• Oct25-2009--american experts say power generation price in pakistan much higher than in teh USA...state sector should be encouraged which can producer cheaper electricity...as usual they supposedly suggest end of subsidies and losses which are just fake...circular debt reduction only possible by nationalisation and possibly allowing generating companies to import their own fuel...seperate furnace oil facility or company could possibly better handle the problem...the government should make cheaper financing and development funds available to the private sector and reduce purchase prices and end all taxes on power generation and transmission...needless division of the state power sector also causing problems...another possible solution is to create smaller area distribution companies which can/may manage things better...consolidation needed into one entity...further privatisation will just increase costs further...one price for all another solution...
• Oct25-2009--pakistans bunker mentality which creates security only for top officials now emerges from behind teh walls with bunkers emerging outside schools and colleges which some say were the initial hotbeds for the taleban terrorists...initially there were barbed wires...than iron gates and walls and now armed guards and bunkers...even some buildings have guards who scan people as they enter...the only option is to stop intercity travel via motorcycles and check every car with more than one person on board
