• Nov28-2017--The TLY protest has been ended after the government accepted almost all their demands...Law minister Zahid Hamid has resigned...a major general signed the agreement as a facilitator/gaurantor...The army chief was on holiday in the UAE and had to fly in to handle the government intransigence...!The IHC critisized the armies attitudes...this is the same arrangement that ended the PTI dharna...in which Raheel Sharif acted as the guarantor...!
  
• Nov27-2017--The defence ministers of the 40 state Saudi anti terror alliance met and suggested that they would seek intelligence cooperation and capacity improvements in the militaries...the three problematic states of iran, iraq and syria generally defined as shiite states did not attend...!nor did qatar which is emerging as the next US supported arab state...soon qatar could have a top of the line 75 military aircraft fleet...iran and turkey are key qatar supporters while pakistan which is supposedly iran friendly has announced a policy independent of arab states...!the foreign office and military are almost leaning towards the shiite alliance...they suggest that policy is aimed at acquiring expensive iranian gas...a project which has been stalled due to Irans hegemonic instincts...!Iran in the garb of a helping state has almost occupied lebanon, syria and iraq...The arabs accuse it of arming the militant Houthis in yemen and the Hezbollah in Lebanon...huge pictures of ayatullah Khomenei are displayed in Lebanons Bekaa valley while the saudis have called the ayatollah the new hitler for his sectarian violent nature...the city of Mosul was completely bombed out by the iranians just to deal with a few hundred Isis militants who frightened even saudi arabia...!
  
• Nov27-2017--The demonstrators or rioters attacked police in two places burning vehicles and police posts...two police SI's were also kidnapped...six or seven demonstrators were killed while one policeman is also said tobe dead...funerals were held by the protestors...one person was killed in front chaudhry Nisar ali khans house near faizabad which was also attacked...it ws defended by several armed police vehicles...two federal ministers are slated for resignation as a result of new negotiations if the TLY agree...!Apparently the military while interested in a coup was reluctant to handle the protests...and suggested that they only be used as a last resort against threats to the state...Rangers took up defensive positions to protect major buildings in islamabad...!The military is a proponent of talks with india, iran and afghanistan as well...none of those problems are near solution...!The interior minister suggested that the demos were hand in glove with india while others suggested that they had been instigated by iran...others joked that the government should contact iran for protecting itself as has been done by Syria's Assad...!262 demos supporting TLY held across punjab while karachi's roads were also protected by protestors...
  
• Nov27-2017--further reports of the armies obnoxious attitude are emerging...The army chief insisted he would only help if martial law is declared in islamabad...The government refused...The cowardly luxury oriented army is cringing from fighting the indians, afghans, iranians, IS and now the TLY...alternately they wanted to solve it peacefully...!!! a few hundred protestors would have been easy to handle with their supposed expertise...The government than asked for KP's Frontier Constabulary who also refused saying that it is largely a punjab problem...They than turned to shahbaz sharif for the Punjab Rangers who have been called in from the border...Shabaz Sharif was also turning nasty and said he would never send his police for any further operations...!The rangers now are in front followed by FC lines and than police lines...!yesterday most of the main highways in punjab were closed including N5, M2, M3 and M4 and schools were closed for two days...In islamabad government schools were open but private schools were closed for a day...school traffic ie. dropping and picking schoolchildren is almost 50% of the traffic in big cities...!you can see small suzukis called 'Dubbas" full of school children in the morning and afternoon...!
  
• Nov26-2017--rumours had persisted that the army chief was urging on the demonstrators and the government had also warned the agencies...however as the police moved in with tear gas the people felt a relief that the blockade on their lives would soon be over...This was islamabad's main entry point Faizabad and the city had effectively been blocked and movement of traffic restricted...The police moved swiftly and had reached the demos HQ...before things went wrong...The direction of the wind blew the tear gas back into the policemens faces...as the first demonstrators were dispersed new reinforcements arrived...more violent and throwing tear gas shells back and throwing hand grenades and stones...soon six people lay dead among them policemen......The government called in the army as a gunless police force could not handle the situation...rumours of the recent past suggested that retired military personnel were behind the demos who were smarting at their failures of instigating a military coup...The military under Bajwa and the unruly ISPR chief had been constantly critisizing the government...The ISPR chief was specifically arrogant and nasty to the government...!left, right and center...it all contributed to an inactive weak government frightened of taking actions supporting or opposing the protestors...Shahid Khaqan Abbasi seems weak and uncoordinated...he knows only LNG and supports the private sector...he quickly implemented his own petroleum views including stopping electricity power plants running on residual fuel which has harmful environmental effects...but that only caused load shedding that had almost stopped to reemerge...furnace oil shortages emerged as the import was stopped...the power producers did not have alternate methods...a primeminister now being called the sharifs puppet was said tobe trying to hang on till the next elections without doing anything...that does not work in pakistan...he should have quickly fired zahid hamid who was being labelled all sort of things alongwith being a coupplotters stooge and a ahmedi...The government has shown its inability to fire the problems...first they could not get rid of nawaz sharif and brought him back as a behind the scenes force...than they could not get rid of Ishaq Dar and than did a runaround on that...similary they refusd to fire zahid hamid and thus created the current situation...The Rangers are now in charge of the faizabad crossing...lets see what happens...!problems seemed tobe emerging in lahore and other cities as well...in lahore protests on the mall, faisal chowk and shahdara blocked traffic...there were problems in sheikhupura and silakot-pasrur where zahid hamids house was attacked...!This morning protestors at faizabad continued riots and attacked a police post...
  
• Nov26-2017--In a move considered surprising and ill advised the government ordered tv channels to stop reporting on the faizabad uprising...As the tv channels refused about seventeen tv channels were stopped from transmitting leaving K2 and PTV as the only channels on the air
  
• Nov26-2017--In Quetta a suicide attack on a FC convoy killing five...The target was a bullet proof Pajero type SUV which the military top brass now use normally...however the commander of the chilton rifles was not in the vehicle...the militaries/paramilitaries regular visible travel makes such vehicles the targets...
  
• Nov26-2017--The SC to takeup the Hudaibya case in which the sharifs acquired a second hand paper mill thru money laundering...!Initially Justice Asif Saeed Khosa was the head of the SC bench who recused himself...
