Jan15-2024--PMLn finally released from the pressure of courts says that the PTI symbol was actually danda rather than bat with which they tried to beat up the state...with the court cases over the PMLn can move in to electioneering..with the PPP edging up it is going tobe a difficult election..in the last three elections there have always been major changes..what happens in this one is open to interpretation and the probable forecast is a three way divide between PPP, PMLn and the PTI independents...with the spoils also up for grabs for the Juif, IPP and PTI-p... whether the Mqm can sweep karachi or not with the JI/PPP stronger...how the independents fare is questionable and whether the PTI has a party ready by than for them to join...in the following map of 2018 elections... Jan14-2024 --In a landmark decision the SC decided that the ECP is a regulator of political parties and conducter of elections and overturned the PHC decision on the bat symbol and PTI intraparty elections...The judges were concerned about the malafide intent of the ECp but the pti lawyer could not provide any details on bias...and whether an intraparty election had actually taken place..The pTI could produce no record or of payment by candidates..There might also have been a drama of the gohar ali khan residence being robbed and possible negative pressurizing of the CJ...the CJ also mentioned that the PPP symbol of sword had been taken away too..with symbols being given tonight the PTI has no time left for a review..Their plan B of the PTI-nazriati letting them use their symbol also seemed in trouble...that leaves the pti candidates running as independents and the pti issuing lists of their independents and candidates making sure people know who is the pti candidate...This shows the very bad risky stance of imran of continuing to attack ECP chief sultan sikander raja needlessly...who looks like an ordinary innocent guy being browbeaten by the head of a powerful macho party...!there was also the propaganda that gohar ali khan was just a nominated front and all decisions came from imran..PTI should now hold a regular intraparty election where nominations are made, voted on and announced publically...give the 840000 members of pti the right to vote...in intraparty elections first...!generally this could benefit the other parties mainly the PPP and to a lesser extent the PMLn...pti could study shifting their vote bank to other pti offshoot parties...or even directly to the PPP...The judges said that they take the work of constitutional organs very seriously...some said that it was a guilotining of the pti..many remember that the pti wanted to guillotine nawaz sharif during its dharna on parliament...!as far as fundamental rights go many doubt that a party has any ...while people's right to vote for a party is affected to a certain extent independents do win elections all over the place...the candidates can/should get leaflets featuring their name/picture/symbol into each voters hand...!and since the pti is out of the picture they could give pti-nazriati whatever they want to use their name and symbol...! In the longterm this is a consequence of what happened on May9...

While a senior counsel said that a purge is taking place...while another called it a national witchhunt...PMLn's Maryam Aurangzeb demanded that Justice Ahsan must be held accountable...she said that he could not be exonerated from terrible actions against democracy and the constitution...she said he called the PMLn a sicilian mafia and put together gems of his choice in the JIT on panama papers...she added that the top court would be strengthened...while the PMLn may have nothing todo with current fiasco the former infighting under Bandial may have a lot todo with it...both may have been part of the PTI cartel in the court...
Jan12-2024--another senior SC judge ejazul ahsan has resigned from the SC..he was tobe the CJ later this year...this leaves the way clear for Justice Mansoor Ali Shah. Justice Ahsan had run into trouble with the CJ on various issues including the proceedings in the SJC on Justice Mazhar, judicial independence and not attending meetings on friday as he jetted of to lahore before office close...it is yet not clear whether the proceedings in the SJC on Justice Mazhar will continue or be ended...Justice Esa is more liberal and has no problems with recent laws made by parliament and has also suspended the justice ahsan led decision on military trials.
Jan11-2024-- plethora of judicial reasoning is coming to the fore and probably more is on the way...one particularly heard the disqualification clauses being called not self-executory and guidelines for the people...people rarely read the constitution and they actually guide courts and the ECP..Now Justice Ayesha has come out with the reasoning that ordinary citizens should have a fair trial...this in the May9 mayhem and their trial in military courts...obviously this would not have happened if the SC had been attacked and burnt down...these days there are courts for terrorism, narcotics and accountability...are those courts based on the concepts of fair trial...usually they are based on the views of the government or Nab or public opinion...one thing is very basic that Justice Ayesha and Afridi think that military trials are not fair trials .That means that we do not give our military men fair trials. If it is a constitutional right than trials under the military or army act are unconstitutional for everyone and should be done away with...That is not correct. Military trials have everything that is needed for a fair trial and can be appealed to the army chief...victims or accused are represented by military officers/lawyers and can produce witnesses...there is also oversight by the judge advocate general...it is not open and shut...civilian courts are also intertwined with the executive in one way or the other. There is no such thing as an ordinary citizen. And if a magistrate gives a verdict for a military trial...! In normal protests people are let off within days...but these were not ordinary protests but attacks on military infrastructure almost countrywide...and according to imran conducted by his personal army according to party orders...

