Sep8-2009--The pakistan army has backed out of creating cantonments in kohlu and dera bugti which are at best residential colonies for faujis in any area...sindhis and baloch are known to oppose pakistan army cantonments which number 54 in teh rest of teh country...creating different rules for different areas is at best a policy of divide and rule...teh government of teh PPP which previously was known for its committment to teh peopel has this time around joined in with imperialist thinking industrialists and agricultural landlords to crush teh peoples will thru price hikes, tax hikes and seperate thinking for seperate areas...teh policies are apparent in the cruel price hikes, different polices for karachi and the northwest and the facile reforms in teh fata and the northern areas...while they pamper one they kill another...the bugti son jamil bugti had come out strongly against cantonments although what difference that will make is unclear...the pakistan army has shown itself capable enough to work in remote areas with small logistic bases..a thinking which has developed since east pakistan and with small to sometimes lethal trouble making rabble rousers..there seems no clear cut policy on balochistan with even teh PPP chief minister advocating a semi independent state...baloch liberationists have a policy of armed conflict in which they attack other pakistani ethnic groups and create a sense of anarchy but teh situation in teh region leaves them no support and they have little public backing...teh government as has been pakistans policy follows a generalized theme of allowing such movements to play themselves out...with teh government refusing tobe pushed to extreme solutions and the liberationists continuing to create tensions

Sep8-2009--dawn reports suggest that teh PMLn preparing for elections...with the PPP having sold out on all issues whether political or otherwise teh PMLn demanded that one extreme only not be listened to on renaming nwfp...nwfp which has a diverse language base with at least two main parties supporting the name pukhtunwa while others like the PMLn with a base in hazara suggesting a neutral name..The ANP suggests a referendum on a third time primeministership also which could be a good idea as the PPP which has little decisive powers would be able to defer another issue rather than talk it out ..The PMLn is generally only talking on political issues generally avoiding people intensive issues such as price hikes even though they are now considered more populist than the PPP
