Sept9-2025--talks about an agriculture emergency and billions of losses by childish opponents of kalabagh dam are out of proportion...not many agriculture products growing in this period as is shown anywhere in the floods and kutcha area images...sugarcane, maize and rice can withstand rain and are not grown near rivers...cotton too is not in the flowering stage and thus wont be too damaged...the losses would at best be around 10% of that grown in flood effected areas which is not really the main growing area of these crops...people near rivers are small farmers mostly and more dependent on cattle such as buffalos, goats and chickens...the government should get Engro, nestle and other bigger landlords to handle some of the relief work... however the losses in cattle will have tobe enumerated as will damages to houses...roads, bridges etc. are the government's responsibility anyway...infrastructure damage in Kp and GB should be quickly attended to...government should look into allocating initially upto a million for each family for infrastructure damage after study of losses...the Punjab government also allocating a million for each death...anyway construction workers probably should benefit from the increased work...
Sept7-2025--water in flooded rivers moves downstream with some rivers in Punjab still heavily flooded at places...rain continues in September, and clouds suggest heavy rains and river flooding in lower Sindh...most urban areas are prepared somewhat for flooding although rural areas are not...riverine people don't even prepare by keeping boats and having pickups for escape...things that are coming into view is how bunds donot take into account river flooding and are built right in the rivers path...rural villages keep trying to occupy river space by expanding into the rivers path...temporary construction visibly suggests that if things like floods don't hamper them they will built permanent structures around them...bunds should be shifted to encompass the floods in specific areas...even housing societies are seen tobe building in river space...things like empty canals should be built to drain water in floods...these things have tobe studied as floods create problems in the food supply chain and create human sufferings/problems...during this period things like cotton, sugarcane, maize and rice are grown...while cattle are also the mainstay of villagers...just widening the river bed by shifting bunds could mitigate a lot of problems. In Punjab breaching bunds is a common tactic to save infrastructure and cities from flooding rivers which points to the problem that bund's location is not correct and flooding agriculture lands is a preferable less problematic tactic...many say that Imran's father designed the bunds badly so that people could suffer...

Sept6--2025--Shabana Mahmood emerges as the new home secretary in a new England government shakeup as loudmouth leftwinger populist Angela Rayner resigns...SM should realize that Mirpur is now a completely different place, and they have probably better businesses and homes than corner shops in England...however migration policies have run aground in England as did other problem areas like economics, foreign affairs, housing, pensions etc...Starmer ropes in a Columbia university president fired after Gaza protests as economics advisor...he also brings in David Lammy to handle deputy prime minister and keep foreign affairs closer to his views with supposedly diplomatic Yvette Cooper...apparently Yvette close to stopping dinghies from the French coast after getting French cooperation...Keir probably now has a closer/stronger group in key ministries to-do battle with the supposedly peaking too early -- popular and energetic Faraj should elections have tobe announced...he keeps economics chancellor in place suggesting that he did not know what to-do about economics or her...they will have to come up with popular or even more populist policies by November...with his new men he will have to also bring some change with policies so that they donot always blow up in his face...he will probably now give the extreme right wing Faraj party leading in the polls a better run for their money...Shabana Mahmood should be able to explain that they are not giving a free for all to Chinese boat migrants and giving them hotel accommodation is not a waste of money or luxury...while keeping human rights in view with a straight face...and treat Gaza protestors better than the idiotic Israelis...everyone can bomb a defenseless people and that is not bravery...!

Punjab government should help people living along rivers to acquire boats or Baira's or even pickup vehicles so that they can escape from floods earlier...having equipment around like ropes and everyone learning to swim could also help ease problems...
Sept6-2025--Justice Athar Minallah who was made a judge by a military dictator seems to have little knowledge of dictatorship, democracy or hybrid governance...he was probably a child in the Zulfikar Bhutto era...Bhutto was one of the best-known examples of dictatorship and according to most people he ordered his FSF chief to murder a political opponent...at best the judiciary has saved Pakistan from a lot of problems...obviously the judge knows little about development of democracy and what to say about hybrid governments...the word hybrid suggests a partnership or working together and many think there has tobe support from the judiciary and the military for any government to work...the judiciary and military can create unnecessary problems and have to work together...The government works to at best have a supportable leadership in the military and judiciary and there is only one politico a generally military supported person who has suggested a hybrid government...Khawaja Asif is the son of a national assembly speaker in the Ayub khan era...many think judges should focus on judicial duties rather than politics, parliamentary amendments etc... writing letters to each other is hardly their duty...it would be much easier to buttonhole the CJP when he comes out of his office...!
