- Oct27-2009--The salaries of 22000 FC men doubled...while the rest of the country is plagued with the governments price hikes the men in teh police and the army at least enjoy two salaries a month...peshawar based it has 25 platoons in islamabad, 39 platoons in karachi, 12 in gilgit, 34 for multinational companies...it also deals with fata and balochistan problems...one is unable to understand why there are no provincial FC's...
- Oct27-2009--with terrorism continuing to spread even to teh countries generally conservative universities the meeting of nawaz sharif and the PPP co- chairman failed says teh dawn...target killings of a brigadier and balochistan minister in the backdrop of terrorist attacks on the GHQ and islamic university donot rule out the hatchet wielded by either afghan supported taleban or teh sindhi ethnic-rural mafiosi...many blame it on motorcycle killers of sindhi or sectarian origin...the meeting many see in teh context of a kayani-shabaz meeting which may have caused teh PMLn to back off from the NRO but they pressed for an eighteenth amendment which teh PPP is delaying for teh acceptance of unrealistic and unnecessary demands...provincial autonomy seen in the present day scenario of a weak and uninterested president and primeminister is almost illogical given teh situation which has developed in fata the only autonomous region in pakistan...the PPP many say is continuing to delay local bodies elections which may determine its future mandate...thus also causing dismay in much of teh country due to teh provincial and federal governments lack of uniformity in area governance...PMLq sources say that the NRO was a joint unilateral proposal from the PMLq and musharaf as a general fight over individual corruption leaves many governments with a hatchet over their heads and on the verge of always being toppled...others suggest that asif zardari would be better off with a prime minister like nawaz sharif who has had an unmatched run of popularity despite PPP attacks on the PMLn's integrity...the PPP on the other hand has suffered as its credibility was ruined by a lacklustre anti people attitude, accusations of corruption, mismanagement of the power issue and unnecessary price hikes...sindhi domination has also caused problems with the PPP heirarchy unable to focus on any real problems in other provinces...despite spending of over Rs.60 billion by the federal government and at least a similar amount by the provincial governments no development is visible...further causing unnecesary strife and worry...
- Oct27-2009--The shiite led pakistani and iranian governments blind to their own attitudes and handling of issues blame foreign meddling in sectarianism for problems in this muslim region spreading from iraq to pakistan...sectarianism is mostly blamed on governance and handling of religious issues and foreign interests obviously will use it when they openly meddle in other issues pertaining to regional security which countries like iran and pakistan remain blind too...
- Oct27-2009--while the BLA claims the killing of a baloch minister many blame sindhi control freaks who front as politicians who want to control balochistan...chief minister comes out in support of terrorised baloch communities...many however rumour that the minister may have been a hatchet job for sectarianists, religious fanatics, terrorists or have been gunned down just for cooperating with punjab...others rumour iranian interference or involvement in teh murder of another minister...still others say taleban and BLA might be gunning down possible ISI officials
- Oct27-2009--11 iranian border guards after intruding four kilometers into pakistani territory...than handed back to teh iranian authorities..
- Oct27-2009--troops in south waziristan lose six soldiers killing 19 militants as they move towards sararogha another militant base...army moving into south waziristan from three directions...
- Oct27-2009--nine militants and four soldiers killed in bajaur
- Oct27-2009--sixteen militants killed in FC operation in Hangu
- Oct27-2009--ISI blocks sharahe suhrawardy and access to the CDA head office in islamabad...i think the land in the margalla hills given to them was an appropriate choice for an ISI office...maybe teh ISI office should be shifted to some place like the GHQ as it apparently seems to be using the building just for office space
- Oct26-2009--balochistan minister of education shot dead in quetta
- Oct26-2009--twenty three terrorists killed as military advanced into south waziristan
