• Jan17-2019--Conflict appears in the government position and the SC's on the ECL restrictions on sindhi fake account transactions...The SC seems frightened of sindhi leaders and suggests to the government to remove Sindh CM and Bilawal from the ECL...!
  
• Jan17-2019--Rashid Latif says that pakistan failed in south africa because of a lingering feeling of triumph in the CT...Pakistan has been doing well only because of two bowlers and fakhre zaman...all three were not in the best of form...technically there were no centurians and no five-fors...the basis of brilliance in test cricket...many feel that the absence of respect for a captain and certain ethnic/regional attitudes might be interfering in playing abilities...sarfraz many think being a pakistani wickekeeper is more of a shouter than a thinker...pakistani's give away their strategies easily and dont focus on a playing strategy for opponents key players.Pakistan have been doing badly in tests and one dayers but playing brilliantly in T-20's...Fakhre Zaman finds playing fast bouncy bowlers difficult...he should focus on playing correct cricket if his normal attitude is failing...

• Jan17-2019--CJP Nisar today becomes history...many perhaps will heave a sigh of relief at a judge who does not realize what he is doing...both the judiciary and army have been turned into one man institutions and who are constantly terrorizing the government and looking at ways and means to demean and pull the rug from under their feet...the army chief has taken over the cases of terrorists and personally gives deaths sentences and is using it as a tool to frighten unrepentant terrorist...The CJ has literally taken over administration duties and dictating who to appoint and even is taxing the people and running the SC as a dictator...That leaves governments literally bamboozled...all this started when the CJ assumed all powers in appointing and promoting judges...with nobody able to challenge the army chief and the CJP-SC... governments are literally turned into handmaidens awaiting orders and only some areas of governance left under their control...

• Jan15-2019--in what is being seen as a controversial assertion the SC allowed bail to Nawaz Sharif and co in the avenfield reference...The SC seems to err as bail is only granted when a case cannot be concluded for a long duration and not when appeals are being heard after a sentence...The IHC also should not have heard a bail plea as it was ready and willing to overturn the judgement...giving bail when the court wants to overturn the judgement in time seems unjustified as there is no bar to delay a judgement in the Avenfield case...the IHC had already declared that it had heard of all the case and was nearing a judgement...Only if the IHC and SC are clear on the fact that the case is going tobe overturned but seem to think that it will take a long time to write the judgement should bail be given...otherwise Nawaz Sharif should automatically be given bail in the second case as it is similar...The government is already preparing a Pakpattan case in case Nawaz Sharif is released...
  
• Jan15-2019--the troublemaker retiring CJP says he never crossed constitutional limits...like a previous CJP and his luxembourg holidays he and his entire family gathered for a roundtable in england...some say that his request for political asylum was rejected and Imran Khan allowed him to come back like information minister guillotine Fawad...apart from that he did everything that a good CJP does not do...he interfered in the work of all other related sectors, like the police, CIA, primeminister, budget, parliament, bailiff etc....etc...and he did not solve a single problem neither of governance or anything else...mostly he tried to force goverment compliance on administrative issues and tried to order them around...at best he changed the mindset of ministers, IGP's and CM's/PM's to appear in court...first he illegally kicked another judge of a bench that he was sitting on...he started taxing people thru a water bottle tax as well as forcibly getting people to donate for his mohmand dam fund...collecting revenues is the governments bussiness..he also wanted to invest the dam fund as well as get involved inits allocation and use...he interfered in government decision making of all sorts as well as appointments of all sorts...a suo moto on hospital waste still lies unresolved...!people are trembling at what Justice Gulzar will do a year from now...he stated that in china people are hanged for white collar crime after summary hearings and sent to concentration camps for re-education if they are muslim...he was repeating what our uneducated primitive primeminister had already said...china is not a good example where judiciary and governance are concerned!so CJP Nisar you have broken not only constitutional limits but also the constitution...all three political families Imran Khan's, Asif Bhutto Zardari's and Nawaz Sharif's have been labeled corrupt but still allowed to participate in politics and run around..with Nawaz Sharif running in and around the SC and jail after Panama surfaced...!

