• Mar22-2011--In a stark reminder of those involved in karachi violence an ANP leader, a brother of an mqm leader and religious teacher were gunned down...The involvements are clear to everyone but asif zardari and unless the top tier of the terrorist organizations are incarcerated such violence is unlikely to stop...over 30 killed in past few days..
  
• Mar22-2011--Asif Zardari who is otherwise a pro indian suggested in wikileaks cables that indian military strength is pakistan specific and has nothing todo with any chinese military threats to india..he also said that indians were involved in the bombay attacks and is duped by manmohans singhs duplicity in attitude...
  
• Mar22-2011--the LOP in the national assembly has again rejected the appoint of Deedar Shah as the NAB chief deeming it and teh PPP's attitude inappropriate
  
• Mar22-2011--The judiciary which is overstepping its legal boundaries by adjudicating on parliamentary responsibilities says that the PC was trampling onits powers by not approving high court additional judges...since responibilites are both the PC and JC's the decision seems tobe an interference on parliamentary powers as teh SC refused to even discuss the reasons for rejection which were said tobe teh chief justices adverse remarks...The JC obviously not concerned by remarks that teh judges were slow and not adequately intellectual enough to handle quickly remarks and presentations

Asif Zardari has had a fairly easy time in office mostly due to a pacified or reluctant army and a docile opposition...most of teh corruption charges have in the last three years fallen on others and he has been happy flying off every day to sindh and back...but now the main opposition parties teh PMLn and PMLq are both in a way up in arms...a new name for nura kushti...PMLq now supports both sides the PMLn in lahore and the PPP in islamabad without any ministries or even being in coalition...The leader of teh opposition a volatile person is literally not keen to blowup teh occasion of the presidents speech to parliament although the naara most popularly being discussed is shouts of "bhuttos ka qatil...bhuttos ka qatil..."...many suggest a burst of naara baazi and boos could welcome the most controversial person left in pakistani politics ie barring mulla omar, ossama ben laaden and whoever is the current taaleban chief......

• Mar20-2011--Cable operators who with Pemra have literally snuffed out entertainment television blocked all non government channels and people had literally nothing to see apart from PTV and indian films..in a one day strike..while channels make a lot of advertisment money the cable operators are literally surviving on user fees...

• Mar20-2011--With Pasha and Kiani being accused of accepting US subjugation merely for a few F-16's...many are critical of the Gilani attempt to keep his ISI henchman on another extension...The ISI reputation has suffered after selling off a US criminal for money and the inability todo anything about US drone attacks, suicide blasts, nato container attacks and US drip drop aid...The ISI is supposedly one of teh governments major think tank strategically and politically ..

• Mar20-2011--while teh PPP in the sindh assembly seems to think that their culture is above the national assemblies stature the PPP in the punjab assembly started a riotous protest against lotas however they now want a peaceful rendering of a Zardari speech to parliament...sindhis now have a mix of cultures which include funnily mohajirs and their pyjamas...pathans and their shalwar kamiz and kalashnikovs and the ajraks and topis of the sindhis whose cumbersome use is declining given the hot weather...most sindhis are seen wearing western costumes including the sailor uniforms of the zardaris in france which is ridiculous if a culture is something real...

• Mar18-2011--The US attacks a jirga in north waziristan killing 41...army chief who is generally responsible says it is highly regrettable...one wonders why the border area is not monitored and freedom to target any point is given to the US drones...if the jirga was important than the US should have been informed of teh consequences and any US actions stopped by whatever means necessary...The primeminister and army chief are responsible for such an event and they are not meant to just sit in their offices and watch things happen...

• Mar17-2011--In what can at best be described as an american slap in the pakistani face the ISI whatever logic it follows picked up the descendants of the two men killed by Raymond Davis and had them sign a forgiveness in exchange for supposed huge sums of money...A lahore lower court than let raymond davies go who was put on a plane to india or afghanistan the nearest getaway locations..This perhaps is the logic initiated by teh seraiki primeminister and his suspect ISI chief...who many say tried to get a personal quid pro quo too...?...a country that cannot attack invading unarmed drones and which allows raymond davies typos to shoot and kill pakistani civilians can hardly leave any room for even self respect what to talk of sovreignity...and the joke at the center---independence of teh judiciary...?whether the US paid or raymond davis or the US embassy or the punjab governmet or teh ISI or the pakistan government is unknown at the moment...The saudis issued a statement that it was not them...?americans embarassed to admit payment for crime..

