• Oct17-2014--The LHC upheld the death sentance for blasphemy awarded four years ago to Asia Bibi a christian ...at that time the governor met Asia Bibi in prison and was later shot dead by a policemen
  
• Oct17-2014--The judges donot know the meanings of the words sadiq and ameen mentioned in the constitution observed a SC judge saying they have no explanations for them...these words are not too commonly used anyway...many suggest the judges are seeking excuses to avoid asking the primeminister and army chief to come to court and testify on what happened between them in the context of the armies purported offer to help mediate between the dharna's and government...others suggest that the legislature does have immunity from being vilified by the courts over what they say inside an assembly...Articles 62 and 63 obviously have tobe treated seperately from immunity of parliament from prosecution...The judges could ask the primeminister to again explain the issue for the understandings of the litigants...Apparently the military chief failed as Imran Khan refused to budge from his resignation demand thus ending hopes of the mediation...

• Oct11-2014--Nobel peace prize falls to a new low as Malala given this years Nobel peace prize...living in exile since her attack she has no role in her own country or at best a very minor isolated one...Since most countries of the western world are involved in some sort of warfare with the UN peace role dubious the Nobel Committee has given the peace prize to non participants or non achievers although u can say that Malala has visited syrian refugee camps and Nigeria...she as is the pakistani government are dubious in their roles...peace is not something that can be achieved by warmongers of any kind and the indians are the worst barring a couple of individuals
  
• Oct10-2014--The IHC is taking iane actions which are not very clear especially in matters of appointments and removals in the federal beaurocracy says the Dawn...many feel that new governments should be allowed to replace officials when they takeover after an election in one go...while iftikhar chaudhry followed some sort of visible agenda the IHC has not been able to satisfy many with its actions...case in point the allowing of gas to CNG stations when the judges know that gas is not available and people have to suffer as domestic gas supplies are cutoff...

• Oct9-2014--chota guerilla aka bilawal zardari says he will have altaf hussein apprehended by the metropolitan police if they try to disrupt his karachi jalsa...mqm seems to accept that they are the "namaloom afrad" that terrorize's karachi...and some mqm journalists knew that there would be two blasts at Benazirs homecoming rally and the sindh government knew when the jalsa would end...!!!...we already have the new maula jat's aka qadri and imran who issue murder threats in their jalsa's...i dont think that anyone is too frightened of Bila Jat...while one has heard of our local police undercover men playing politics this is the first english policeman...!...Bilawal Zardari too will have to learn that the days of Bhutto one and even Bhutto-2 were quite different and a new political thinking is needed..can he match the Rs2 per unit electricity that is offered by mullah Imran...a few associates of his late grandfather are still around like mustafa khar who is now in PAT...many donot see much in the mild, corrupt and punjabi theme of the last punjabi PPP era...as for maula jat's that might get the punjabi's going it probably will be difficult to beat the terrifying imran and qadri bhaibhai dandadanda...many suggest that Asif Zardari's visits to mansura maybe in search for a mullah to attract the right wing...The JI provides leaders to both the PMLn and the PTI...something to match mullah whiskey a former mansura mullah matched up with Bhutto-1...With Bhutto-2 having been attempting a liberal corrupt monarchy the moderate muslim moderates marched away...but asif zardari sees the mullah's getting tired of the pro indian timid nawaz sharif...many suggest that even the taleban could be looking askance at the PPP again...given Imran Khans...qadri leanings...Bilawal would find going in the punjab difficult with heavyweights like the PTI, PMLn, PMLq and now even the PAT...they would have to split the people heavy PMLn into various groups that could than breakaway...just some families and the sindh leaning Bilawal Zardari with literally no policies would be a hard sell to the new political kiddo's...another option would be for the old guys to retire and their children...god forbid..offering us the 1970's era political boxing matches...!according to asif zardari the recent couplotter was so in favor of the cricketer that he reduced the voting age to 18 just for the 62-63 year old captain...!!

