• Sep 14-2011--almost daily rains in karachi and southern sindh areas, last years floods and the karachi violence has made a mockery of teh sindh governments operational ability (given their decision making ability is shackled by rehman malik and asif zardaris interference...)the attorney general insists despite having no operational expertise that the army is not needed...many suggest that the army only has anti terror,disaster relief and operational ability and the government should hand over karachi and rain affected areas to the army to tackle the situation especially as a charity or relief measure for the affected people who have nobody to look up to after asif zardari ran away from teh country to enjoy his official holidays...

• Sep 11-2011--The PPP has sufficient provincial seats to win more than 43 seats in the senate more than doubling its present number as does the PMLn which being a provincial powerhouse in punjab could get to 12...however teh danger to teh PPP is that it might be wiped out in the next general elections given its myopic anti people policeis and late reactions to issues and events...

• Sep 11-2011--Gilani again showed his inconsequential nature in teh present government when he asked people to fund the calamity in sindh..that when revenues are well over one and half trillion and the budget 2.5 trillion...how much more should the people pay in taxes when the money is just going tobe wasted...and not spent on the countries problems...the PPP regime wants the people to pay for everything such as gas pipelines,provincial electricity bills,circular debt, oil prices etc...when there is no major development work going on the government should use revenues to foot the bills rather than go for loans and price hikes and further raising tax revenues...the present government has been particularly terrible in its allocation and utilisation of teh huge budget revenues and been unable to solve any problem in fact causing further strife and trauma to the people
  
• Sep 11-2011--The mqm has issued a press release that what they really oppose about zulfikar mirza is how benazir built him not one but two sugar mills and also arranged teh funding when his father was only a judge...and the zardaris and benazir also lived in his luxury islamabad villa...?Benazir did not build sugar mills for anyone else...?
  
• Sep 11-2011--after rumours spread that asif zardari had again fled the country as even his hometown was flooded this time...however it turned out that chest pains while walking in flooded sindh caused him to rush off to london for a heart checkup...Bilawal said "father if they are making u walk in gutter water than hop onto the next plane..."the sharifs, asfandyar, gilani and the zardaris prefer london hospitals...while the chaudhris prefer washington hospitals...and all this when teh sharifs have their own hospital...but what is good enough for the people is just not so for pirs, ethnic warlords, industrialists and other rich men...

• Sep 10-2011--The dawn suggests that the US very interested in turning pakistan into a funded sectarian war zone..they say that wikileaks suggests that barelvis in karachi formed the sunni tehreek in reaction against the violence prone SSP...suggesting that barelvi pirs are peaceful and shiite pirs have become feudals or land owners mostly in seraiki and sindh areas...their viewpoint that iranians donot fund shiites(charity/religious/political) in pakistan seems counter to the general opinion...political and religious groups thrive on funding...political groups such as the mqm have tried to drive out violently the religious groups from the charity driven collections bussiness...while the taleban were initially taught by the madressas in the tribal areas they became political warlords in afghanistan thru dominating the war for political power until thrashed by teh northern alliance...however their methods of war, bravery in fighting and an army of suicide bombers have increased their power many folds with nobody able to even deal with them apart from the army which has been fighting them since 2007 but unable to subdue them in any way...the taleban basically are tribal and afghan based while teh SSP was punjabi based and led.. SSP became a major sectarian outfit and was subdued by teh elimination of its leaders by the military..but the taleban and SSP had different political aims...most religious leaders in punjab and nwfp generally mosque based are moderate and political while areas like karachi became a haven for pukhtun mullahs and sectarian outfits of various types...however the mullahs eliminate opponents at a faster pace and are relatively subdued in the face of the ethnic war in karachi..the ethnic war in karachi has survived as the mqm leadership is london based and has the active cooperation of british and american agencies...with the opponents of the mqm being local based they have managed to subdue the electoral power of teh mqm who now are wilting under teh pressure of the PPP's politicians some of whom are immensely sensible...altaf hussein seemed to suggest that the mqm was at war with the zulfikar mirza supported karachi aman committee...others suggested that nawaz sharif offered altaf hussein the primeministership if he stopped his street warfare in karachi but he apparently has rejected teh offer with as they say disdain...?police and mqm both seem to have been gunning down lyari's supposedly pro PPP leaders...?
  
