Sep14-2021--The Taliban may have killed four counter terrorist operatives who possibly informed the USA of a possible car bomb attack on the airport...however the person now seems tobe an NGO worker...at least eight or nine were apparently killed in the strike including several children...the suggestion of several explosions also seems tobe false...reports suggest that the person was loading empty water cartons onto his vehicle...Usually a strike is ordered by some CIA operative in Langley and the cameras many say are usually quite good and clear...many others suggest that the drone strike may have been carried out by Pakistanis as there is no other way a drone could be flying overhead in Kabul...

Sep11-2021--The USA has removed patriot missile batteries and a Thad system from a base near Riyadh...the base is now empty and many say represents a further pullout from the region...the Saudis have pulled back substantially from militant groups and are regarded as weak in many areas of defense...many say in comparison to the afghan pullout it is a greater strategic shift and pandering to Iranian interests...The USA did not react to the Iranian downing of a civilian airplane and missile attacks on its base in Iraq as also Iranian attacks in the Persian gulf and Saudia..many suggest that the missile defense may have been a defense against Israel who is now regarded as friendly by the gulf Arabs...the batteries could have been shifted to other positions but that has not been suggested...missiles/drones have been getting thru the Saudi defenses...others suggest that the defenses may have been shifted to strategic areas around Afghanistan and Iran the two things that have created problems for the USA...Saudi is a mild power and their attempts to beat up a local bully/Shiite group have floundered as Iran peppered them with missiles and drones...Saudis attempts at building their own missiles has not really taken off...!many suggest that the Saudis too should move to get missiles from North Korea …their new cruise missile could solve all their problems...defensive patriot batteries have to be integrated with offensive weaponry...other countries only take into consideration offensive weaponry which subdues them if they know that they are going to fireback ...!

Sep10-2021--As the Taliban takeover of Afghanistan furor is toned down by western governments who had unleashed a nasty and ugly (fear)propaganda war...British had pilloried Biden but their own ministers and military commanders were shown tobe uninformed and seemingly unaware of the drawdown of US forces gradually over the last few years...The USA retaliated and said that the gates were kept open on British insistence which allowed the suicide bombers to walk in to Kabul airport...!The Taliban have cracked down on security threatening demos and said that strict enforcement of no demos will be observed...!The lameness of Pakistan in the situation looks pathetic and they urged the world not to enforce economic sanctions and invited the Taliban to a six member lameduck neighbours conference...The Taliban urged the USA to follow the agreement and withdraw terrorist designations/ sanctions from their senior leadership....

Sep7-2021--The Taliban announced a government that does not include outside figures but might have the support of the former rulers...a 33 member cabinet as announced...Sirajuddin Haqqani comes in as acting interior minister...The head of the government is a little known Mullah Mohd Hasan Akhund ...who was the head of the Taliban leadership council with Baradar as his deputy...Hasan probably a relative of Baradar although most seem tobe from Kandahar apart from the pakistani group of the haqqanis...!hasan probably an ally of mullah haibatullah...The parties supreme leader Mullah haibutullah has not been mentioned and could have retired although a statement attributed to him says the government will be expected to enforce sharia...mullah yaqoob as defence minister, abdul salam hanafi is the second deputy primeminister...amir khan muttaqi acting foreign minister..hedyatullah badri acting finance minister, din muhammed as acting economy minister, mohd edris as acting governor of the State bank...this is a small team with three dealing with the economy...the top leadership will now probably work to make other appointments...Sirajuddin Haqqani who demonstrated that he has a large following will probably have the work cutout for him...the economic team will try to get their funds released from the USA...since the titles include acting they could be interchanged or given other positions as the system develops...The mullahs seem to still be unable to deal with a women minister or women in general preferring to keep women largely segregated...the western governments are realising that if they donot ease up than they will have problems in dealing with afghanistan...it is not a matter of recognizing the taliban but a diplomatic presence can sort things more easily...working say thru pakistan and qatar is not difficult but it will only delay things...as for their main concern ie international terrorism it will be controlled harshly by the taliban otherwise things will start to deteriorate internally for them...they themselves cannot allow smaller centers of power to emerge..The thing about the taliban asto how much they can change...not much many say but instead of dealing everything with the gun they will have to use the media and words more so that the afghans can become more comfortable and can come to work at least...!starting a judiciary that deals with most aberrations in public life would show how the judges handle things...it should not be either the bullet or the noose for everything...