Chaudhry Nisar came out with guns blazing in attempts probably to topple the cooperative Ishaq Dar from a future leadership battle of the PMLn...Nisar accused the pathetic Asif Zardari of mean sindhi nationalism whenever he is in trouble he puts on teh sindhi topi and ajrak......he accused the PPP of being dominated by sindhis by giving three top positions in government to sindhis...he said otherwise he dons a t-shirt while visiting his corruption acquired palaces in the UK and france...Baber Awan whose phd comes from a dubious university that was stopped from functioning for following bad practices also suggested that after teh failure of ishaq dar... chaudhry Nisar may be teh new military suggestion to take over from Nawaz Sharif who might be drifting out of politics...

• Mar14-2011--In what can only be termed changing the pakistan PPP into a seraiki PPP Gilani calls for including teh seraiki province in the PPP manifesto...earlier the PPP has opposed the hazara,seraiki and karachi provinces and it is obvious that Gilani is attempting to change the Zardari PPP into the seraiki gilani PPP ...many think given opposition to further provincialization Gilani should step down as premier to form his seraiki mqm..punjabis generally oppose attempts to bifurcate their province for mean ethnic reasonings...many suggest it depicts teh PPP's subjugation to the ANP/mqm attitudes which punjab generally abhors...it has been generally proven that no specific acts of under developing the seraiki area have taken place...Gilani also seems unaware that any seats that they have won are due to PMLq support and not PPP support alone...

• Mar12-2011--In what can be termed turncoats versus turncoats teh PMLq-PPP group and the PMLn-unification group jeered at each other in the punjab assembly...played football outside the assembly with lotas and threw shoes at caricatures of lotas...The concept of a lota which is a useful tool for wazzoo in islamic rites is based on assembly members joining whichever coalition they prefer... early on they were called matkas or having no base...The PMlq a breakaway faction of the PMLn during the musharaf era has a majority of its punjab assembly members supporting the government as the PPP was kicked out of the coalition...The PPP which was daggers drawn with the PMLq also referred to as the qatil league is now perfectly happy to support them despite their previous misdeeds...so it turns out the situation is one lota group against another with teh PPP losing its sensibilities of the last decade too...

• Mar12-2011--The government in what can be termed another anti people move again subjugated itself to the IMF by suggesting that it would again increase electricity rates when they have nothing todo with teh governments deficit...despite agreeing to a 5.3% fiscal deficit target and even attempting to get flood taxation going the IMF refused to restart the 11.3 billion standby arrangement and kept insisting on RGST a generally pathetic and untenable position...pakistan has been intertwining its financial situation with donor demands without any progress or improvement in teh situation...Its revenues have increased from teh low billions to 1.6 trillion but the donors views and advice has been the same since the seventies ...
  
• Mar12-2011--After teh SC removed retired Judge Deedar Shah a strange case who was PPP mpa before he became a judge and the SHC CJ...usually judges are not selected from politicians even though lawyers all have political loyalties....Asif Zardari who apparently does not know anyone in teh punjab and other provinces again asked for the national assembly opposition leader to consider his appointment...his removal came as there was not proper consultation...The PPP seems petrified of discussing appointments with the main opposition...
  
• Mar12-2011--The PPP again played a terrible card as it organized a strike in sindh against deedars removal from NAB while karachi violence claimed seven lives and 18 vehicles , a roadside stall and a container were set on fire...suggesting that it was an anti sindhi move seems tobe a negative perception of teh PPP...as the removal seems technical and teh PPP should theoretically move to bring in a consensus choice in this position...mqm using the situation for its own nefarious designs on karachis politics
  
• Mar12-2011--In other topics Pasha is coming in for a lot of flack on attempting another extension...he seems frightened of being retired from public life......pasha supposedly an afghan expert has been unable to douse the taleban insurrection and can be said tobe a failure in nabbing top level taleban /al qaeda figures...terrorism and the karachi /balochistan situation have also apparently been mishandled...ISI suggestions that they did not know about CIA operations in pakistan also seems a bit pathetic...Gilani has again apparently handed over handling of american relations to teh ISI/army showing his weakness in international relations...many suggest that a change in the top ISI position is necessary to bring in new thinking as both Kiani and Pasha were the ISI chiefs for the last five years...Others say that subjugated relations with the americans just for 14 F-16's are making pakistan look like a banana republic...there is little other interest in relations with the USA which are 90% vitriolic and ten percent F-16's/aid...if the americans donot want tobe a friendly superpower for whatever reasons than pakistan should move on towards an independent outlook and sovreignity based relationships...