• Sep 10-2011--Altaf hussein came out gunning for only mohajirdom/mohajiristan and showed approval for the mohajir led murders/mayhems in karachi...he almost said that the mqm would kill and has been killing opponents...the mqm is for a mohajir dominated police, beaurocracy and local government in karachi based on eliminating whoever opposes them on teh streets...he threatened the generally mohajir dominated television anchors not to talk against teh mqm and said his thunder squad would deal with them...and offered his thugs, killers and bombers to the army /isi to save pakistan which he regards tobe parts of karachi...he tried to prove that his support of american anti pakistan politics as justified by various other anti pakistan behaviours...many retorted that the rangers were enough to save pakistan while others called for teh arrest and execution of the anti pakistan mohajir warlord...still others say that he is the fattest mohajir on teh face of the earth...he seemed to suggest that the army/isi would bring him in as a primeminister after a coup but many doubted that...he apparently said that asif zardari is a mohajir having a mohajir mother and only supported the isi/army apart from them which many say are his only chance of getting his dirty hands on pakistans government
  
• Sep 10-2011--The IG sindh a political appointee himself says his problems are that 40% of police are political appointees...we should amend that and say that the problem seems tobe a lack of proper handling techniques and poor slow transportation...many suggest that faster modes of transport to troubled sites should be adopted and teh british methods of using truncheons and quick contact with troublemakers should be adopted...the IG sindh has a very controversial past...apparently a friend of asif zardari he gave the orders to shoot down murtaza bhutto as an SP and when appointed IG islamabad...police shot down governor punjab and a christian minister was also gunned down in islamabad...many believe the police maybe behind many of the hit and run murders since a judicial system to handle politicised criminals is non existent in karachi...
  
• Sep 09-2011--nobody is frightened of martial law any longer as the operations will obviously be mounted in karachi and terrorism no one can solve..and the lacklustre PPP inability to govern.....many see the jokes of the mqm being presented in teh SC that they are teh only ones being killed and that they are just sitting around being victimised..they forget the killings of mqmh walas earlier and ST walas...the mqm and rehman malik are teh prime culprits...many say the hit and run killers have had teh support of teh sindh government which is why nobody in the police has even tried stopping the killings which have been almost constant in the last year...all this has roots in many say police or sindh government overlooking elimination of religious group victims and earlier acts of ethnic mayhem and actions against the mqmh(only political group victimised by the government and mqm in karachi)..many point to the violence escalating after altaf hussein hatchet man amir khan rejoined the mqma..if u look the other way in the case of one killer whether it is a mohajir or pukhtun than u can hardly catch the next one...this goes back to 2007 when teh sindh government which than had a mohajir home minister who refused to stop the violence...and the PPP refusing to prosecute the mqm...the mqm has a history of terrorism mostly against other ethnic/political groups and their own splinter faction... zulfikar mirza issuing of 300000 arms licences is also beyond understanding...sixty years ago they used to have licenses for cycles too..let everybody keep a gun/kalashnikov/uzi... why only the elite...many suggest that the SC should call rehman malik, farook sattar/altaf hussein and qaim ali shah and question their attitudes and involvement...and what is the reason for the gilani hands off attitude...could it be the hitmen could be his seraiki henchmen from multan..the SC should investigate in the light of the last twenty years happenings and it will probably easily understand/find teh culprit/culprits involved...
  
• Sep 09-2011--The ISI which can make up anything when it wants to suggests to the SC that apart from the main three political parties small religious groupings also involved in karachi violence..recent violence has however been due to the larger karachi parties as the sectarianists and religious groups ran out of ideas on whom to kill...many have suggested indian/altaf/police involvement in teh killing of religious leaders as well which had become a routine in sindh which was never probed by the sindh government...however the ISI usually having deep knowledge of teh controllers of ethnic/sectarian/religious/retaliatory violence has not provided any information asto the behind the scene controllers...information about the jinnahpur attempt, altaf calling for mohajirs to buy kalashnikovs also came from the ISI/military intelligence's deep moles as did the information about altafs 3000 man army which was at a time prepared to work for karachis secession...and eliminating altafs opponents...many have pointed to the countrywide assassination roles of the pukhtuns and tribals...many have noticed deep collaboration between altaf and taleban suicide bombers which many say can be bought these days at a price...others point to individual hitmen hired from punjab by mqm leaders...some reluctantly also point to PMLq and PMLn leaders involvement...Wikileaks suggests that the mqm wanted in on the PPP governments and their role as is usually the case is to bring down each and every government with their intransigence...Gilani showed extreme cowardice when he refused to discus with ministers as well as take action on probably the first rehman malik briefing on karachi..dawn says that the PPP ministers were shocked at why the government had not taken extreme measures and went on with a sham reconciliation...rehman malik said he was under orders to facilitate the mqm...he obviously never reported his discussions with mqm to the primeminister...others point to the fact that reconciliation does not mean that u take on opposition ministers who than have to sit around and do nothing but means discussions and assignation of those responsible for past events which the PPP and mqm donot have the guts todo...PPP has stark contrasts on how it deals with sindh, punjab, nwfp and balochistan in almost that order of priority...while it keeps attacking shabaz and nawaz sharif it facilitates sindh and looks the other way in matters of nwfp and balochistan...a case in point is the deliberate delaying of projects including power projects in teh punjab..
  
