Oct31-2023--emerging controversies in the cricket worldcup suggest that players not paid for five to six months despite having been given huge pay rises..contracts were despatched to india for signatures suggesting that players were not willing to sign earlier...Inzimam ulhaq a key culprit has resigned as chief selector....while the team is generally thought tobe selected on form some thought that a couple of new youngsters should have been included instead of a sifarishi or two...some suggest that inzimam might have been asking for a bigger share of the pie and some players were miffed at being paid less...players have generally gotten out to low scores and had problems playing spinners...inzimam said quizically that he would never select the the top indian spinner kuldeep yadav...!Inzimam is said to have problems of conflict of interest as he is a director of a company along with mohd rizwan that manages most of the cricket team and is based in london...!another controversy erupted when a WhatsApp message of Baber Azam was aired on a television show "stating that he had not made any phone calls" to the PCB big shots...the main problem with the team is that they have a problem with big hitting that is displayed by the other top teams..mostly that they can rarely hit sixes consistently...with that that in mind they should play steadily going for ones and twos...than their top hitter Fakhre Zaman having a good record could not get going at all and they had no real replacement for that...Baber and rizwan and some others got out to poor strokes...baber has a habit of playing in the air/giving catches to short midwicket and short mid extra cover..babers assessment of other teams seems to have been badly off the mark and u need a spin playing expert as a coach. The fast bowlers are also steadily improving and were not fit enough earlier...one is flabbergasted at the England team which is now at the bottom of the standings..probably treating the worldcup as a holiday or the players have lost the desire to win...some players get out they say when they think they have done enough..that should at least be when they have scored a hundred...Pakistan has gone in with a T20 type team or players that might look good in a test team...in a one day team u dont expect bowlers to bat...
Oct29-2023--Pakistan cricket team director arthur thinks that blaming the cricket coaches , captain and selector is a witch hunt...it is obviously their fault if baber azam thought so poorly of other teams that he thought they were a sure shot for the top four...than he lost to afghanistan after as usual playing a poor stroke in the air...Mickey Arthurs only job seems to sit around making faces...nobody had previously heard of bradburn...Inzimam is also to blame for not selecting up and coming century makers...most of his batsmen are typical 30-40 makers...no effort was made to find and develop a better spinner who could have been effective...a better alternative keeper who could thrash the bowling around i think was also available...if present form continues than there is nobody else to blame but the team heirarchy...the one aggressive batsman in the team was as usual for top competitions out of form...
Oct28-2023--we don't know when Pakistan will ever be able to win a world Cup with this mindset...ICC should make it difficult somewhat for batsmen...anyone who has had hair plugs should not be allowed to play...it gives them too much confidence...or something like it is a six only if u hit it from inside the crease Or only one six is allowed per over etc....South Africa controlled things right till the end and won with the last pair in...Pakistan as usual despair from being able to hit sixes like Warner. Their openers and the wild Rizwan decided they had done enough...and Osama came in for the tired Shadab...as a replacement and took two wickets...!Shadab's spin is useless and he should only be considered as a lower order batsman...Pakistan fast bowlers seemed to have gotten their protein fixes and bowled somewhat aggressively although Haris Rauf still got hit...Pakistanis hit a six each but u really have to go after the bowling to win...Baber Azam should sit it out if he and Rizwan cannot hit fast big scores...Pakistan, England, Nederland's and Bangladesh have lost their four matches here...if either New Zealand and Australia lose their next three matches and Pakistan wins their next three than they might squeeze into the semifinals as can Sri Lanka...but on form and substance that is impossible...England and Nederland's could catch up too...!

Oct25-2023--Pakistan has lost three of five matches in the worldcup...afghanistan upstaged them as a debutant spinner took three wickets...with several difficult matches remaining it is hard to imagine them making it to the last four..problems...failed spinners...many think its baber azams captaincy as most of the time he is looking around for advice in a daze...unsure...tell me what to do !..playing spin..how much they had to score against afghanistan...they should think like south africa who always target scores above 300...and than their failure to hit sixes...rohit has hit 17...quinton de coc 15...when baber attempts a big hit it turns into a catch...usama mir supposedly a big hitter...could not clear the fence even once..iftikhar has hit a few sixes..but those were never enough...a replacement captain...! shaheen/haris rauf/imamulhaq are the obvious choices...a replacement spinner they have one in the reserves...someone must advize haris rauf where to pitch and how a bouncer whizzing over the right/left shoulder can help... haris rauf is regularly being hit for six when he bowls around 150k......replacing the batting coach...these english/south african/foreign coaches are not working miracles...according to Dawn the wicket is always difficult for Pakistan and than it eases up...i say let the batters to play according to their skills...saud shakeel is short and should not attempt big hits...replace baber azam at number three...fakhar zaman...? if he can play his usual aggressive shots...
