Jul12-2009--the government continues to follow teh same old policy of dictators to tax teh peopel into subjugation...After increasing electricity prices by a hefty 70% it still claims that it is subsidizing electricity...It now wants us to believe that teh IMF not parliament not people not government but teh IMF allows a six month continuation of electricity prices at teh present level...If the IMF, the WB and government wont allow it why should people subsidize electricity to teh poor...teh government should have its head examined if it thinks that such poppycock economics is something that according to Gilani is the best that he can do......if tax money cannot be used to ease peoples woes than there is no point left in government...one doesn't think that teh government has any real development policy which could be of interest to teh people and therefore if taxation cannot be used to reduce electricity and petroleum prices than the government should go home...what is it better at than the crazies at teh finance ministry...on the PDL/carbon tax another useless extortion like teh 16% sales tax on electricity teh government has no answer..apparently the PPP has advised its members to shut up and play dumb.....it cant even say that we are taxing petroleum to reduce its use...given the hike in prices of literally everything of upto 200% one fails to understand what teh goverment is upto...

Jul12-2009--something new has happened..gilani says the local government legislation has lapsed or dropped out of teh constitution...many had suggested that appointing administrators was illegal as only elected people can run LG's..and now teh provinces can do whatever they want in teh field...many suggest that the punjab was worried taht teh PMLq bosses would use the LG powers to corner teh next elections and only beurocrats could help them win...many suggest that teh chief ministers want local government control in their hands too so that they can be seen to be teh provincial bosses...

Jul12-2009--Carl Levine Of teh US armed forces senate committee objects to criticism of teh USA for using drones...which he says that  pakistan tacitly accepts or condones...the USA should seek greater participative cooperation or allow pakistan to itself use the drones.. where needed pakistan has teh airpower and has used it in swat, malakand, buner and Fata...killing civilians seems tobe normal to teh uSA since they are not americans...now teh americans want us to believe  that they were not telling us to go after teh taleban to ease their troubles in afghanistan...their policy now is  kill them its good for u...?
