• Oct15-2019--the review applications of the TLP judgement which had asked the army chiefs to try military personnel for treason when they did not follow their oaths were the topic at the SJC appeal hearing...Justice Bandial said that Justice Isa would hear the reviews and they had been pending for seven months...the reviews suggest that Justice Isa change the language he used against the ISI and military...technically the TLP cases did not encompass any matter of military personnel not following their oaths...the ISI suggested that they were following acknowledged counter terrorism methods...the Isa counsel said that the flats in question were three in number in the name of Judge Isa's wife while one had been purchased in 2004 and two in 2013...it is becoming a case similar to the Nawaz Sharif case...while upto now no government evidence as to corruption has been provided...technically the SJC is not subordinate of SC hearings or decisions as it is a seperate forum and there is no mention of the TLP case in the SJC reference
  
• Oct15-2019--there have been a record 30000 dengue cases this year...the government is saying that only 47 have died compared to 370 in 2011..dengue mosquitoes have surged this year or been re introduced into the country...the key problem is that the government did not start fumigation at the right time and even now only occasional places are being fumigated..researchers say that the dengue mosquito was first observed in 1994 in pakistan...many donot believe that imported tires contained the mosquito...

• Oct14-2019--without any preparation on issues the pakistani premier has landed in Iran to mediate saudi-iran and US-iran issues...he apparently got a straight no and now says he has asked them to meet in pakistan to sort out their problems...The iranians who do not run from a fight seem to enjoy bashing the arabs...
  
• Oct14-2019--Qazi faez isa is responding to the SJC with propaganda suggesting that his criticism of the ISI has caused this problem...the SJC might have to call his family to testify and provide a money trail if they are really independent of him..Qazi should know that he should provide a clear cut answer as the primeminister is not under trial...if he thinks that the government has tracked or investigated his family than he might find that the government came about the evidence coincidentally rather than by investigation...if he says he has nothing todo with the properties than the SJC may order a direct investigation as they have in other high level corruption inquiries

• Oct9-2019--India takes delivery of its first 4th generation Rafales...India ordered 136 in 2012 and than cancelled the contract in 2016 and ordered 36..India generally keeps its better aircraft away from the border...however it now will supposedly station the Rafales in Ambala and Hasimara in west Bengal...India feels that the Rafales will be better able to handle conflicts with pakistans F-16/JF17...
  
• Oct9-2019--The pakistani T20 team in a do or die situation...with supposedly no adequate replacements they will have to step up and bat...a key replacement could be Mohd Rizwan for Sarfraz...Misbah seems to have no new ideas and while he quotes the PSL he does not remember the one day world cup at all...his thinking is a continuation of the slow and steady nature of Inzamam
  
• Oct9-2019--like Donald Trump..Imran Khan wants chinese advice on how to jail 500 supposedly corrupt people...The chinese donot mince words and whether it is a general or beaurocrat they go to the gallows...
  
• Oct9-2019--with all decisions still being made at the top there is no way that Imran Khan can tackle corruption...he has already stopped NAB from tackling corruption within the PTI and amongst bussinessmen/army...he wants to just put 500 opposition politicians in jail...most slow decisions and red tapism is caused by the slow moving Imran Khan...first he could not control inflation and his only answer is a dal roti langar for a few hundred people in islamabad...!upto now he has only started a case of corruption against a Supreme Court judge...given his inability to fight corruption pakistan must be a very honest country...they have already agreed that there is no wealth hidden abroad...he also has fallen back on older CPEC projects as the countries development at all levels has slowed to a crawl...the only projects that he has up his sleeve are the ML1, bunji dam and karachi circular railway...Pakistan just has the chinese up their sleeves...no where else to go for funds and contracts
  
• Oct8-2019--Imran Khan says that setting up an Ehsas Langar is a key success of his government...he now says that his government not expected to provide any specific change...his imaginary state of madina also apparently did not succeed in a day...
  
• Oct7-2019--while the Rs.200(apparently reduced to Rs.190 billion) billion Ehsas program can be regarded as a major failure since no specific social security objective is even being partially addressed..The Insaf health card has apparently been given to around 3-4% of the populace most of whom donot even qualify eg. lawyers/punjab employees...!the PTI is now touting it as a major success while if it is a federal health program it should be applicable to all provinces equally and there should be a proper mechanism/criteria for the population to get it...at the moment the card is being given on the whims of a few people...many feel that small business loans and education scholarships especially to undergraduates should be a seperate system...the constitution suggests that education upto intermediate should be free...That aspect has not been addressed in any way...
  
• Oct7-2019--NAB wont probe tax evasion and bank default cases which are regarded as the most basic of corruption cases...
  
• Oct7-2019--Pakistan to offer Steel Mill to China like Gawadar...some more infrastructure projects and no taxation in Gawadar also being offered...pakistan which is still facing power capacity problems in summer has to almost shutdown half the capacity in winter...The government should reduce electricity tariffs in a major way
  
• Oct6-2019--in what can be dubbed a major Imran Khan failure pakistan loses first T20 against Sri Lanka...a revamped sri lanka side literally buldozed the sarfraz led team...In a strange selection two former failures akmal and shezad were included who got out as if they did not know anything about cricket...many think it was an ideal time to try out a new skipper as sarfraz's batting talents seem tobe withering with each match...!four alrounders who can barely bat seem to add to the problems...
  
• Oct5-2019--maulana fazlur rehman's dharna still in doubt as the PMLn and PPP not too much street minded...many doubt Imran Khans religious credentials now with his needless continuation of the army chief...many regard the PTI tobe religiously close to ahmedis and sikhs...and frightened of a war in kashmir...on the one hand they wont talk to Modi but are going on with kartarpura...they also like to puff and preen...The taleban had already stated that they had no problems with negotiations but the PTI still tried to take credit for the taleban-envoy meeting...Imran Khan seems to be unable to handle the PSM which his advisors are already planning to sell but he wants it tobe revived...the steel mill is technically a white elephants as it is fed imported iron ore and its production is technically more expensive than direct imports...It should basically be sold and his conniving dawoods would willingly swallow it as they have other entities like Hubco and Engro...!

• Oct3-2019--In what can be considered one of the PTI's most pathetic decisions the government has allowed Discos to increase electricity prices by another Rs2.31...Nepra clarified that there are no reasons for increasing the electricity prices and prices have been increased on the demand of Imran Khan to satisfy his coterie of IMF advisors...Discos buy electricity at Rs.5 and sell it at Rs25 plus tax...a whopping differential of 500%...one can hardly imagine such losses...the prices have been increased just on the perception of financial problems in the power sector...The Rs.5 price is calculated taking into consideration all losses and fuel costs...?The government stupid as it is shifts all losses on to a small domestic sector and benefits the rich tabqa of the armed forces, industrial and agricultural customers...the domestic sector that will suffer is a portion that uses over 300 units per month...domestic users only use around 30% of electricity and have had to suffer the governments myopic policies in tariffs

• Oct2-2019--PTI is unable to find a logical reason to increase the electricity tariff...the IMF wants it so the PTI is trying to get the increases in bits and pieces...the reasoning is that the government refuses to pay the fuel bills...while the power stations also refuse to pay the bills and so on...
