- Apr15-2010--Life remained paralysed in the Hazara belt with blockages and strikes as the ninth victim of the nwfp chief minister ordered firing on protestors died...many blame the chief minister for directly ordering teh firing although the abbottabad DIG has been transferred...the PPP remained ambivalent to teh disturbing situation as did the PMLn whose dictatorial pointman ishaq dar many say is teh main culprit for not letting the PMLn deal with the issue before rather than after...PMLn came across looking like a culprit while saying that they had informed the primeminister of teh situation...the countries provincial basis looked increasingly unstable as not many were able to say what the provinces were based upon as obviously language is not it...The ANP looked unlikely tobe a problem solver while the Hazara volatility maybe further enhanced with the requests to the MQM and tigers for backup terrorists...many of mqm's motorcycle terrorists were on there way to hazara is teh main rumour...while the ANP and PPP blamed the PMlq the PMlq directly insinuated that the firing orders on protestors came from peshawar...Nawaz Sharif in Hazara seemed unclear about his attitude and the sense was almost as if he was teh primeminister rather than an opposition leader...he called for an all parties decision on hazara and like teh PMlq backed teh hazara province...a neutral name is probably the only solution and many say they dearly loved Nwfp rather than khyber pukhtunkhwa...the pukhtunkhwais as they are now known seemed tobe willing to fight the seperatists and carry on the bloodshed in nwfp in an area that was nwfp's only peaceful place...The PMlq gained valuable points as it started looking like a democratic party rather than a military stooge as it supported both south punjab and hazara as seperate provinces...many suggest that the PPP regime unknown for any realistic sense should ask the survey of pakistan to prepare a map of emerging language regions to see the likelihood of newer provinces being setup to at least contain the alarming ethnic situations in areas considered as PPP's backyards...?Asif Zardari who has been reduced to the position of being a mere babysitter was on teh other hand releasing controversial prisoners thinking that the people must be rejoicing(yusuf raza gilani and prisoners only ones to benefit from teh 18th amendment)...many see the PPP's attitude as pretty pathetic and many say even bilawal might have handled teh situation more appropriately than Benazirs nominated heir..others say there is little difference between the people dancing in the streets on musharafs referendum and the rejoicing of PPP leaders on teh 18th amendement...
- Apr15-2010--Pakistan which can barely produce fuel for its own canadian nuclear power plant has offered to enrich the worlds nuclear fuel supply or supply the world with nuclear fuel...many donot regard pakistan has having enough capacity to do so...
- Apr15-2010-Levies restored in 23 of balochistans 30 districts...levies checposts had been considered problematic before...
- Apr15-2010--The senate set to pass teh controversial 18th amendment despite its obvious flaws...many suggest that nawaz sharif will not be allowed to forget his weakness in not opposing key aspects of teh 18th amendment and could end up as a popular leader who never achieved popularity in governance...as any spineless PMln leader could handle such a strange ambivalence...the sharif who looked like a punjabi strongman earlier is turning into a wilting spineless nura kushti expert
- Apr15-2010- manmohan singh continued his anti pakistan animosity and refused to initiate talks with the pakistani regime which prefers to have meaningless directionless talks rather than a strategic anti pakistan coolness prefered by india...
