Nov15-2023--In what seems tobe a prepared instant reaction to baber azams exploits of almost total failure the PCB fired baber azam as captain from all three formats after he supposedly resigned...Shan masood a doubtful selectee made test captain..this had been talked about during new zealands last tour...Afridi made t20 captain and all coaches transferred to the national cricket academy if they want...bowling coach resigned...mohd hafeez barely out of his playing days made director of cricket...no one appointed to the one day captaincy...the PCB probably prefers failed spinner shadab khan or failed wicketkeeper batsman sarfraz who dubious cricketer mohd hafeez said he liked playing under......however one thinks they are too close to the reasons for failure and they might look at the possibilities of mohd rizwan, fakhar and imamul haq...!shadab khan is also a niazi and could have the same destructive anti pakistan arsonist ideas as the other niazi imran ...The PCB should look for a more brilliant spinner and probably brighter middle order players..one blames baber azam despite his steady innings as he was just not as blazing as indian players, warner, quinton etc...Baber Azams record seems a mixture of wins and losses and clear failure in big tournaments...his win percentage as captain is less than 50%..probably only a slightly better captain in t20's...

Nov12-2023--today Dawn comes up with the view that Nawaz does not want the ladla tag...everyone likes being a ladla......apparently the situation seems that bilawal maybe a ladla in sindh but we are the kings in Punjab...Bilawal obviously does not know his history...zulfikar ali bhutto(a ayub khan minister and tashkent rebel) exiled the sharifs first after nationalizing their sole factory and when the coup came nawaz sharifs father called him 'puttar fauj agaye he wapis ajao..."...the fauj returned his factory and the rest is history...however he still blames them from delaying pakistans and his industrial/lawyer(he dropped out of george mason) destiny...the hostility towards the sharifs is historical in the bhutto's or PPP types...than the activist punjab judiciary and ziaul haq hanged bhutto...since than sharifs collaboration has been almost continuous leading to the IJI coalition and changa manga after he made his fortunes in punjab politics...but the ups and downs have been their alongwith two exiles, coups and constitutional topplings ending with benazirs assassination... a period of calm ensued with the prominencof a dubious judicial activism that was directly against politicians and primeministers... which ended with the PTI riots in May2023...the animosity and chagra with nawaz sharif may have ended and probably the fauj now seems comfortable with nawaz after the imran imbroglio...the fauj does not want to mix governance or its control with arsonists and typical anti fauji attitudes but who will tell that to the pti supporting judges...while primeministers always get into some trouble with the fauj and the iSI... Nawaz hopes to smoothe his way into some sort of power...however the ladla's always need the peoples votes...and Nawaz will have to work on his core group supports which were upended by the pukhtun afghan anti sharif coalition...probably a different election and Bilawal probably lacking zardari's experience might be looking at the anti fauj vote in the PTI ranks and attracting his supporters/ lotas back from the PTI... which i suppose several parties want to attract and divy up...i dont think that the PPP can gain much support opposing/ridiculing Nawaz Sharif and taking punjabis for fools...they have seen the pukhtun dynasty crumble and probably a new situation will eventually develop and if Nawaz Sharif succeeds... he'll be the kingmaker or primeminister again...!The contest at this stage is between Nawaz and Bilawal and it remains tobe seen what happens eventually in terms of the PTI and imran...
Nov12-2023--in what could provoke a constitutional crisis the KP chief minister has passed away...no clear method on how to appoint a CM in a caretaker setup...azam khan made a career out of the caretakers setup...the previous appointees are now out of government...
Nov12-2023--Asad Umar who has been treated with kid gloves by the establishment has retired completely from politics...he had been kicked out of the pTi by imran after resigning as the PTI secretary general..he says he disagreed with the policy of confrontation followed by imran...asad umar was at odds with imrans attitude in the past too...
Nov11-2023--court orders unfreezing of Nawaz Sharif and his families assets...his assets include shares in four companies, eight accounts, a landcruiser, two mercedes, two tractors, properties in murree and changla gali and agricultural land in sheikhupura and lahore measuribg 88 kanals and 105 acres...PPP's latent hostility against the PMLn comes to the fore with Bilawal labeling it as the kings party and wants a level playing field...probably it shows the desire for the backing of the establishment...technically only one party and smaller support groups are supported by the powers that be...it is just like the PPP wont allow the PMLn into interior sindh and the PMLn too has the desire to safeguard Punjab as its turf...
Nov11-2023--Justice Mazhar Naqvi objects to composition of the SJC even the Cj as chairman...apparently the judge is also involved in audio leaks and is being investigated by a CJ Isa led audio leaks commission......There are a whopping 29 complaints against the judge and he also complains that the complaints have not been provided to him...! the composition of the SJC is a constitutional setup which include CJ SC , one or two seniormost judges and two provincial high court judges...

