- Apr13-2010--In what looks like a new PPP motto...blind yourself to every situation until it turns ugly...The controversial 18th amendment that literally destroys the federal state and enhances regionalism to the detriment of the belief in one country and one soul went sour as the building demos of animosity to khyber pukhtunwa in the hazara belt caused the loss of five people as demonstrators attacked a police station and the resultant firing...the PPP and ANP which are both pretty dumb politically saw the situation develop with strikes and road blocks and demos in mansehra, abottabad, haripur and ghazi the hindko speaking belt along the indus river and below kohistan...both literally censored the news and even failed to register teh dissent of a whole people...The PMln which is literally the representative in the area with the JUF literally turned a blind eye to the situation...their leader sardar mehtab was asked to stay away from the area..the ANP's pukhtuns have a long running animosity laden rivalry with the hindkos a language which could be called a pidgeon version of punjabi..many suggest that the PPP to stay in government has given in to almost all teh demands of the ANP and MQM which have anti pakistan roots...in teh whole process the PPP's main coalition partners had already started work for a new amendment while the 18th looks doomed to failure ...the PPP and the PMLn seemingly want teh MQM to lay its eggs in teh baskets of other peoples...with the rising discontent one can hardly see what the PPP is upto...many suggest that the PPP bought mqm votes by sentencing MQM-h leaders...ANP and MQM already working for seraikistan but not willing to create more sooba's in their own provinces...many say that teh constitution has been so irreparably damaged that teh SC could suggest that a name change causes the constitution to become unbalanced and changes the sense of the original constitution...The 18th amendment could thus be struck down by the courts...it is now in teh senate where the PPP could get into trouble and have to make some more unsavoury deals...? The PPP many feel is literally ripping of teh country and not even attempting to solve any real major problem especially in the awami aspect...many are mocking the raza rabbani assertion that they could not make regular elections in political parties a constitutional provision because it was initiated by a military chief...The PPP not known for internal elections and has gotten along with appointments and hereditary rule at the top...?