Jan10-2024--a supreme court judge facing an SJC show cause has resigned saying he was not being provided an opportunity to defend himself. He was accused of cancelling the musharaf death sentence which was recently reinstated...in contrast to a reference to study the death sentence of a former primeminister...the former primeminister was accused of using a federal agency FSF to eliminate political opponents from Kasur using army soldiers...the judge mazhar ali naqvi is also accused of amassing a staggering amount of wealth and involvement in audio leaks..no details of the wealth have yet emerged...it shows justice ejazul ahsan in a poor light who supported the judge and is supposedly to be the next CJ...previously the SC has avoided going against SC judges in various cases including the present CJ whose wife had three houses in england...and a former CJ accused of getting free paid holidays with his family in monaco/lichenstein amounting to 300000dollars. That CJ had three terms as CJ ...however a supposedly right wing IHC judge was removed who accused the ISI of interfering in his court cases.
Jan10-2024e--Imran a former prime minister has been arrested in a dozen more cases in the May9 violence including the Rawalpindi GHQ attack..he and his wife are also accused of running away with most state gifts at throwaway prices..imran apparently made over 300 million during his stay in power about ten times his earlier wealth...he says that he is being victimised for reigning in the powerful quarters...meaning that he attacked the GHQ to control the powerful military...!generally he and the military/ISI were very friendly and "literally hand in glove"... until the PDM orchestrated a divide between him and the military chief on the appointment of a new ISI chief and than the bilawal orchestrated no trust removed him...he seems to have been in power to make wealth...he apparently collected millions in donations ...16 billion annually and further billions in party funding from dubious sources.

Jan9-2024--The SC overturned a previous judgment/judgments disallowing a lifetime disqualification under article 62(1)(f)..technically a disqualification now can be for five years ...the court seemed to suggest that people are allowed to stand in elections and elect whom they choose...despite the various qualifications needed under articles 62(1) f, d, e and g which are therefore just guidelines for the voter until further amendments clarify the matter...court literally acting against its former activism...it would be enlightening to see what it says in the reference on ZAB's death sentence...where the CJ has pontificated that the court can reopen cases where a injustice is proven...the PPP points to a Nasim Hasan Shah interview that the judgement was given under pressure. The courts always are under some sort of pressure in Pakistan..That suggests that the court could allow the LHC to rehear the case..That would be a major judgement..i suggest that the court should ask the president to pardon Zulfikar ali Bhutto...whatever the faults in the judgements/sentencing and the administrations maneouvering...!That Zulfikar ali bhuttos defence was faulty goes without saying....
Jan8-2024--the pti suggests that internet blocking took place around 6pm... during which they conducted a telethon to beg for alms...imran has enough funds personally...his wealth apparently increased tenfold while in government...i personally did not feel any blocking...The pti has a general policy of howling unfair treatment about everything...The ECP says that 76% of PTI's election applications had been accepted...most rejected had also been accepted by tribunals...in the national assembly 598 of 843 applications have been accepted...that is about two applications for every seat...The pti thinks that it can fool the people, administration, fauj, judiciary and police all the time...

