them over in public and gained some political advantage...!Afghanistan quickly denied that anybody had been handed over...!
  
• Jan31-2018--The SC convened a five judge bench to decide whether article 621f disqualifications are for life or whether the SC can decide the duration...or cancel them if they think that the disqualified person has repented...Most pakistani politicians never repent...Nawaz Sharif and his brother have received annually one million dollars from their children which the SC has not questioned...Imran Khan suggests that Nawaz Sharifs jati umra employees are transferring crores of rupees abroad...so the question that a pakistani politician might repent is questionable...one disqualified person wanted his disqualification questioned because he paid a lot of taxes...The justification for top politicians having properties abroad that even their top lieutenants did not know about...!!!Nawaz Sharif is not going to giveup shifting funds abroad...he will just find another method...as will any other bussinessman, industrialist or sugar baron...!the court should realize that if the writers of the constitution good, bad or coup plotters meant that such disqualification should be for life...all other laws which carry sentences define their period...writing a law is for the lawmakers...The court can overturn a new law but it cannot amend it or write something init...if the lawmakers did not define a time period than it is meant for it not to end...that Nawaz Sharif has decided to attend the court means that he has accepted his judgement...many suggest the CJP looks a bit odd arguing the case for the disqualified and that if Nawaz Sharif should come himself and literally ask for mercy suggesting that he would handover the Avon field apartments to the court...many suggest that the CJP just might turn upside down and cancel the disqualification at a moments notice...!How about it Tareen...? can you live without your 12 acres in England..!while Tareen has only suggested that he is a top taxpayer Nawaz Sharif has implied that the court and its judges are biased and incompetent...!he has insinuated something he might have to explain in another case for contempt of court...!

• Jan30-2018--ECP announces senate elections for march 3. While elections in three provinces and Fata are literally straight forward there could be an upset in baluchistan and on a seat in KP...!these senate elections could mean the end of the PPP political power for ever...!
  
• Jan24-2018--After the PMLn threatened to kill the judges children the judges called the PMLn a mafia and quoted from the Mario Puzo book on the subject...now the CJ has come out with another historical quote from Winston Churchill...that speeches not be as long as longskirt or as short as a mini skirt...!The PMln again went haywire at the judges comment which probably is aimed at the 'stuck record' of Nawaz Sharif...however stand in Abbasi says he is not after a NRO which is the work of thiefs...Abbasi many say is only after PIA and will get it privatized by hook or crook...Abbasi said tobe the owner of AirBlue...!
  
• Jan23-2018--The primeminister alongwith Nawaz Sharif continues to try and blackmail the judiciary...Parliament already has oversight on selection of judges...he is also calling for parliamentary oversight of the judiciary...when parliament cannot control the primeminister or even eject a bad lawmaker and the primeminister says he is following he orders of a disqualified legislator...than how can such a system be given the right to oversee judicial decisions...!That is only possible when parliament shows that it has legal acumen and can behave within limits of propriety...
  
• Jan23-2018--There is a general division along party lines on whether parliament or PMLn legislators are laanaty...sindhis usually issue five laanats while the PTI has issue lakh laanats to parliament...The PPP is the sole party unable to understand whether they are in opposition or support the government...the primeminister also has disgraced parliament by calling the PTI walas laanatis..!
  
• Jan23-2018--Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has a dubious stand on Hafiz Saeed...first he called him sahib and said there was no evidence against him and allowed him tobe released by the courts...than he put him under house arrest again...!..Than he says that he will take over the charities run by Hafiz Saeed...The charities have a good record and the government has not allowed hafiz saeed todo much barring minor political participation...The PMLn has been surprised and stunned by the 15000 votes won by the tehreek Labaik in Chakwal while the Milli muslim league also won 5000 votes in Na 120...
