• Sep14--2018-China saying that they are not anti muslim in the context of anti semitic type gulag style reorientation/extermination camps for muslims...china has been trying to reduce muslim influence by mass movement of chinese han's to resettle in their areas...china has been forcing muslims to avoid islamic actions like the french who banned the islamic headgear...the chinese want muslims to also not study the quran nor wear any headgear
  
  
• Sep14-2018-In the foreign ministry the government protests at US india talks that focused on pakistan...the pakistan ambassador to the UK is an alocoholic..and the government trying to explain that CSF funds were not aid and the US consistently refusing to pay its bills...also since the US is no longer paying us we are not going to fight their war..and they cannot talk about terrorism to us...the government wants to replace non foreign office ambassadors with its own men but does not seem to have the courage...
  
  
• Sep14-2018--the government seems more interested in hotels and museums rather than official residences and bullet proof cars...they also seem tobe against metro's in punjab but not in KP...small amounts of subsidies on metros in punjab seem to irritate the PTI...the subsidies amount to around Rs8 billion hardly an astronomic amount...however the government seems interested in subsidies for the countries rich industrialists and agriculture lobby...!after enhancing gas and electricity rates which generally are aimed at the middle economic group of people the government now says that it has not increased gas and electricity prices...after suggesting that CPEC was badly envisaged and seemingly costly they now have backed off and say they will hire again international consultants to study the issue...they seem to like the costly $9 billion ML1 railway track enhancement compared to other projects and want to slow down CPEC power sector projects...The chinese were livid at their criticism of CPEC and the government decided to support CPEC all over again...the government generally seem tobe a pro capitalistic rich people government as opposed to being pro people...

• Sep7-2018--Atif Mian a US scholar of Economics has been fired from the Economics advisory board...not because of economics or because of being an ahmedi...on being an ahmedi the PTI spokesman said that it is the government job to protect minorities...however apparently the army chief could not accept his criticism of the closed door policy on CPEC...apparently he said that "ask a question on CPEC" and they brand you as an enemy of the State or a traitor...the government propaganda has centered around CPEC being a game changer...the game has not been identified ...? However US think tanks have suggested the chinese are also looking for a military base which they think will be Jiwani and the chinese will have a protected corridor from Gawadar to their border......such attitudes are typical of the pakistan army and intelligence services...However Ahmedis have long been the establishment choice for economics minister/positions since the Ayub Khan era...even Ishaq Dar is reputed tobe an ahmedi while some even refer to Bajwa as one...according to Imran Khan the armed forces are the only functioning institution in the country...however one must point out that the institution is funded to the tune of Rs1.3 trillion annually...The army chief as usual has already started to put his stamp on government policy...! many however have called the economists a front for indian entrepreneurs aspiring to buy the privatisation attempts of asad umar..another two foreign economists including imran rasool based in england have also left the government think tank according to some...that leaves several pakistani academics in the advisory group on investment and economics...While minorities like ahmedis do have problems in some areas they too are involved in a widespread anti pakistan propaganda campaign on the international level...however most ahmedis come under the wealthy well off bracket...If the government has problems in understanding basic economic issues than they should not be in politics...Atif Mian apparently did not like the governments attitude on CPEC and also wanted Rs. 25 billion distributed amongst ahmedis...

• Sep6-2018--Mike Pompeo made a five hour visit to Islamabad as Donald Trump fended off trouble at home...Pompeo was probably more conciliatory and their statement carried no recriminations which are generally the US style...!with no real solution in sight to regional issues the US secretary of State preferred that the issues be dealt with at military to military level...however he was even more friendly to the indians on his next leg of the tour...
  
  
• Sep5-2018--The Imran Khan government expected to tell the US that we are fighting all terrorists in pakistan and fighting terrorism in afghanistan or india is not our responsibility as no one has helped pakistan in dealing with terrorism inside pakistan...The US has been blind to indian involvement in terrorism and have been tentative in handling terrorism in afghanistan where the Taliban take them on wherever they find them...Pakistan should also tell the US that talking to afghan taleban is also their duty...
  
  
• Sep5-2018--Babar Awan who was one of Imran Khans unelected advisors functioning as a minister resigned after NAB announced an investigation against him for delaying the Nandipur Power plant...The PPP government had ordered the Nandipur plant in 2008 but the machinery had been left lying at the port for several years as the chinese refused to install it...!
  
  
• Sep5-2018--Arif Alvi a dentist becomes president of pakistan...the votes in parliament for the government and opposition candidates were exactly equal ie 212 with six votes rejected...in the electoral college the government got 353 votes while the maulana fazl and aitezaz ahsan got 185 and 124...In the sindh assembly the diehard anti PPP opposition polled six extra votes for Aitezaz ahsan...probably extremist sindhis or punjabis
  
  
• Sep5-2018--Two decisions by the PTI rulers seem pretty pathetic...In the first Asad Umar announced an electricity tariff increase by about four rupees...people in the upper bracket are already paying over Rs15 per unit so the increase might be in the second bracket...this is despite an existing price increase mecahanism for fuel adjustments...In the second decision Imran Khan himself announced a massive 56% incresae in gas prices...both increases were announced without any justification or involvement of the national assembly...it seems that the PTI is going to continue the policy of fool the public as long as you can...some suggest that these might be the early conditionalities for a sellout to the IMF...!

• Sep1-2018--The Imran Khan government might be doing some chakar makar on the US agent Shakil Afridi jailed for spying on Ossama Ben Laden...he was recently shifted from Adiala to Faisalabad jail...The government maybe willing to cut a deal on handing over Afridi to the USA in exchange for the release of Afia Siddiqui...The other significant and possibly related event is the appointment of Shehryar Afridi as interior minister of State...Imran Khan wearing a black kurta shalwar also seemed tobe jumping into the iran camp no holds barred...others suggested that they might as in the past be willing to negotiate for the iranians or act as a postbox...others have pointed to new signs of the iranians restarting their nuclear enrichment process with the possible help of the pakistan army /government...they are also negotiating for a second nuclear power plant from Russia...The Turks are also speeding up the possible acquisition from Russia of a S400 ground to air missile defence system...Pakistan too might be looking for an integrated missile defence system...however others point to the Pakistan Army chiefs interest in a Patriot System after its apparent success in the saudi-yemen scenario...!
  
  
• Sep1-2018--The Maneka-Imran saga continues...According to Imran Khan police stopped the Maneka car and trained guns on them...after which several Buzdar related officials and Maneka called the police DPO Gondal to go and apologize to Maneka at his home...according to reports there are two versions...in one report the DPO asked to see the Chiefminister while in the other he was ordered to the CM office...further complications occurred than when Ashraf Gujjar a Bushra/Imran family friend was present...he is the husband of Farah a friend of Imrans stepdaughter and who recently joined the PTI ...Than a middle of the night transfer order of the DPO was issued...apparently on orders of the power behind the throne...! and there was another incident in which a maneka women was manhandled by police while on the way to the Pakpattan shrine on foot...The transfer was ordered because the DPO apparently did not deal with both cases fast enough...a reprimand should have been enough...and the involvement of all and sundry including an ISI officer was unnecessary...apparently the PTI government wants to handle issues on the basis of elitist tendencies..The SC has ordered everyone to appear individually...maneka and Tarek faisal are also ordered to appear before the court...apparently Tarik Faisal needs the approval of his superiors to appear before a court but not to issue orders to a police DPO...!The SC is looking into whether it can disqualify Ashraf Gujarr and probably the Chief Minister...