• Oct5-2014--while the television media were discussing the possibility of mid term polls an ex SC judge filed a petition in the SC asking the court to order fresh polls...The 2013 polls have been dirtied and bruised by standard politico antagonisms and ECP mismanagement such as the battered magnetic ink...If some event becomes almost certain such as an adverse SC judgement the government could announce mid term polls to avoid a personal fallout and pre empt a negative decision/reaction
  
• Oct5-2014--Asif Zardari to stick to the PMLn refusing to believe that it has anything todo with the PPP's fall in popular support...while it is generally agreeable that the PMLn is not responsible for the PPP's fall in punjab the PPP has no other option but to hope for PMLn votes and try to drive a wedge between the PTI and the JI...the PPP has stuck to the same few families in leadership who donot now generate any support or enthusiasm...the same goes for policies which changed dramatically under benazir...just supporting selective privatization and being otherwise supporters of an elitist financial and political setup is a natural destroyer...anyway they have been around for too long tobe able to fool the people anymore and the PTI does a better job of the Pied Piper syndrome...or follow at your own risk...!
  
• Oct5--suicide attack kills six ...in quetta's hazara town. Earlier a pickup bomb blast went off near a police vehicle injuring seven...another six died in an IED blast at a Kohat taxi stand...it seems tobe a wave of attacks focused on shiite area's/travellers
  
• Oct4-2014--Dawn says the government using the dharna's to acquire popularity amongst parliaments opposition groups while Imran Khan seemingly edging away from the dharnas after acquiring a new everyday prominence...The PMLn also trying to use the problems to avoid dealing with important people oriented problems...many find it funny that they are now seeking foreign aid for IDP's and flood relief...PPP with the same tainted group of politicians also trying to get its support groups going by supporting and opposing both sides...They must be rueing shah mahmoods leaving the party who had lead the punjab PPP to a new found prominence...Asif Zardari suggests that Imran Khan shifting to rallies after the dharna's failure...The SC on the other hand was perturbed at the provincial governments/ECP for deliberately avoiding local body elections...The PTI in trying to snub PMLn bad governance propaganda in KP...said it had made it easier to get a domicile certificate in KP...pukhtuns are known to get domiciles from two or three provinces to increase their admission chances...
  
• Oct4-2014--many question the saudis exhortations against the IS which is at best a local militant group...the opposition comes mostly because it was the US which exhorted them to do so...opposition to the new US-saudi-iran nexus is being referred to by many as the new Yazids...The US has been fighting muslim countries for the last twenty years... bombing,invading, creating trouble and toppling governments to no avail...in afghanistan they are involved since 1979...wherever the US goes militant groups emerge and things turn topsy turvy...with the main al qaeda becoming weaker the US has found a new enemy to fool the muslim countries.....recently the new indian-US nexus also threatened pakistan which is beset by its own internal problems...a situation many say is just what the indians and US like to see happen...The IS is fighting the very dictators that the US was initially opposed to and the sectarian natured governance in iraq...

• Oct2-2014--as the PMLn thrashed a few "Go Nawaz Go" chanters at a Nawaz function in Wazirabad...Mariam Nawaz still thinks they are tigers after the literally mouse in a hole performance of Nawaz Sharif...Marium Nawaz has also apparently run away to Dubai alongwith other PMLn families...!
  
• Oct2-2014--The SC resumes the Lying Primeminister case as the dharna's start looking like being dragged along...The judges had asked the lawyers to study the constitution articles 62, 63 and 95 while the PTI has asked for the removal of controversial judge Jawwad S Khawaja...the larger bench application has been rejected...many feel that the suggestion had been forwarded to the army chief by the interior minister and the punjab chief minister and not the primeminister...The army chief than met both the primeminister and imran khan but found that they were not amenable to his decision making or intervention...apparently the army suggestion making process was dropped...with the dhandli allegations looking unable to stand their ground the PTI is depending on the court case to have Nawaz Sharif disqualified...!The controversial judge could play both sides to prove his honesty and thus be dangerous to Nawaz Sharif too..however the substance of misleading parliament has not been provided to the court...The court would have to call the interior minister, chief minister punjab and possibly the army chief to explain what happened...but first the court will decide whether it can hear a case on utterances in parliament...which are considered untouchable upto now...!
