Mar30-2023--seems tobe a judiciary day...judge Aminuddin khan recuses himself from a suo moto on election date based on his own judgement...government passes a bill to reform suo moto cases, judges number/bench formation and allows appeal on all previous suo moto cases...if the CJ decides on the new replacement judge according to the government bill he would have to consult a three judge consultative committee...which the bill says will decide on suo moto cases.. the bill limits the CJ's present authority and could be struck down by the court although junior judges might prefer it...the main thrust of the bill is that the CJ and two seniormost judges decide whether a suo moto can be initiated...it also decides on judges composition plus cases of an emergent nature have tobe taken up in 14 days...judges have been upset by the registrar and CJ riding roughshod over nominations to benches in a dictatorial manner...as for judge isa he has been saved from a review appeal...judge isa is the son of a independence era muslim league leader and is the seniormost judge in the SC..as for the electoral date case there is precedent of delaying elections by about four months if not a few years(martial law era...)...however according to what we think is the judges thinking the judges could either accept Oct8 entoto or a provincial election date in two months or one month and reissue the same schedule and nominations already filed...accepting some minor changes or allowing two more days for more nominations...allowing elections in one month with all the appeals and printing etc..might be a rush...and what happens if a few more bomb blasts go off...(since judges are pooh poohing security threats or situation)

Mar28-2023--the CJ SC says that they only want to deliberate on whether the ECP can change election dates...however the ECP gave the armies refusal to patrol and the governments refusal to finance as reasons...The CJ offered Rs20 billion from the coffers of the SC...the status quo is now different...suggestions of the court include a constitutional amendment to cover all issues...and whether the IMF agreement will not hinder things in October...The SC can refuse to accept the constitutionality of the new ECP order and reorder the previous dates of the provincial elections...the impediment being that the provincial governments thus elected would be replaced by temporary caretakers during national elections or not...again something that the constitution does not cover...CJ Bandial sees it simply as a one point issue while the federal government wants a full 13 judge court...technically like the PTI most people think that elections might not be held until the PTI, PMLn, the army, ECP, SC etc. are all on the same page...!some time next year...!The CJ also seemed upset by the animosity in the political arena...that however is not a judicial problem otherwise he would have to call up imran, shebaz and the army chief to shake hands before announcing the courts verdict...in a football match referees, linesman and opposing captains all shake hands before the match...!In cricket they shake hands after the match...!
Mar25-2023--PTI leader says the party is afraid not me...he carefully forgets his lameness in politics since being shot..!as he used a fully enclosed air conditioned bullet proof /bomb proof container...apparently it disappeared after the rally and reports suggest that it was not properly made or was rented from the interior ministry/military contractor..and the PTI has a ordered a new one...!in the new one imran wont be able to open it from inside...!imran has a troubled time with stages and containers...the first time his stage collapsed and than he was shot in the legs...apparently a larger one has been ordered which may contain room for some of his phsycophants...an earthquake could knock it off its pedestal or a bomb blast could send it flying...shooting at a container so high up would be difficult even though it could be managed by a long range sharpshooter

Mar24-2023--Can SC order army to provide security cover for elections of a similar nature as it did in the last elections...can SC order provincial and federal governments to make funds available to ECP...can the SC order the punjab government tobe replaced by a caretaker regime for the duration of the national elections...these are the three questions that arise from the ECP decision to delay provincial elections till Oct8...can national assembly elections be announced without the dissolution of the national assembly!...the other question is whether there is a real security concern without army patrolling even the most tense localities...is security that much of a problem...will the PTI petrol bomb polling stations when police stop them...!or threaten to shoot them like Imrans nephew...!apart from that is the constitutional issue whether the ECP has that much authority...The SC can paper over the issue and decide that KP and Punjab elections can go ahead and they can be replaced with caretaker regimes when the national elections take place...!The issue of national elections is several months away and can be delayed or even cancelled for the time being...what the government could/would want is that the SC say that all elections can take place simultaneously and announce a new date in two or three months time...The SC in an almost heroic rebellious way can announce that all the provincial/national governments at the center/provinces are dissolved and announce that elections to it and all provincial assemblies can take place two months/three months after a caretaker regime is formed...if the ECP can stretch their authority so can the SC...a full bench can do that...!

Mar24-2023--IMF local rep says that the government can repriotise funds to fund elections...punjab government says that they have to maintain a balance of over 400 billion for IMF..both the federal finance secretary and punjab chief secretary have told the ECP that they cannot fund even the national elections...IMF also suggests that the government can raise additional revenues for elections..IMF running into political chaffe as its policies of controlling expenditures and raising taxes fails to generate a staff level agreement...IMF says it has nothing todo with politics and defence expenditures and there are a few points to deal with on the staff level agreement...!
Mar23-2023--CJ Bandial says that audio and video leaks have no judicial value while their political value is there...i suppose he means that when the videos and calls include serving judges..and that he will protect the judiciary from scurriless attacks...he also supported the ECP in the matter of transfers...however the CJ's views have been controversial on NAB amendments and whether a seperate NAB is even required when there are clear inconsistencies of NAB application..The government is calling for the SC to hear a reference against a sitting judge...there have been two recent references hearings against sitting judges with a difference on their evaluation due to individual complaints against the iSI and political leanings..two judges have been let off after clear financial implications of overseas investments and paid vacations in europe...