• Jan14-2019--despite obvious continuing power supply problems the government has put on hold a CPEC project based on imported coal...The PTI government is showing an obvious reluctance towards development projects and is going to end around 400 projects...while the people are no longer inits focus...it wants to further ease the cost of doing bussiness for exports...Exporters have already been given cheap LNG alongwith longtime rebates and duty free cotton imports...That caused also by the cotton crop failure...many feel that a second mini budget might just be another flailing attempt by asad umar who is turning into a machiavellian chakri finance minister and probably will end the first year in government as a failure...
  
• Jan13-2019--another SC judge has issued a hawwai order not explaining how he was doing it ie. on appeal or suomotu or as part of the bench...thus a three judge bench has given three differing and constrasting judgements on literally a minor matter of hospital waste...the CJP kicked Justice Isa out off the bench for challenging him...technically he was opposing the CJP and wanted no more anti Nawaz judgements being a son of a muslim leaguer...now judge mansoor ali shah says that the CJP could not do that...the CJp is retiring and will have to now kick judge shah off the bench or call all the judges to give a majority verdict...or dissolve the bench of fighting judges...!or it will be left to CJP Khosa...!
  
• Jan13-2019--Asad Umar preparing a new tax free mini budget...given his thoughts he might be further reducing the cost of gas for his friends the industrialists..!Exporters already enjoy all sorts of subsidies and repayments...this already includes any repayment of taxes on imports..Exporters technically enjoy a totally tax free status and still cant improve quality and exports...if IMF is needed than it should be done quickly not in a lazy we dont need it really...many believe that the mini budget might be implementing some IMF demands as the IMF is really not impressed by their fairness/subsidies only for billionaire exporters

• Jan9-2019--The army has only been able to build around 600 kilometers of the border fence out of 2611 kilometers despite having a huge workforce...lately there have been a few ordinary bomblasts in KP and baluchistan...so extending the army chiefs judicial powers to give death sentences after military trials seems injudicious...The PTI wants the PPP to cooperate...!many think it is time to shift the work back to the real judiciary...!

The australians have been a pretty weak test side for some time now...and without their two best batsmen steve smith(3) and david warner(6)they have become even worse...even the ordinary pakistanis were able to beat them...!a test team that is number one beating a team that is number five is an ordinary matter not really world shaking...!
  
• Jan9-2019--The ECC seems tobe a pretty incompetent body of 12-14 persons headed by an MBA type..however non of them could calculate the effect of ending a 10% tax on imported cotton...!neither could they deliberate or understand how to deal with PSM...The PSM committee is headed by an associate of Asad Umar both coming out of dawood owned companies...Imran Khan is causing considerable loss to the exchequer...first he approved a 25 billion subsidy for punjab textile mills and now he wants import taxes removed on imported cotton...approximately 4 million bales of good quality cotton have tobe imported...asad umar blamed the beaurocrats for not being prepared...a simple phone call to find out the cost of imported cotton and calculate the tax would have solved the problem...!are the other members just there for looking on and not being prepared themselves...!!! everyone should study the issue...Obviously sheikh rashid and omar ayub dont know anything about cotton and steel...!!! many think since Imran khan was in the bussiness of selling cotton madeups he is beholden to the billionaire industrialists...!maybe they gave him free pants and shirts to sell...?
  
• Jan8-2019--PIA has advertized a CEO position who is expected to have a masters in science, engineering, war course, shipping,naval, aviation, military operations, and related disciplines...work experience is mentioned as aircraft operations, aviation, aircraft acquisition, aircraft sales, reputable airline...seems that they are looking for someone of their personal choice...masters in war course, shipping, naval or military operations or experience in aircraft sales seems a dubious criteria for a job in management and running an airline

• Jan3-2019--Probably the PMLn will heave a sigh of relief when Justice Asif Saeed Khosa takes over as CJP on although Asif Saeed Khosa was involved in the first case when Nawaz Sharif was disqualified and the subsequent process initiated...However Asif Khosa than drifted into the background and CJP Nisar took over the danda...CJP Nisar turned into a part primeminister, part judge, part dambuilder and started a dam donation fund which gathered 8 billion... and part bailiff and also started issuing warnings and seeking money from the likes of Bahria Town...however the CJP doused his honesty with protecting the likes of the PP riffraff, CM sindh and Bahria Town owner Chaudhry Riaz...!and even allowed the Eden housing contractor owner to slip overseas as he was a son in law of an ex CJP...!
  
