The Daily Pakistan Politics--Sep3-4, 2009
Sep03-2009--In what some say is saudi interference...while others say are saudi attempts to keep teh peace more in the terrorism related field than any other...when musharaf left after being theoretically kicked out it was said that he could participate in politics after two years but now that seems impossible and he wants to avoid teh judicial attacks on his military rule which could suppress him for years if not the rest of his life...others say that the recent terror attacks in pakistan, saudia and afghanistan might have caused teh saudis to realize that musharaf might be behind them..the new taleban chief has started another round of terror attacks and many suggest that musharaf might still be in control of the network in india...many suggest that teh saudis who study pakistans governance may not like teh PPP style of literally creating problems for teh people day in and day out and might be looking for a knight in shining armour as a stop gap measure if they can foment a coup...?others suggest that teh saudis also might have a soft corner for teh taleban who have been clobbered by the PPP regime...Sep03-2009--LHC suspends its order lifting curbs on AQ Khan as teh government is swayed again by meaningless american concerns..Sep03-2009--Nawaz Sharif backs out of confrontation again and suggests that the PPP scrap teh 17th amendment as a first step...he says if teh saudis have any concerns about musharaf he will hear about them when he goes for umrah otherwise advising against saudi interference..Sep03-2009--In islamabad two motorcycle terrorists struck by firing at the religious ministers car killing his driver and injuring two others as he left office...religious minister quite brave as he has no security and even teh office is in an open place...the office is quite near the ISI office and a kalashnikov was recovered from outside teh ISI office...as well as two from the place of teh incidentSep03-2009--16 militants killed in Bara operationSep03-2009--Yasin malik says that gilgit and baltistan were part of azad kashmir under teh constitutionSep03-2009--Nawaz Sharif says that problems cannot be solved by changing governments...in teh present instance that seems true as the PPP is unable to solve any issue..many suggest that the PMLn should at least raise and discuss with teh government peoples concerns since constitutional changes seem difficult for teh docile dual natured PPP...Sep03-2009--two militants killed in swat...Sep03-2009--the JI wants talkative former intelligence officers apprehended...especially those that were behind teh jinnahpur mqm consiracy...(the mqm many say was formed by the interior ministry in zia's times (as was the afghan taleban) to subdue the PPP which it did adequately until benazir reconciled with an ill altaf...)they also say that teh US bought 18 acres of land in teh diplomatic enclave for just one billion for a marine house..pakistan they say should avoid american contract security firms like Blackwater...Sep03-2009--PPP minister in sindh accused of selling jobs while teh primeminister many say wants 15 million from his wife to have her loans written off...