Oct24-2023--in a mind shaking event afghanistan easily walked/ defeated Pakistan in the worldcup...There was no initiative from the captain apart from his deliberately getting out...Baber Azam has been losing the strategy of getting his best fast bowlers going...The spinners were abysmal again ...ossama mir seems so innocuous that nobody had any trouble playing him...they must rope in their reserve spinner..the first twenty overs went for 120 runs with the fast bowlers refusing to set a proper field...pakistan must probably go for four fast and one spinner...haris rauf and shaheen afridi are failing to get the wickets that they used to. Maybe it is time for baber azam to call it a day as captain...shaheen should stand in for the rest of the world cup...might be the players thought afghanistan will stop anti Pakistan terrorism now...In Dubai afghan fans had attacked pakistani spectators after losing...!Baber azam supposedly favours the PTI...and has confused patriotic views..!probably he now realizes that playing in india is not the same as playing in Pakistan as Saud Shakeel said that we miss our fans and flags...a policeman walked up to one spectator a pakistan fan and said u cannot say 'Pakistan Zindabad'...!!!Inzamam ul haq(supposedly an indian) probably trying to captain from outside as Baber Azams brain gets fuddled/fried..Rizwan should also realize that this is not a T20...
Oct24-2023--In a controversial judgement by dubious minded judges a SC five judge bench has declared that the PTI has a constitutionl right to attack GHq's, military airfields, topple military statues, attack military graves and set corp commanders/army welfare offices on fire and the military cannot arrest them or try them under the Pakistan Army Act and their cases should be referred to criminal courts...The judges did not invite the judge advocate general to hear the military side of it...this is a political judgement favoring the judges personal political party...the PTI can now look forward to bail for their arsonists and possibly getting off the hook in the dubious civilian courts...it is nowhere said that attacking military infrastructure is a fundamental right of any sort...the judges have left open trials under a special court setup for offences against the military institution...it seems that the judges prefer the underhanded military intelligence/operations handling by disappearing the accused for various anti military acts/views...under the present rules the government can appeal from a different set of judges...!
Oct22-2023--nawaz sharif has maintained his party leaders support but he might be deficient in ordinary peoples support, like ordinary punjabis, or people who vote for the obvious winner...so he will have to work on the popular/populist angle somewhat...if the party still wants an anti peoples program than they should leave it to shebaz/ishaq dar types...given the situation nawaz should work on getting the maximum punjabi seats with some small numbers from Baluchistan, Seraiki areas, KP and might be even a few seats from karachi...and than rope in some coalition to make up the numbers...raking in the JUIf and even the mqm or one of the new ex PTI parties...in the extreme they could have a new PDM too if the PPP is amenable...onits own the PPP and its politics is just a sindhi party...a new party/think tank type of politically sidelined dissidents might also be in the offing named controversially "reimagining Pakistan" if Shahid Khakan Abbasi has the guts...shahid khaqan abbasi's father a airforce officer was a saudi military contracter and his wife is the daughter of a zia era ISI chief...!his father was killed in the Ojhri camp blast...he is also known as the former head of Air Blue an airline...many also think that Kakar might be a possible choice for a military coalition or even coup/setup...
Oct22-2023--apparently the employment situation is so bad that more than 450000 pakistanis left for attempts at jobs and education abroad during the first quarter of 2023...they say also daily passport applications have almost doubled to 45000...whether all the leavers are just seeking jobs or also going as tourists or for other reasons is unclear...there are few countries that allow visa on entry to Pakistan and i hear that Saudi arabia, Turkey and Azerbaijan are the favourite countries for Pakistanis to visit...shiites prefer visiting Iraq and iran...!