• Jan3-2019--The controversial water minister Faisal Vawda defends Mohmand dam contract and says abdul Razal dawood has nothing todo with it...he was unable to give the technical reason for the rejection of FWO and its chinese partners...Wapda is known to support Voight hydro...and probably the power minister should be answering the question since wapda comes under the power ministry. The dawoods are involved in the power sector quite a lot and own Hubco and Engro...they also own dawood hercules and have interests in many industries...he is obviously not only interested in restricting chinese domination in industry and trade...there is obviously a huge conflict of interest here and both the CJP and NAB should get involved...even if Descon has a 30% share that comes to 50 billion in the 300-500 billion contract with a seperate power generation contract...the Wapda chairman said that FWO had only completed a 10 billion project upto now...just the carpeting of the Pindi lahore motorway a FWO project cost 200 billion although Descon has been involved in building the Hub dam...i think given the FWO experience since building the karakoram highway the technical objection could have been overlooked...Given that muzammil has in the past favored Voight hydro in assigning tarbela projects there is an obvious conflict of interest in many aspects...

• Jan2-2019--The form of the pakistani captain is on the downslide as he continues to bat pathetically...opening seems tobe the key issue as well as the south africans having three good quicks...it is suggestable that sarfraz stick to wicketkeeping and step down from the captaincy...babar azam can easily take over the captaincy and play at three...There inability to play on a bouncy track was a key issue...if the wicket is bouncy in the next test they should look into playing a fast bowling alrounder...in fahim ashraf...they have only one reserve batsmen in mohd rizwan...fakhar zaman should be dropped down the order..while the three quicks have no replacement fahim ashraf could also come in for one of them...a batsman could be dropped to bring in a spinner if required or play four quicks

• Jan1-2019--while Pakistan is almost floundering in the regional wars the afghan taleban are looking for a new backer in Iran...Iran says it has met twice with the taleban in recent weeks in Kabul and Tehran...Pakistan however supports US withdrawal from afghanistan but a vacuum can only be filled by the power hungry rather than the dubious peacemakers in Pakistan...India is also worried about the US position...The US warned the Pakistan army that any war type moves could be retaliated by severe bombing runs from warships in the indian ocean..Pakistan as usual said that it has no control over its supposed proxies...
  
• Jan1-2019--The PTI showed its meanness to the public by imposing another 10 billion in petroleum taxes while reducing petrol prices by a few rupees...This is typical takeover of the economy by the unprincipled FBR...passing thru such a small amount could have shown the honesty of the PTI setup but it was not tobe...Compare this to the 25 billion in dubious price withdrawals in LPG for punjabs failing industrialists...!India if it wanted to could import everything from pakistan at half price given dollar comparisions in both countries...buying an indian product i found it priced at Rs.1150 while it cost just Rs.338 in india...!That is almost three times the price in india...!The government must be pretty desperate not to notice such price gouging..!
  
• Jan1-2019--The New Year opens with a warning by the CJP to Imran Khan not to trouble his pet crooks in Sindh...he says that the toppling in Sindh should be according to the constitution...he has obviously not read the statements by Asif Zardari, sindh CM and Bilawal Zardari...Zardari had stated that he could break up the country while the sindh CM also warned the center of dire consequences as has been done by Bilawal...with the billions that the PPP has in its fake accounts they could easily buy up the ex PPP walas in the PTI...Bilawal says that he can topple the PTI in a week...The PTI is on the other hand trying to build up Chaudhry Fawad as a pathetic hangmans noose...he has been making silly statements about who else is going tobe disqualified for ever...!
  
• Jan1-2019--The PTI cabinet has decided that all the 108 fake account crooks should be put on the ECL...this after a JIT ordered by the SC had requested it...The SC questioned the cabinets decision as unfriendly to his PPP...one wonders who else but the cabinet can make such a decision...There were rumours that Imran Khan had stated that he will not allow anyone to travel until they do his bidding...
  
• Jan1-2019--after rumours spread that Imran Khan is sending his bacha to sindh to attempt governors rule and the CJ's warning Imran Khan stopped the guillotine from going to Sindh...while attempting a forward block might be difficult governors rule for three or six months could be enforced going by the Zardari statements of breaking up Pakistan and Sindh CM's statements of acrimony and non cooperation...This could also be seen in the light of the killing of Mqm's Raza Abdi who was a key opponent of Asif Zardari...The PTI could use that to force governors rule..