• Sep 08-2011--Mqm the only one to insist that the violence in karachi is ethnic in origin and aimed at its electoral power base...others all blame the mqm, other political parties and government...mqm despite its failure in all governments since the early 1990's wants policing powers despite it being unable to even control its sector incharges or get along with other ethnic or political groups...rasool baksh palejo called the sindh government a dummy...since the solution to karachi lies in the political and administrative realm the SC seems tobe unaware as to the reasons of teh suo moto action or the powers of the armed forces if brought in to keep the peace...many suggest that the army should be called in to keep the peace and than teh rangers and police can wipe out the killers and terrorists..others suggest that since it is an ethnic imbroglio a foreign municipal administrator be hired to run karachi as well as a foreign police commissioner who cannot be subdued or threatened by ethnic maniacs...
  
• Sep 08-2011--the punjab budget is almost a trillion but nawaz sharif grumbles about a paucity of resources...many suggest that the claim seems untrue as the PMLn regime is distributing houses and yellow taxicabs and building overheads to model town and six lane highways to raiwind...the taxicabs maybe a wasted effort as taxicabs are not too popular these days...
  
• Sep 08-2011--In what is being called a major counterattack two suicide bombers blew up outside and inside the DIG rangers residence in quetta killing a colonel, DIGrangers wife and 26 others...many link it to the mqm diatribe of their probable terrorist boss mustafa kamal while the taleban claim that it is in retaliation for the arrest of three al qaeda men whose arrest circumstances are clouded in doubt...one suicide bomber came from peshawar
  
• Sep 07-2011--zulfikar ali mirza has left the mqm grovelling in the dust and teh mustafa kamal response seems to suggest an incoherence of thought and selfish meanness...the sindhi politicians might not be able to win elections in karachi due to the ethnic groups hold on mohajir sentiments but they have shown their large heartedness...he also seems to claim that ajmal pahari is their killer with 100 scalps...why the mohajirs are so heartless and crying about their migration leaves many shocked ...the 1947 migration of muslims to pakistan and hindus and sikhs to india was one of teh most successful in history...while the hindus who went to india have never even held a demonstration teh muslims who came here are hellbent upon destroying what their forefathers built...many find it strange that these mohajirs claim to have made pakistan but have never voted or been associated with the muslim league that led the struggle...it seems as if they were brought here by force and have never recovered from the trauma...mustafa kamal was unable to respond to the politics and his oft repeated argument is that urdu speaking are vilified/ traumatised and their leaders demeaned/demonized...hardly an argument but that is the extent of the mohajir logic...mqm has been unable to answer the accusation of attempting to break pakistan...the mqm while supposedly hugely popular has never been able to mount a major peaceful demonstartion and has tended to extreme area violence to keep its supporters silent...the recent violence in karachi is said to have taken place after the mqm openly issued threats of dire consequences...others suggest that opponents killed those who intruded into their territories...
  
• Sep 06-2011--The military seems so worried about secret relations with teh USA that they would have us believe that the arrest of three al qaeda unknowns was accomplished with the technical help of teh US...when u have a written address than what help do u need...many suggest that pakistan possibly could be doing contract interrogations for the USA with the mauritani having been arrested in some other country and given to pakistan for interrogations...ostensibly they were picked up from a quetta house but the military did not give out any details barring their heroic cooperation with teh US...

• Sep 05-2011--SC judges and ANP lawyer unable to understand karachi situation...while one judge said idiotically that there are no mohajirs the ANP lawyer went one up by saying that it is not an ethnic issue...the parties having representation in karachi are MQM(mohajir)...ANP(pukhtun) and PPP(generally sindhi based)...in fact all political parties are identified by ethnicity generally...and of course lyari is baloch based...maybe an open mind is what is required by the judges rather than being blind to realities...the judges should suggest a change in teh constitution so that either the candidates of all parties represent teh cross section of the populace or that no party be allowed more than 60% seats in any legislature or the more realistic porportional representation...most problems of karachi are based on regional or ethnic issues with related economic/political tensions...ignoring reality is the general option being adopted by the PPP...if the killings were target killings than each murder has tobe seperately investigated..
