• Nov10-2010--as Obama turns turtle in india... pakistan protests support of india's UN security council bid...India with no real area of control barring nepal and bangladesh and no real attitude to aid poorer countries is not much of a super power...many suggest at least two muslim countries be given security council status alongwith japan and germany..
  
• Nov9-2010--This government is the biggest supporter of teh sugar lobby as its ineffective measures see sugar jump to Rs125 from 28...double the international price...
  
• Nov9-2010--The story of the DHA is as follows ..a mohajir came from india was given a house in bhatti...thru corruption and shady bussiness deals he made enough to get a house in model town and than another in gulberg...he got another in defence from an army officer and than one in valencia...and than moved to raiwind...is the DHA really necessary...the army should stop perks that cost upwards of 2-20 million per officer every few years...
  
• Nov9-2010--Minister stopped by army soldiers at gunpoint in islamabad as COAS meets zardari...Army could easily cough up 100 billion just by stopping DHA funding and other perks...many suggest a country that cant pay its debts should not be giving 50% pay increases and share handouts...government planning an almost 400-500 billion tax and electricity price hike but wont stop useless spendings...

• Nov4-2010--PPP regime making it tougher on anybody to support them as it attempts to raise electricity tariffs by over 25%...upto now all government efforts in teh sector have only led to the ruination of industry and agriculture, increased load shedding and making it almost impossible for domestic users to afford electricity..government apparently using electricity tariffs to raise taxes rather than solve problems as the supposed intra sector debt has quadrupled... government refusing to pay any subsidies to the power sector which could have eased the problems...government now says it will increase gas supplies to the power sector despite shortages...apart from this the government planning huge taxation increases which will cause further price hikes and the problems will continue to plague the country untill government gives up its attitude of higher taxation, price hikes, useless spending, hiking exchange rates etc...with 3.6 trillion in resources to spend and no worthwhile program of development spending many suggest that teh government policies are based on just fooling the people continuously...

Yusuf Gilani literally just a front for the primeministership refuses midterm elections even though many say that the PPP has lost its mandate with its anti people nature..PMLn calls for in house change as the entrenched extension ridden army chief thought incapable of a coup..another PPP primeminister will be no different many say with the paucity of the parties ideas and remembrance of what happens to PPP primeministers restricting governance...the jailhouse and guillotine enough to stop gutless gilanis and zardaris......possibility of coalition partners dropping out thought to be impossible as they cannot get along with the more punjabi natured PMLn...many suggest that a PPP-PMLq coalition might be better than the current arrangement where the mqm and anp have little or no inputs in governance...

• Nov2-2010--As rumours of a government removal start being taken seriously..rehman malik the dont arrest anyone interior minister said there would be no agents outside the passport offices where long lines are a big issue...PMLn suggests midterm polls refusing to form a new coalition with the mqm...while the PMlq has asked for the primeministership for joining the PPP coalition...with the mqm still strong in karachi only a complete rout of the PPP would make the midterm polls beneficial..many suggest that prayers be started by the people for the country tobe rid of this government...anp which says their children only hear gunfire in karachi while the mqm continues its armed struggle for complete domination of karachi
  
• Nov2-2010--The PPP and the people are now different entities as it follows inane IMF/WB directions to achieve macro economic stability without any popular development concerns or concerns about the peoples abilities to pay their hiked taxes or electricity tariffs...needless borrowing from the IMF for no specific purpose is not understandable neither are electricity tariff hikes or increased taxation...the people should understand that the government does not subsidize anything neither electricity nor agriculture...many say if there is such a huge circular debt than the power companies should be sold of to teh PSO..and the government should reduce spending rather than hike taxes.........economists and teh PPP many say should think about what revenues should be really spent upon and what are the the best ways to help the people...many agree that another coup might be on the way spearheaded by the pir pagara faction or might be another party will takeover the coalition leadership since the PPP cant manage anything...many worry at teh PML's negative intentions as they cause or initiate secessionary tendencies in various areas...people worry about how they will cope with the almost horrific flood taxation, 25% electricity price hikes and increased taxation thru RGST...it could probably kill any remaining sentiments for the PPP and a coup might be inevitable...recently i looked at a discussion on ARY's off the record in which three billionaires could not understand teh countries horrid economy and they came from three different parties...one worries at how billionaires have strangled pakistani politics and have no sense of the troubles of the people...when asif zardari asked his sindhi mna's to start preparing for local body elections they suggested that he reduce prices and make electricity and wheat affordable for the people or forget about winning elections at any level...
  
• Nov2-2010--Sindh homeminister says over a hundred indentified as involved in karachis mayhem ridden politics...Nawaz Sharif says terrorism product of military rule...while it may be true in terms of the Fata crisis and taleban terrorism in karachi political groups are responsible for the mayhems and than protecting their own killers...PPP has connived with the mqm to protect the killers and turned a blind eye to teh continuous terrorism support of the mqm and anp...while altaf hussein can best be described as pakistans adolf hitler given his ethnic superiority ridden mayhem driven politics many say a black hitler has also emerged in teh nwfp ready to challenge altaf husseins racist nature...The utilization of rangers and FC has destroyed police systems and unless police is given a free hand without the interference of teh mqm things will not be solved in karachi...politicians have to realize that their attitudes and interference have destroyed any working aspects of the police system in pakistan...in karachi despite known involvements the government and police systems have been silent spectators of mayhem and violence..the mqm still harbours seperatist dreams and its attempts at giving blanket protection to mqm supporters has led to the destruction of any hopes of peace..hopefully the present lull will lead to politicians not interfering in police work completely...