Sep7-2021--the strange T20 squad announced by mohd wasim seems tobe according to rumours the pathetic crookish Ramiz Raja's first and many say quite the worst attempt...apart from baber azam and mohd rizwan and lets say five fast bowlers...they are literally bits and pieces players...although shadab and imad have played well recently...i dont know who will play at three and four since most are lower order batters...mohd hafeez is a bit lacking in recent outings as his bowling is not tobe used/suspect...and a first azam khan who was a complete failure on the recent tour has sprung a surprise as a reserve wickekeeper...i think he played as a wicketkeeper for some sri lankan IPL side... fakhar has been left out as a reserve and is probably better than most of the side including probably the three spinners...sohaib masoud or shadab khan or khushdil shah will probably come at number three and mohd hafeez at four...none of the other middle order players inspire any confidence...khushdil khan has never performed yet on national duty and could be a number three slot debutante or number five...hafeez at four and sohaib at five...there are one of three or four players at seven if shadab comes at six...and you can play a strange mix of spinners of shadab, mohd nawaz or imad wasim...probably shadab, imad and three of the five fast bowlers will play..!they probably have mohd asif, mohd nawaz , azam khan, sohaib masoud as utility players...it seems as if some oldtimer has risen from the grave to select this team...!..they probably could not find somebody better than azam khan to represent Karachi...only moin khan would select azam khan as a reserve wickekeeper...misbah and waqar generally regarded as failures have resigned and razzak and saqlain have taken over..mohd wasim many say should take the advice of the KP coach with a pinch of salt...

Sep5-2021--Nineteen members of the terrorist group al Qaeda boarded and hijacked planes that were used in attacks on New York City, Pennsylvania and the Pentagon. About 3,000 people were killed that day. 9/11 as it is called caused the US/nato to invade afghanistan...the taliban could not resist the invasion given that their fighting capability was on a lower scale...most of the top militants were captured and incarcerated in Guatanamo...however mullah omar and ossama escaped...it was only after the USA eliminated Osamma that their courage to leave afghanistan emerged...while the USA seemingly setout to create another Japan or Germany...it was however not like the end of second world war and there was no subjugated Japan or Germany to handle...the US experience of the second world war did not work and a relatively small guerrilla group with national aspirations fought them to a standstill over twenty years...
It must be remembered that none of the 9/11 participants were afghan and their leader was egyptian and the Taliban say osamma ben laden had nothing todo with them...usually individual groups carried out terrorism and than swore loyalty to Isis or alqaeda...one or two of the participants received training in afghan training camps set up by the USA...however some say that the participants were training as pilots or had received training as pilots...it must also be said that US airports did not have the required security measures in place
That still remains the main US concern...planning such a thing should technically/mentally be impossible...

Sep4-2021--As the NCOC and asad umar wary of the anti people and business friendly Imran alias thief and their total failure in controlling covid infections have announced more covid restrictions for 24 districts in KP and Punjab...The governments covid policy is failing to reduce cases and cases are in the range of 4000 daily...unless they announce a widespread countrywide lockdown the up and down situation or the to and fro covid will not end in Pakistan...there seems to be no objection to vaccines with a million being injected daily and the governments restrictions such as no petrol for non vaccinated or train/air travel seem pointless...
Sep4-2021--Pakistan's policy on Afghanistan is the butt of jokes these days as the inclusive oriented foreign minister has fallen to say they will work with whoever is in power in Kabul.. earlier he had told the British foreign minister that they too should have an inclusive government and give five ministries to Labour... laughing he retorted that they too should give twelve ministries to the PMLn and PPP...!shah mahmud a shiite type is worried about the Hazara's who might start to migrate to baluchistan...the government has however closed Chaman to stop such an inflow...given that hazara's have problems in baluchistan too...Qatar says it is working to create more human bridges to encourage afghan outflows however Europe and the USA don't want anymore afghan migrants...Biden says he will not invade huge countries in the middle east like afghanistan anymore and might only try to intimidate small countries like panama, cuba and Haiti...!many suggest that Biden should end bases in japan, Uk and Italy and dissolve Nato in that case...that only leaves Iran and countries like Syria as problems for him...
Sep3-2021--reports suggest that mullah baradar could be heading the afghan government under the overall control of mullah akhunzada..mullah yaqoob and abbas stanikzai would be his key confidents...according to other reports no solution was found to including people like abdullah abdullah and karzai...it is possible that some associates of previous governments with a positive attitude might get in...women too are attempting to get a participating cabinet position or at least being consulted...!The Taliban willing to consult everyone...the hazaras or shiites seem tobe their key opponents...Najibullah a hazara who ruled afghanistan during the russian intervention was hanged by the Taliban...the fears are mostly being expressed by western opponents or those living in the west...as well as by naive western governments...!

