Sep25-2023--Kakar in response to american queries came out a bit and said that those jailed for arson and other offences such as cipher etc. could not make an election unfair..it is the general idea that imran will have to contend with several sentences...but with a SC which has his supporters he will probably go into the elections with cases sort of pending...he also reiterated that the ECP chief was imrans appointee even though he does not have to follow anyones orders...he even ridiculed thoughts of military interventions in elections...
Sep24-2023--there seems some unease in Nawaz sharifs demand for accountability in ousting him by bajwa, faiz hameed who mounted an anti PMLn campaign also in the imran era and crooked CJ's saqib nisar and asif khosa...they point to what happened to musharraf who was also put up at a flat in london..even if he could get them into exile that would be a success...the army chief already has faiz hameed under isolated house arrest but is supposedly friends with bajwa...The CJ's were imran men or opposed personally to nawaz...a full fledged military team was sending in questions and responses to...the cases concerned...but thats what generally happens in Pakistan

Sep23-2023--continuing on the IMF theme of tax the rich and put everyone on BISP...many think that nawaz sharif, shebaz sharif and the fledgling Kakar should be held in contempt by the people for the electricity tariff mess..Nawaz Sharif started the IPP's and created the biggest problem in capacity charges...shebaz sharif increased electricity charges to Rs50..and the new suit everyday Kakar introduced the meaningless quarterly charges..charging the three under NAB would be a big day for consumers...many think the rich power producers should also pay their share and capacity charges should be reduced by 10% every year...new agreements should not include any capacity charges...that should bring some relief to rich and poor consumers...others think that Sajjad Ghani, all Disco heads and the Nepra chief should also be charged under NAB for dereliction...still others think that the armed forces and power sectors salaries be reduced by 10% to pay for the electricity tariffs...!and we should put up the IMF people at B&B's...
Sep22-2023--The Election Commission has defined a possible election schedule of 54 days sans a election date...why everyone is afraid of a date is unclear...apparently Jan28 will be the possible election date in that scenario...The ECP has left the whole months of Oct/Nov for complaints/objections against delimitations as the preliminary delimitations list will be published on Sep27......if everyone just accepts the delimitations the elections could be held two months earlier i.e., end of November i.e., almost within 90days...! or objections to delimitations could be held simultaneously with the election schedule or be dealt with after the elections...
Sep22-2023--The IMF chief apparently told the dumb Kakar that she wanted him to tax the rich...he responded u mean Punjabis...!he has only mounted a electricity theft campaign against a few people in Punjab...here in Pakistan they i.e. the establishment and rich politicians regard everyone as rich barring four or five million people(Pakistan's population is around 225 million)...we would be happy if the IMF chief could come to Pakistan and define who she thinks is rich...below is the luxuriously rich IMF building in Washington...!There is none who is poor inside the IMF building...so i must say that the IMF has no idea about real poverty ... there is only a poor classification in Pakistan... those who use less than 200 electricity units(before it was 100 units and before that 50 units) and those who qualify for BISP...She should be more clear in her classification of who should be taxed...There is also a classification of filers and nonfilers (people who file for income tax and who do not...nonfilers are taxed more). Generally many regard 30-40% people as below the poverty line...the people would be very happy if the government policies were reflective of aiding people in the general poverty bracket...there is another classification that recently emerged those earning Rs.40000 a month do not need free atta...!

Sep19-2023--The supposedly Putin run PTI came out of hiding to protest selling of munitions to Ukraine by Pakistan to get desperately needed IMF funds with US help...The Intercept story a popular place for PTI propaganda denied by Pakistan foreign office...PTI says they want strict neutrality...similarly many point out that the buying of russian oil would also aid the russian war effort...The ukrainians are not in need of pakistani type small arms and bullets etc....as the fight is more in the realm of drones...however indians say Pakistan Ordnance Factories (POF) is all set to send 159 containers of 155mm artillery shells, M4A2 propelling bag charges, M82 primers, and PDM fuses to Ukraine...Pakistan is known as a production hub for the types of basic munitions needed for grinding warfare...PTI has again started its anti US campaign targeting Donald Lu..many think that the pTi is an almost anti US communist agent...Ukraine has a long history of ammunition/military sales to Pakistan..Pakistan acquired 300 T80UD tanks from Ukraine thru Poland and they also supplied us tank engines...apart from the ammunition sales the pakistanis will also repair ukraines T80ud tanks for $86 million...in exchange pakistan will also get knowhow to repair MI17 transport helicopters...the intercept story points out that because of all this Pakistan could delay elections and rough up the PTI...
Sep19-2023--Qazi Faiz Isa took over as CJ of the SC in place of the much reviled Bandial who was not even allowing judges to dissent...he went straight into a 15 judge full court on the Practices and Procedures law aired directly on television...while 15 judges looked too much for the simple law its opponents said that it reduced the authority of the CJ and only the CJ could make the rules.....the judges seemed to fade as there was not much to wrangle about on the case and seemed to suggest that it has more todo with the CJ than the court...however it seemed that the judges started to support the law as time wore on...the opposition kept insisting it was not a law and ridiculed the suggestions of the legislature in cutting the CJ down to size...however the new CJ seems to have no problems consulting senior judges on admin matters and consulting on initiating 184(3) and giving a right to appeal to its judgement on suo motu...lets see where this goes...a more open court that is not authoritarian in nature is a good idea...Isa thought the full court would interfere with normal cases.. they could easily wind it up saying there is no reason to challenge the law on fundamental rights or for other reasons...

Sep19-2023--Nawaz Sharif and his supporters should straighten out their views on the interim shebaz sharif government...reducing the population to the level of paupers and than saying they were doing it for this and that reason is totally unethical...The people too can shift support when they are going to be subject to the same sort of policies...the people can no longer wait for four years or ten years...suggesting that they will kick their supporters in the butt tobe in government seems tobe a silly point of view...The people should realize that Nawaz Sharif will run the same type of IMF run price escalation government like shebaz sharif...as dollar moves towards $100 whoever comes to power will prove tobe a another Kakar. or even worse a shebaz..fighting the demons of the past like asif saeed khosa, saqib nisar, past isi chiefs and army chiefs will prove counterproductive...the people hardly care about fighting military and isi chiefs as imran has already found out...and there is not not much u can do about past SC chiefs...
