• Apr20-2018--Pmln supported union collapses to a humiliating defeat in PIA union elections...PPP-JI-Mqmp coalition defeat the PMLn on opposition to privatisation...few PIA employees are visible at airports these days and even boarding pass handlers dont have a baggage handler and the food can hardly be called that...?
  
• Apr20-2018--Bilawal unable to grasp his parties dynasty approach saying it is not his doing...it has obviously not been forced on the party...why two zardari's both from sindh should be chairman and co chairman of a party is not believable logic since the party does have other viable leaders compared to other one leader parties...maybe he should study the difference between democracy, dictatorship and monarchies tobe able to understand the criticism...and the decline of his party in other provinces
  
• Apr20-2018--Imran khan many say should not be fooled by Chaudhry Nisar's antics...as a muslim leaguer he is a conniving political sycophant or hanger on and some suggest that to get into the good books of the Supreme leader he might have arranged some pot shots at a judge disliked by Nawaz Sharif...? when he went to inform the leader he apparently still refused to see him...One doubts he would last very long before jumping on the bandwagon if Maryam Nawaz became the head of the PMLn accidently...!
  
• Apr20-2018--CJP just out of the blue went to KP and visited a hospital...he told the CM that the hospital is not upto the mark and why no new hospital had been constructed in islamabad...while peshawar might be important in KP it is more important to see that doctors are available in rural areas...whether he is doing it suo moto or just for fun is not known...one doubts that people from KP have been complaining to the CJ about their hospitals...The CJP seems tobe taking on the provincial governments to ensure that they are delivering something to the people...!CJP said that their performance in hydel generation was pathetic while the chief minister said that he had recruited 57000 school staff...The CJP also directed the police chief to remove security details from commoners...
  
• Apr17-2018--Afghanistan returns bodies of five FC men killed after the afghans started firing when a fence was being constructed along the Kurram border...apparently 10 afghans also killed...Iranian border forces also kill two pakistani migrants...!

• Apr16-2018--A cricket team selected for ireland and england contains no new fast bowlers...how inzamam justifies it is unclear...It is obviously not an inzamam team and probably the coach, sarfaraz and sethi are behind the selections...Saad Ali came from nowhere to knockout Fawad Alam...Fawad has over 10000 runs in domestic cricket while Saad apparently had the best total in the last domestic era....he averaged 68 while no one else went above 51...four openers seem too much...Fakhar and Azhar should have been enough... both are generally consistent...Fawad Alam also played as an opener in tests and that is probably why he has been dropped as the team seemingly has a strong middle order...Sami is a bit slow and Imamul Haq is probably a number three or four with a bad season...not being selected for the PSL makes them pariah's...still getting selected is probably sifarish...Imam supposedly always has a stomach ache...!not including an upcoming fast bowler might put all the burden on Rahat and Hasan Ali and Abbas...!...Not including a second spinner and adding a dasher as an alrounder is also strange...Haris, Azhar and asad shafiq are probably the only long innings players...including a spinner who is a short form specialist could backfire...there is also no spinning alrounder if you want to play four seamers barring Fakhare Zaman or Azhar and both can only bowl a few overs...nine batsmen in a 16 man team is a bit too much...Usman, Sami and and Imam will probably have to sit it out...!Rashid Latif critisizes the Fakhre Zaman selection/Fawad no selction even though he is a genuine scorer and could flay the bowling as he did in the championship trophy...He also does not understand why consistent fast bowlers Mir Hamza and Sadaf Hussein are not considered...The bowling on paper looks ordinary with hasan and mohammed amir not in too much form...That leaves the team dependent on the short form specialist Shadab Khan and Faheem Ashraf...!
  
• Apr16-2018--Two bullets are fired at at an SC judge Ijaz Ul Ahsan's house in Lahore...he sat on various benches dealing with Nawaz Sharif and called Nawaz Sharif/PMLn a mafia after a PMLn Senator threatened the kids of judges...Nawaz Sharif also accused the judge of a personal bias...Many accuse Nawaz Sharif, Maryam Nawaz, Maryum Aurangzeb and former senator Nihal Hashmi of having organized the attack...there were rumours of the arrest of Nawaz Sharifs two Maryams who are particularly involved in the ridicule of the judiciary...Abbasi and Bajwa were absent from the country...maryams husband Safdar is being accused by some as teh organisor of teh attacks...
  
• Apr16-2018--PTI seems desperate to make a breakthru in the next elections...while there is no evidence against any bias against south punjab the PTI is attempting to pick up any votes that it can...The Punjab assembly is unlikely to have a 2/3 majority for a south punjab province...The PTI is desperate enough to even try to pickup the south punjab mahaz a group of PMLq-PPP ex leaders who had joined the PMLn and recently dropped out...South Punjabs main cities are quite improved compared to the 1970's and Multan also has a Metro and an international airport...while the Motorway has been snaking its way thru south punjab for some decades...many feel that south punjab should only be seperated into a seperate provinve if KP, sind and balochistan also agree to new provinces..some see sindh as the lowest riparian after south punjab is formed and losing a chunk of its irrigation water...The only difference a new province makes is having its own provincial assembly and provincial capital...!