Pakistan too would be very interested for their Turkmen gas pipeline while the Chinese would be interested in copper and lithium deposits... however the Pakistanis are emphasizing their links to the west and are uneasy with the Taliban as they have no Shiite basis...however things are slowly improving with Ariana starting domestic flights and Afghanistan working with Qatar to restart the Kabul airport...and remmittances starting to come in...
Sep3-2021--The british despite having huge experience in accommodating preferred people from states becoming independent...seem to have incompetent defence/foreign ministers who have no idea about the situation in afghanistan...it is like the pathetically ill informed pakistani foreign minister who says that if the west does not engage afghanistan it will to fall into a ethnic war...afghanistan has never been ethnically at war...historically kings and rulers have only had problems with the hazaras who were mostly in the intelligence deptts at the beginning of communist rule...one king apparently invaded hazara areas and severed the head of their leader and brought it to kabul...the women of kabul have had it tough though...in the rule of zahir shah they used to wear skirts...!and that is not too long ago...it was similar to iran under the shah when iranian women too wore skirts,...
Sep2-2021--Maryam Nawaz says that the PTI planning to rig 2023 elections...many others say that the EVMs can be rigged and put in place...still others say all the EVM's must be under the ECP and not under the PTI...otherwise they will distribute EVM's to their workers who can rig or stuff them with votes...!all you need is the interface to enter voters lists...The EVMs could be very difficult to manage if only constituency votes are tobe entered...an EVM for Rawalpindi could end up in Lahore...it is not like an empty ballot box...!if an EVM is smashed or becomes unworkable how fast canit be replaced or will the election be postponed until a spare is available...!these are things that the ECP has to decide and be ready to implement...!looking similar the EVM's could be replaced with rigged ones by the chakri PTI...
Sep2-2021--Europe seems to want its own armed force to intervene in places like Afghanistan...some european nations think that they can behave like autocratic meddlesome military interventionists...for the first they should get rid of Nato and USA airbases...and a 5000 man force can not do much...the USA could handle it because the Taliban were passive almost otherwise if it was a real conflict zone nobody could either have intervened or even evacuated people...if Europe and the USA had created afghans who would look after afghanistan than the situation might have been different...instead they created afghans who wanted to run home with them rather than stay in their country...The europeans must realize that developing a mentality to intervene wherever there is trouble will cause problems everywhere and they must realize from Afghanistan that they have to deal with a situation and literally run home...or at best bomb and retreat ...one can assure europe and even the USA that most interventions are like syria and iraq and yemen...afghanistan if you just look at the deaths on all sides was a very big failure...the europeans thought that it was just about evacuating and you can fly into any airport and occupy it...the USA has been drawing down it forces for several years and the british in particular did not notice it in their fighting in Helmand...or might be it was Brexit that caused their eyes tobe closed...
Sep1-2021--Shahbaz Sharif presents the idea of a national government after they win the next election...while working with the PTI seems an impossibility...the PMLn could form a national government with the PPP and ethnic groups in KP and Baluchistan...to win they will have to make some effort in KP, Baluchistan and Sindh.. Going into the next election the PMLn must not raise needless controversies and keep a focus on getting the votes into the right ballot box...if the PTI distributes EVM's to its workers any election can be stolen with votes having already been entered into the machines...