Jan7-2024--the maulana is important politically in Baluchistan and KP...while the BAP resolution in the senate is non-binding it is important to study the rationale...that some areas in Baluchistan and Punjab maybe snowed in... the cold weather should have eased up quite a bit by February the 8th...however if conditions are difficult in some areas the elections can be delayed in those specific areas. however, the maulana is in Kabul and could help in easing the situation in the tribal areas viz the TTP...some say that the maulana has shifted towards the Pti recently...a delay of a few or upto three weeks would generally not make any difference however there always are some who benefit more than others. Many would see it in the light that the BAP would like to stay in power longer viz Kaker Kuker...!others suggested that the Taliban might be interested in twisting the maulana's arm to support imran...the Pti would like him as a imam but not as a leader in KP...he is said to command majority support in many areas barring Hazara...the TTP or militants have been attacking military infrastructure in his area of DI khan which is outside the main tribal areas of KP...
Jan2-2024--power went on and off in rawalpindi yesterday all day stabilising some what late at night...disruption apparently due to a blast and fire in a guddu switchyard which tripped the power plant...which tripped three 500kv and 220 kv lines...effecting a place literally in the north with numerous power plants lying shutdown is some sort of a record of inefficiency...
Jan2-2024--Buner is a very hidden place in the hilly mountains near swat...it was a place where the TTP literally fought the pakistan army and there were burned out tanks on the hillsides after the TTP fled...that is the home of the new chairman of the PTI...apparently he had been given the task by none other than imran to burn down a military installation in Buner...after searching he could not find a military installation so he burned down his own home saying it was a hideout of the secret police...as a reward he has been made PTI chairman...apparently he has received his bullet proof kevlar coat already...!he is probably one of the secret commanders of imrans personal army...
Jan2-2024--some are raising a ruckus on the number of rejections by the RO's..the maximum in the NA rejections are 45% in islamabad with an overall 13.70%...In the provincial assembly an overall rejection rate of 11.99% with a maximum of 21.59% in baluchistan...The trouble makers mostly from the PTi and its supporters said that the RO's are generally malicious and biased against them. however there are more GDA rejections in sindh while overall the PTI leads...many regard it as their lack of experience and ineptness given the nature of their troublemaking arsonist bitter leadership...Gohar ali khan the buneri said that they have stopped issuing statements against the army after he took over...however most of their nobodies (followers) continued making dubious and strange allegations against the army with even a judge yahya afridi saying that the army was responsible for the arson attacks because they did not fire on the trouble makers...according to some only firing in the air was seen at the iSI residences of Ojhri camp...as people thought about it and did not congregate their...many have questioned why the army did not protect their infrastructure and instead ran from places like the corp commanders residence in lahore...election tribunals will study the final decisions on appeals by jan12...there are various issues like sheikh rashid not mentioning his 3 marla plot in some village...he responds that he has mentioned 1200 canals of dubiously acquired land and three marla's hardly means anything...shah mahmud qureshi rejected in sindh for not paying water bills...!others have been rejected based on various theories of non payment of bills, conviction, not appearing in person and absconding from the police etc...a few have been questioned on disqualification...The PTI had filed over 2000 applications for 40 na seats and 90 provincial seats so they do have leftovers on all seats...The anti pakistan nature of the PTI was apparent as they even started their propaganda campaign in england against the RO's rejections..it is the process and RO's make decisions by themselves as well on complaints...

Senior officials have been removed on the charges of corruption which can mean anything in China..many regard it as Xi's anger over failures in frightening Taiwan, policy in the south china sea, producing new missiles and lack of equipment and spares...while China has a greater political outreach its military is restricted to the taiwan strait and the south china sea having a shortage of aircraft carriers and aggression oriented warships...many suggest that the military leaders must have been discussing and critisizing Xi's economic failures...!
