Nov2-2009--pakistan who is unable to control its tribal militants suggests that the US seek its input onits new afghan strategy being regionally knowledgeable...pakistan which at one time was teh closest to Mullah Omer has been stuck in a quagmire where its tribal militants have turned against it...at one time the militants only politically opposed pakistans US controlled friendship but as pakistan gradually gave up its pro taleban stance as they could not reemerge in afghanistan nor could teh US subdue them totally...the pakistani taleban started to fight back first trying to intimidate a US ally..than in retaliation for the lal masjid fiasco and later just in total opposition to the pakistani government which has resulted in the recent times of almost daily suicide attacks as teh military clears up one area after another......now no one knows what the fight is all about whether shariah enforcement, support of afghan taleban or just fighting teh pakistan army and government...

Nov2-2009--as usual the PPP attempts to fight down teh NRO scandal after rather than before...The NRO has allowed teh PPP to survive in government as all its top leadership was involved in various cases and many suggest that the PPP would not have survived had there been a deluge of reports of their court cases..basically it is just a matter of withdrawing cases which any government can do...however to make it a political issue the military regime issued an ordnance which has tobe approved by parliament on teh instructions of teh SC

Nov2-2009--pakistan army moves into a tough phase of its south waziristan offensive...as street to street fighting continues in kaniguram a base for upto eight hundred militants.. teh army moves towards sararogha and makin centers of teh taleban movement in teh area...heavy bombings and targeted ground strikes are clearing resistance as they move towards the taleban nerve centers...

Nov2-2009--taleban destroy a whole village in teh shahu khel area of hangu possibly on sectarian grounds

Nov2-2009--girls high school blownup in bara area as military camp comes under rocket attack...the orakzai-darra adamkhel area will have to be cleared of militants...teh military has been hesitating to move into the area

Nov2-2009--JI accuses india and teh US of orchestrating the attack on the GHQ as reports suggest that pakistan involved in selecting drone targets while another report suggests that US also does pakistans anti terrorism planning and Obama considering a change in strategy

Nov1-2009--In what can only amount to kicking democracy in teh butt Yusuf Raza Gilani agreed to pay 110 billion to teh NWFP for hydel royalty arrears...parliament obviously can go to hell as can teh budget which contained no such provision...government has been unable to explain how such arrears were created especially when royalty supposedly a 1-2% amount cannot be given when the power station is paying its debt...obviously the government has no revenue problems when it can pay 10 billion without even budgetary approval..

Oct30-2009--Hilary Clinton whose agenda apparently designed by her love for india rather than pakistan seems unable to convince many with her supposedly soft approach and hardline mind...she apparently also found fault with pakistan handling its own security problems...we obviously cant deal with internal problems of other countries in the region and half way around the world who should deal with their own issues rather than blame pakistan

Oct30-2009--manmohan singh continues to talk nonsense...he now says they have no preconditions but there will be no results of any talks...india has never conducted real talks with any sincerity and has yet to implement agreements signed twenty years ago...pakistan many suggest should make its objectives clear to india rather than meander on in a meaningless relationship of forced talks
