• Sep1-2011--Yusuf Raza Gilani who many see as the main cause of destabilization in the country due to price hikes,slow to order proper law and order steps in karachi and nwfp, electricity shortfalls, poor priorities and constant attempts to destabilize the punjab by the PPP...many see his attempts at seraiki sooba as unconstitutional and many also see him as crazy as he started out as anti seraiki and said they would bring it into their manifesto the next time...now he has the whole government supporting seraikistan despite its obvious destabilization potential...no other cabinet member has supported new sooba's...some are suggesting that if new provinces are so good than why does he not start from karachi and hazara...?he is frightened of even talking about karachi as a sooba but says new provinces are not a bad idea despite the constitution being totally against new sooba's...many say that the PPP is bent upon dividing punjab to reduce its power over them...

• Aug31-2011--The mirza saga continues with his claiming that he will be shot dead eventually while firdous awan claimed that he had been paid off...!!his latest claim is that rehman malik should have been thrown into a dustbin...earlier he had claimed that like big leaders he had not escaped abroad and had remained underground for 12 years...obviously no one was looking for him and he was not a terrorist in the imran farook mould...like many others he thinks that people like zardari and gilani will not leave much of a legacy for bilawal who already wants to stay overseas...many now claim that it is the end of the line for the zardaris and bhuttos as their policies are for teh industrialists and not the ordinary people...
  
• Aug30-2011--The PPP continues to turn a blind eye to teh allegations of zulfikar mirza and the mqm reaction shows that there is a lot of truth in what he says...The PPP has literally given teh mqm immunity from prosecution as well as arrest and they use it repeatedly to harass the sindh government...The PPP would prefer that their childish remarks be considered more important than the real situation...nobody believes that the mqm does not have anything todo with the karachi situation and is just sitting around being battered by others...some even say the violence stopped only after altaf hussein was hospitalized in england...rehman malik many say allowed many of the troublemakers to escape by informing them beforehand...also it is difficult to believe that the problems all over karachi were being caused from lyari and the mqm was just an idle bystander...sindhi ministers warned zardari that they would not tolerate the situation if mqm's troublemakers were not arrested...many say zardari continued to insist that they would stop their ethnic animosity if allowed to join teh government...that has as yet not proved true as even the mqm alleges that over 500 were eliminated during zulfikar mirza's tenure...the mqm is very biased and is not willing to handover their killers and arsonists...The SC seems tobe just as willing tobe duped by the various political groups and can at best ask that actions be taken across the board rather than only against lyari... many suggest that the controversial rehman malik needs tobe replaced so that everyone can be apprehended ..while many suggest that like in teh benazir government full control be handed over to the police...as in the current process police remains inactive until orders are given to stop the violence...many also say that teh PPP attempts to govern without opposition in sindh and at the center is the main cause of teh problem...the mqm under the situation has a mandate of opposition but is not willing to sit on the opposition benches as their supporters would find it difficult not tobe apprehended for their part in the violence in karachi...mqm tries to play teh mohajir card in sindh especially karachi where they have a huge majority and have disenfranchised literally all those not supporting them...many suggest that one of the solutions is that elections in karachi be held on a proportional representation basis so that every body can be represented and the mqm does not become the only armed violence prone political power in karachi which can than blackmail the government at will...The PPP too could benefit from replacing the sindh chief minister with a more hands on personality who can handle teh violence at a moments notice rather than await instructions from islamabad

• Aug29-2011--In a major upheaval sindh minister zulfikar mirza insists he could have solved the karachi violence in 15 days but was unable todoso in three years because of the lying trecherous rehman malik who he says doesnt own even barber shop in pakistan...he says altaf hussein behind all the killings and karachi violence...PPP has been unable to handle the mqm because of their lack of political will and any real agenda...says zardari released at least 25 known mqm murderers from jail...zulfikar mirza resigned as a sindh minister, assembly member and a PPP postion after protesting the facial operations in lyari a PPP and baloch dominated area..suggests that amin qaim khani might be leading the mqm terrorism...mirza belittled the mqm leaderships lack of political lineage/heritage suggesting that he was the son of judge and had offered all his wealth if he could not solve teh karachi problems in 15 days...and thus was probably superior to the immigrants from india...many suggest that even the sindhi nationalists are more loyal to pakistan than the mqm

• Aug28-2011--a dawn graphic image of the karachi warfare shows newer areas of conflict emerging in the generally peaceful southern areas while teh heavy fighting is concentrated in the outer areas, mohajir dominated central, local and baloch areas...the better developed central areas leading from the airport to the southern areas are the least affected including areas that are run by teh armed forces, bussiness and affluent areas...most heavily affected have been the middle class to the poorer areas of lyari, gulshan e iqbal, gulshan jauhar, garden, lines area, korangi, malir, new karachi, north karachi, orangi,and baldia...the heaviest fighting has been in Orangi and new/north karachi which seem to have bengali and sindi populations...the industrial areas of landhi, korangi have also been affected this time..most of the areas heavily affected are mohajir dominated which many say is due to the generally angry temperament developed and projected by the mqm leaders...site, soceities, shah faisal,manghopir ,cantonments and northern developed areas have the least violence...many suggest a division of karachi between mohajirs and the rest of karachi or sending the richer mohajir leaders to live in orangi or malir...
  