Mar23-2023--The assassination problemo...imran would be happy to die it was announced several times even in a suicide blast..than he raised a ruckus when somebody attempted that and said there were not one but three shooters and that everybody in the country should be nominated in the FIR...!...that continued until he recently saw assassins standing at the doors of the FJC in islamabad...he than refused to get out of the car...two days earlier he announced that he would be killed in the next two days...today is the second day and no killing has yet occurred...so is our terrorist opposition leader suffering from alzheimers or dementia...!and in the habit of lying and making things up...if you are ready to die than he should theoretically welcome assassins and killers...but that he does not do...so that/ theoretically he does not want to die...!we are wary of what he would shout from the hereafter..."mujhe kyun mara"...The dubious caretaker regime(pti's view) has constituted a police /ISI/Intelligence commission to probe the matter of seven assassination FIR's in lahore...the PTI says that the two police officers Imran Kishwar SSP/Aftab Phulwaran SP involved in actions against the PTI and instituting terrorist clauses in FIR's against it...Imran Kishwar the focal person of police in Lahore disappeared from the raid on the imran residence...
Mar23-2023--The new alto and swift earlier regarded as small vehicles cost Rs18-33 lakhs...so should they benefit from petrol subsidies even if their engines are say 660 horsepower...the government is going in for a complicated scheme of raising petrol prices by another 100 and than giving Rs50 per litre subsidy to those below 660 hp and two and three wheelers ie motorcycles and rickshaws...for the last few days i have noticed huge motorbikes generally blu colored on the roads...however the rush on the roads has again picked up...the subsidy is also a complicated process having tobe authenticated from a bank and paid later by the petrol pump...there are 24.5 million two/three wheelers and 4.35 million motor cars...annual sale of cars is set to fall to 0.12 million from 0.23 million last year...a number of car plants have been shut down due to import restrictions and lack of sales...
Mar23-2023--In what had been rumoured at the government level...the ECP cancelled elections in the punjab and announced Oct8 as the new date for provincial and national elections...the government was worried that the provincial governments elected earlier would interfere in the election process...and there would be no method to impose a temporary interim government for the elections duration while a elected government existed...one method could have been to declare the newly elected governments dissolved and new elections tobe held at provincial level for a second time...problematic too...however the ECP whatever its thinking was only worried about the security situation as the army had refused to provide cover...even in the last elections the army was only outside the polling stations i think barring karachi......however now with the PTI in total confrontation with the police the ECP found it as a supposedly compelling argument to delay provincial elections and hold them together with the national elections...The SC had allowed the ECP to delay provincial elections but that was thought tobe for a few weeks...The KP elections had already been cancelled by the governor...Now this is a constitutional enigma...upto now provincial and national elections have been generally held together...even if national elections are held first a constitutional void comes into play as an elected government can theoretically not give way to a interim regime for the elections duration...!so the judiciary which many assume given that it shows that it is totally controlled by the PTI is awaiting its new orders from imran the terrorist...(he is being called a terrorist because he had allowed the making of petrol bombs in his home and authorized their use on police vehicles...)...in islamabad they destroyed 21 police vehicles...the number in zaman park of police vehicles set on fire are not known...

Mar19-2023--In Lahore however the Police dismantled the gate of imrans zaman park residence and removed huge bunkers of sandbags and tents...they also found some weapons, marbles and petrol bombs...they say that they had warrants and section 144 was being violated...however several women including Dr.uzma khan and imrans wife and servants were present...the police cleared out the sandbags and arrested 61 Pti workers...they were seen thrashing a few who tried to escape...police announced on a loudspeaker that section 144 was in force and nobody is allowed to congregate..zaman park has become a nogo area and many thought imran wanted to become a altaf hussein but his ethnicity has caused a problem in a punjabi area...many suggest that the uncooperative should be handcuffed rather than thrashed or maybe the police should have thrown petrol bombs too...!
Mar19- 2023--as usual imran set off at 8:30 am from lahore to attend a court appearance at 8:00 am in islamabad...he got there late in the day after clashes between police and his partymen had taken place at several places...in the end his arrival was noted at the gate of the FJC and his warrants were cancelled and asked to appear on the 30th...apparently the appearance was signed by imran in his vehicle which was a mockery of the judiciary said azam tarrar...