Nov10-2023--PIA whose problems just go on increasing is supposedly going to be privatised... ..something that was planned over and over again...PIA whose net worth is almost zero seems unable to even pay for fuel...most of its planes are old and the rest are on lease...its schedule uncertain ..government supposedly will take up its debt and useless employees will be let go...nobody has any sympathy left for around 20000 employees...so if its other units are seperated than its just some old planes and buildings...the new owner probably wont need the buildings too..so if u ask anybody for a bid they might look at u in surprise as most arab airlines have over a hundred newer planes ...even Egypt Air has 67 new planes...The name PIA just means failure...most airlines have their own international network and that only leaves PIA's domestic setup...best sell it some local airline if they can manage...china air and qatar airways could do it as a charitable act...other options include fauji foundation...or might be muslim commercial airways...!airlines like turkish airlines and thai air fly to almost destinations daily...
Nov10-2023--health minister in two ministers and the center are a bit dubious in intent..in sindh the health minister cancelled the contract for robotic surgery systems for three government run hospitals..the chief minister a dubious former CJ type said he he knew nothing and went off to the SIUT to find what sort of robot did surgeries...the health minister said he was interfering in his deptt...in punjab which has two health ministers they ran a charade in which a dubious cancer injection was injected into the eye and more than sixty patients went blind...the centers health minister trying to reinvent the bHUs by repairing numerous BHU's which were lying unused or in disrepair or had no staff... with the intention that islamabads two hospitals would be relieved of their burdens...this is an old theory which failed repeatedly...the dispensary type bhu's were either lacking staff or basic medicines..unless BHU's have basic things like blood testing, x-rays, ultrasound and most important a couple of doctors and ample medicines they will fail again...he also wants to charge the affluent at government hospitals...while the health minister in kp has withdrawn private hospitals from the sehaat card...
Nov9-2023--CJ Qazi faez isa backs down on a complaint against loot and plunder by Faiz hameed ex isi chief and redirects the complainant to the army institution and lower courts......complainant accuses faiz hameed of malicous raids and occupation of his housing soceity with Rangers and iSI men involved and looting cash and 400 tolas of gold in iSI raids...!in another complaint a women said that the complainant had looted her properties...one wonders when a fundamental right can be invoked...only when imran and the PTI are involved...!when the countries supposedly top class intelligence agency does bad things to an individual does not that violate the citizens fundamental right of security...!Isa seems tobe on dubious grounds on this one...

Nov8-2023--PMLn and mqm-P agree to cooperate and form an alliance after the polls...MQMp says at the moment it is just a seat adjustment...PMLn looking at alliances in provinces as the PPP/PTI and grumble about the situation...specifically the PPP wanted an alliance with the PTI while the PMLn wants to avoid the iPP/PMLq...JUIF, PTIp could come out in front in KP with the PTi as a third force..the PTi looks badly positioned in sindh and Punjab too while many think that the IPP and PMln could fight for the spoils in the Punjab...

Nov3-2023--ECp announces a Feb8 election date after consultations with SC and president...major political parties call for a unclear level playing field...free and fair elections...elections can be open , transparent but everyone has to depend on the votes they get...there can technically be no fairness in that...Bilawal Bhutto tries to cozyup to the PTI as their punjab members look at a possibility of a coalition with the leaderless pTI...specifically the punjab is going be a tough place to contest for the PPP ...IPP holds its second meeting in hafizabad after jahanian and suggests a 50000 wage, subsidies on electricity, and reduction in petrol prices...this technically the second public electoral gathering after nawaz sharifs jalsa in lahore...most parties have problems with cases in courts and nobody really knows who controls the processes ie the courts, police or caretakers...or the army aka establishment..what the PPP is asking for is unclear as they have less problems than others...but they probably will have more problems getting votes in Punjab which is not a controllable phenomenon...
Nov3-2023--Pakistan go into their crunch match against New Zealand who have lost their last three matches and have two top bowlers matt henry and lockie ferguson injured apart from injuries to key players kane williamson, Mark chapman and james neesham..they have called up Kylie Jameson also returning from injury...Pakistan had a tough time playing kylie jameson the last time they played him...not much should be read into pakistans victory over bangladesh who have lost six of their last seven matches...both new zealand and Pakistan have a poor recent record in india...but new zealand have consistent top three batsmen...while Pakistan need to win their last two matches New Zealand , Australia and afghanistan need to win one to stay ahead of them...afghanistan have won four of their last five matches but have to play top teams australia and south africa...pakistan might play four seamers and go with iftikhar ahmed to open with his off spin...pakistani pacemen have taken most of the wickets upto now...however they could post a good total and make New Zealand chase...lately they have made a hash of that...the new zealand batting lineup is top heavy and they can only get going if they play aggressively...their middle order is injured and they might have to depend on spinners to make up the team...