• Aug28-2011--The dawn a generally pro PPP newspaper with mqm leanings insists that the PPP whose support base is now largely rural is not the target of the mqm led ethnic war in karachi...about 1500-2000 people have been killed in karachi during most years of ethnic conflict...earlier the police and army cleaned out the mqm's terrorists which has caused an almost 15 year lull in ethnic fighting in karachi...another cleaning of the mqm is on the cards while the mqm says they are now ready to take on the army again...many say ethnic mohajirs generally hate the PPP because they canot identify with their sindhi nature while in punjab mohajirs generally support the PMLn...PPP generally loses out in most of teh countries bigger cities which have migrant populations as well as immigrants from india and kashmir...the PPP has always borne teh brunt of the ethnic mohajir angst during its three or four attempts to rule the country...
  
• Aug28-2011--As things cool in karachi the interior minister agrees not to press the murder of imran farook who now looks like having been eliminated by the mqm too...while others insist that the murderers are being interrogated by the military...still others insist that he was eliminated by altaf husseins guards , bookies or indians...!!!
  
• Aug28-2011--in another example of mohajirs looting the country and fleeing like altaf hussein... mohajir general musharaf's wealth was confiscated by an ATC judge in the Benazir bhutto murder case...the PPP still insisting it was a qurbani...musharaf who fled with about $20 million is said to hold bank accounts of Rs 87 million in pakistan alongwith agriculutural land near teh soan river and in bahawalpur apart from 10 canals in gwadar, huge house in islamabads posh farmhouse area and at least three houses in karachi besides unknown plots in DHA's...musharaf widely reputed to have setup the terrorist mqm and attempting to join up with imran farook in a new karachi mohajir organisation...however failing he has setup his own version of teh much multiplied muslim league...
  
• Aug28-2011--In another new happening the new auditor general was given an oath by the the CJP while teh courts objections to the appointment were announced by the court registrar which one TV channel says could cause teh convening of the supreme judicial council...The auditor general apparently has applied for a canadian passport and faces other serious charges as does the primeminister for reccomending him...Gilani seems to have a serious bias against non multanis even though all his multani appointments have caused him serious problems...

• Aug27-2011--with the mqm turning out tobe a really criminal organisation having successfully murdered their own founders in england and karachi many suggest that it is time to cleanup the mqm and the PPP cannot manage that given its cowardice in even arresting murderers..others note teh mqm's ability to get support from the taleban as they also react in nowshera and lahore...this cohabitation with terrorists and their organisational ability to murder, riot and commit arson can only be dealt with one way...PPP is also apparently cowardly in sindh and starts strutting around in punjab...many suggest that they could have orchestrated the taseer kidnapping to force a change in lahore...others suggest the mqm involvement in the imran farook murder and the PPP's closeness to the mqm is enough to send the sindh provincial assembly packing...the current scenario suggests that the imran farook murderers were being let off by the ppp...!!!of the four mqm founders two have been killed, one is in jail and the fourth lives it up in england...two of the founder members ostensibly killed for opposing altaf hussein...!!!

• Aug25-2011--The PPP regime backs away from calling in the army to handle karachi showing its clear discrimination on how it handles fata, balochistan and karachi...many suggest a coup would be inevitable if the army succeed in karachi as the PPP policies have failed in politics and economics..PPP unsure of itself and whether calling in the army is undemocratic since it is obviously not a subservient organisation in this regimes setup...PPP almost isolated in the country and apparently lacks confidence in handling the terrorizing mqm both politically and on the streets...In the punjab a PPP leader said that shabaz sharif had warned him not to start anything in the punjab on the lines of the mqm actions in karachi(or as they say "ethe kuch keeta te bhatian bhan diyan ge...")...yusuf raza gilani said they would train the mqm in how to hold peaceful demonstrations...PPP spokesman still insisting only a few criminals hiding in the mqm were the cause of the problem...many suggest that since teh mqm and the PPP are a total failure Pervez Elahi be appointed teh chief minister or governor of sindh...
  