Oct21-2023--In a slightly controversial move the FIA moves to interrogate former army chief Bajwa's brother in law Sabir Hameed alias Sabir Mithu for money laundering...he and Bajwa and his daughter are accused of suspicious money transactions and building a plot dynasty of more than 30 dHA plots. Plots controversially/supposedly given by military commanders it is rumored. The dubious crookish Punjab caretaker chief minister gets 114 teachers arresting for protesting his policies...at least show some respect to teachers.....teachers boycott classes in Punjab for fifth day...many are suggesting that Shebaz was a stand-in in for imran and that Nawaz sharif maybe already tinkering with government policies...Nawaz sharif should be wary of difficult advice from Shebaz as many regard him tobe in the Imran-Fauji camp...
Oct21-2023--nawaz sharif the only brave kashmiri left in pakistan to land in islamabad after four years of exile...this was nawaz sharifs third exile which was initiated by the imran cabinet..after staying in islamabad for an hour or so he is to proceed to lahore for a jalsa...it seems to have been arranged to not create a problem at the lahore airport which was troubling the caretakers...!while nawaz sharif seems to want to avoid a lahore welcome the PMLn locally wants a big show so that they can again at least wave their flags...other parties regard the evil shebaz as having snuffed out all their support and making them irrelevant although they are worried that nawaz sharifs return or even that of shebz maybe the janaza of the PTI and PPP and to a lesser extent the PMLn in Punjab...!nawaz sharif who had at one time became the standard bearer of punjabi nationalism has become quite mild and many think he won't even go for a NAB ordnance amendment for accountability of the big shots in the army and beaurocracy forgiven by imran for whatever they do...it is said that elections are in January or later hopefully to see the end of Nawaz Sharif's cases and possibly those of arch anti military criminal arsonist imran...nawaz who has often critisized the military wants their accountability possibly in a more muted way...whether he will want national reconciliation of any sort is doubtful with imran the known spoiler of any reproachments...with a judiciary that is in a new phase too he may be looking at alternates as well like shebaz and maryam nawaz or some younger alternate to stand in for him if the courts go the wrong way...shebaz has created opponents that he did not have before and many think of him as evil and a devil in disguise the way he handled the IMF created inflation...to the detriment of the people...one cant be a generator of anti people politics to say it mildly and come in at a difficult juncture economically...

Oct18-2023--Kakar went to China and asked for solar parks and know how to set up industrial parks and special economic zones..things Pakistan has been doing for decades...chinese have allowed each of their 35 provinces to set up similar industries and ordinary farmers lug wind turbines to their farms...while pakistan has setup a similar system with low level industries/industrial zones/plots but with five of ten plants usually shutdown...kakar also apparently thinks that he is an israel type ally of china...israel gets 10-11 billion dollars in grants annually from the usa..many think biden/blinken ordered the attack on the palestine hospital...they did such things in afghanistan too including bombing weddings...apparently dubiously he thinks that CPEC has caused the geo economic landscape from gilgit baltistan to deepsea ports transformation , infrastructure upgraded and it is a catalyst for job creation and helping the less privileged from remote areas...one is actually dumbfounded at the lies although mean pukhtuns(the poor and under privileged of remote KP)run things everywhere from kiryana shops to naan shops, trucks, transport(buses) and restaurants and get all the state jobs...CPEC has mostly invested in the power sector and transport systems..roads and ports usually meant for the Chinese( who else needs to travel from the chinese border to gawader)...the power system after its upgradation has fallen back on daily multiple load sheddings and a slight storm shuts it down and now almost half the country cannot afford electricity...solar systems are easy to build...Tesla built a solar system in australia in a wall in a month...all u need are solar panels...tell discos to improve their systems, create redundancy, ability to bear storms and build a solar power station a month...we well know what has happened in Gawadar where people are protesting for water , jobs and sustaining their lifes...Kakar must be from some place in the affluent suburbs or dha's..some say he runs a dubious lootmaar type NGO...baluchistan does not know what he is talking about...they have to smuggle diesel because they cannot afford electricity or petrol or even a daily piece of bread and only 50% pay their electricity bills...The chinese must ask why he cannot build simple solar parks himself...or why people cannot afford electricity, lentils, sugar, tea, fish, mutton, vegetables, petrol, diesel, naans, cooking oil etc. etc....
Oct17-2023..many are wondering whether Nawaz will win and than be a weak pliable pitiable IMF oriented kakar or a strong people oriented leader...whether he can stop the IPP loot maar under the guise of high tariffs and capacity payments...whether he realises that ordinary people even those getting salaries cannot afford the high tariffs and expensive wheat...and basic naan...many think he should boot the IMF and kick them out of ordering policy of an anti people type..they go to the IMF even for just calculations...!...there are no qualms at reducing budget deficits with reduced development or even no development...whether he understands that huge provincial handouts will always have tobe paid thru 6 trillion high interest loans from banks...whether he can reduce the fauji budget , provincial handouts and payment on foreign loans to make ends meet...he should straight away say that he will not go for more foreign loans and reduce spending/salary hikes to zero if necessary...provinces and fauj should understand that...but his wrangling with the judiciary/NAB have either tobe put on hold as people see what he can do...NAB now is dominated with fauji officers from the top down so nobody can work without a deal or a new NAB ordnance...people donot want a primeminister who is in and out of jail...whatever the level of cases he faces...many wonder if he can in dubious circumstances rule thru a puppet primeminister...!The fauj had been earlier interested in a tryout for Bilawal but he wanted fauj tobe a sleeping giant without any foreign visits/connections and out of the corridors of power...current circumstances dictate that any development work at the center is not possible with private contractors and the FWO and NLC have tobe depended upon..people might have to realize that a vote is the only handout they can get...case in point imrans houses for the homeless..it got mired down as even street cleaning women with four houses wanted one and that got it bogged down into non existence...In sindh 10000 constructed houses could not even be allocated...!In islamabad attempts at building houses and cleaning out katchi abadis could not get off to a start even though several sets of buildings were constructed...the country should not have tobe held hostage to dollar price hikes, petroleum prices, electricity tariffs, imaginary industrial development and dubious economic expansions etc. Electricity monthly hikes now are trying to coverup fading bill payments by people who have always paid their bills...Discos should get rid of a huge do nothing employees burden and idiotic MD's whose only job is to order another FCA or quarterly adjustment...they now order FCA's for operation and maintenance / retirement payments/pensions/employee salaries cost already paid for...!privatisations of discos is a total failure when u compare KE and other Discos...there is almost no difference even on the quantum of load sheddings...Nawaz sharif should at least attempt to get more gas in the shape of LNG shipments and perhaps even the iranian pipeline...The USA continues to make deals with iran so what is stopping us...probably the hints of iran getting control of our tottering economy and whether iran has extra gas..they too face winter shortages...i thought china has e4lectricity over production at night that can be transported to pakistan...the gas/electricity minefield is littered with problems...Nawaz Sharif will be unable to rule with just homilies...others however say like Panda ...handle kar le ga..!

Oct16-2023--As nawaz sharif's return nears the PPP worries whether they can win/stay relevant or do anything in punjab what with the ex PTI party and a dubious PMLn which might be just an orderly of the IMF and fauj too..the PPP and PMLn as well as the PTI should realize that the fauj is usually helpful if they donot sit on their butt all day like Imran...who used to party daily with the army chief and iSI chief sitting in the sun all day on sofa's...the fauj is always there and Bilawal should learn to keep it in his pocket rather than make them a political advisory which they like to do if the government has no vision...The fauj on the other hand has to realize that daily tariff increases and dubious economic expansions paid for by saudi's are not what the people want...the government is creating fat cats with solar and putting people at the mercy of a dubious set of idiotic looting Disco MD's who donot know what people can afford or not...Nawaz sharif will have to deal with the courts even with a cooperative CJ..he should immediately reissue the shebaz NAB ordinance as otherwise NAB stops governance...an amendment to the Shebaz ordnance that allows the senior fauji officers and top beaurocrats tobe also brought under the purview of financial accountability..shebaz sharif who muted NAB provisions like imran earlier was on the right track..however politicians should keep their fingers out of the financial pie as they are usually very well off now ...there was the example of a PPP politician Chan i think who shut down his old cold storage due to high unpaid electricity bills and opened a new one...the disco apparently shut down both...