• Aug25-2011--Hina rabbani khar as they say growling at the chinese feet that they have nothing todo with muslim movements in xinjiang,china...she obviously lacks a knowledge of the long history of chinese suppression of muslims and the long history of muslim attempts to just get the chinese of their backs as they are ground into the dust economically...the chinese even jailed a women muslim leader for 25 years...that obviously cannot happen in any other country barring china
  
• Aug24-2011--even on a day of an all out strike karachiites still managed six gunny sacked bodies...the PPP issued a threat to extortionists and terrorists to leave karachi...both words have been used for the monolithic mqm..while some suggested that some of the killers rotate between balochistan and karachi...while in the rest of teh country politicians do have some control over their followers that aspect seems tobe missing in karachi...the current situation has developed out of an ethnic fight between mohajirs and pukhtuns...and the sindhi's strange attempts to befriend their diehard opponents the mqm who have had a free hand to strike, attempt to topple the PPP governments and obviously refusing to accept any PPP viewpoint(apart from terrorism and extortion..in rawalpindi rumours suggest that altaf hussein said my eidhi this time should be 11 crore...and he also praised his arsonists as the best in the world...)..a government attempted cleanout of PPP dominated lyari and the PPP and mqm's inability to agree on a local governance system compound the ethnic divide...many suggest that teh PPP's determination not tobe population oriented with a policy of price hikes that solves nothing and an almost continuous electricity supply shortage is the basic cause with nobody supporting teh PPP anywhere in teh country...their attempts to suggest that the equally obnoxious indians and americans are their friends have compounded teh problems...obviously the mqm will be happy and overjoyed to get away without any of their leaders or workers being arrested...history suggests the involvement of the mqm is the only cause...of problems in karachi...PPP should be realistic and start by arresting the mqm leaders directly involved in politics and threats to the state...upto now PPP efforts in the countries financial and political problems have not solved anything..

• Aug23-2011--The policy of giving immunity to political leaders of the mqm has backfired as the mqm, bussiness leaders and the ANP all have refused to meet the primeminister in karachi and the seraiki gilani even accused by the mqm of supporting killers...mqm regards everyone else in karachi as criminals of one type or another...rehman malik whose ethnicity is unclear and a supporter of teh mqm had a run in with the sindhi ethnicist zulfikar mirza who wanted teh center to get out of the fray...the PPP's central leaders only know how to fight with the PMln and seem to barely know how to tackle the worsening ethnic violence in karachi..it is a situation tailor made for army rule as no one supports anyone else...all smaller groups are suggesting army intervention as the bigger groups the PPP and mqm unable to tackle teh situation
  
• Aug23-2011--sindh information minister suggests weakly that a surgical operation will be carried out on the lines of everyone is an enemy barring the ethnic mohajirs...the problem in karachi since 1988 has been the mqm and it has killed indiscriminatly and tried to create an urban ethnic powerbase that nobody else accepts...despite its huge popular base it is literally unable to control violence...it continues its violence prone ethnic animosity and unless the PPP characterized by its dominance in sindh interior is willing to pick up the political perpretrators the situation will not change...many suggest that the army which earlier had a lot of problems controlling karachi is the only one with any real experience in handling ethnic warfare
  
• Aug23-2011--Mqm proves that it is really not a muttahida nor cooperative and still is the same old mean and nasty mohajir ethnic organisation as it calls for a strike to protest killing of what can at best be described as a culling of karachis ethnic thugs of varying varieties...the murder oriented politics of karachi which has for the last few months seen an ethnic slugfest of an intensity rarely seen before as various ethnic groups literally go at it hammer and tong...the PPP has been dragging along without any major attempt to control the politicians or the street killers..the recent spate of body bags has shown the policy of reconciliation tobe a useless tool as no one is serious enough to want teh war to end...the weakness of the zardari-gilani-rehman malik attitude causes all groups to go for it whenever they please...altaf hussein who is said tobe behind most of karachis violence with other groups also participating has asked for the resignation of the PPP primeminister who has shown a lacklustre interest in karachis violence as zardari attempts to get teh mqm back on board for no real reason...the violence will only end when the top leaders of the mqm are arrested and put behind bars and so are the leaders of other smaller groups...with the PPP policy of just looking on the mqm has had a free hand to continue its fight to control all of karachi which has caused fierce backlashes from smaller ethnic groups...unless the mqm's war controllers or terrorism controllers are put behind bars and a substantial armed force..police, rangers and army put in place in all localities the situation is not going to ease...mqm not known to accept peaceful political advice and PPP's cowardice is the real cause of the problem...with nobody in charge to handle the violence.. a pacifist chief minister with little control over anything the seemingly pathetic zardari-gilani-rehman malik have to shoulder teh responsibility even when it is not constitutionally legal...many suggest the only possibility is to suspend the provincial assembly, appoint a real governor and call in the army for support on the streets...
