Feb15-2024--There seem tobe few primeminister candidates apart from the PMLn where even Nawaz Sharif is refusing to join the deliberations...Shebaz not very popular in his first stint but was able to take along the establishment..The PPP backed out in exchange for both speakerships and all governors and president...The failure of maulana fazlur rehman who has a habit of siding with the wrong party to dent the PTi in KP has been a big problem for them...most parties apart from the PPP and PMLn are protesting the rigging even though it is illegal to protest against election results apart from going to the ECP and tribunals...the PMLn nominee has asked the PTI to show a majority which is impossible for the tongue tied inability of imran to get along with anyone but small sectarian /religious groups...a photo from the PTI website shows the possible coalition that might come to power who have plus 150 seats...they will get women seats in proportion to their provincial seats and minority seats in proportion to their total seats...The PTI is running into trouble in forming a coalition with the JI in KP...JI seems to think that alliances with seperate parties in seperate legislatures is not a good idea...and thus the PTI might be only in a coalition with the dubious pro iranian/iranian educated clerics -- Mwm at the center which will not get them any reserved seats...technically the PTi independents will have to join a small party...or survive as a independent group...Bilawals suggestion that they were not angst ridden and were not angry or dagger drawn against other parties lasted only for a few days as he blew up at the mqm...earlier he had spearheaded a dirty anti nawaz sharif campaign...

Feb11-2024--PTI raising problems in PO/RO isssued forms 47 and 45...forms 45 are issued at polling stations while form 47 is a consolidated number...PTI despite having done quite well is disputing almost all results won by other parties...and even challenging results in KP...where it has literally swept the elections...before they used to say that form 47 or 45 not given...now they are claiming differences in 45 and 47...many suggest that the duped/mesmerized/hypnotized PTi pukhtuns did not learn to count...many suggest that Pti leaders should be send for phsychiatrist analysis especially imran and goher.......there was one pti wali in south punjab who was claiming victory even after having lost and suggesting that the PPP wala should accept defeat...nawaz sharif also seeking a recount in mansehra...
Feb11-2024--The army chief seemingly thinks that Pakistan has not achieved its potential and the country must move towards stability and away from chaos...he called for healing alliances...PTi's gohar responded that the military should release political prisoners and accept their mandate as the only healing touches possible...with the PTi refusing to ally with anyone but the Mwm(majlis wahdat muslimeen)(typical shiite organization run by clerics with an iranian type agenda)/JI...whether those parties have filed lists for women and minorities is not known... that leaves the pdm type parties who seem daggers drawn against each other too...zardari is ready to throw his anti punjab son into the sea for another jab at the presidency..bilawal rushed off to meet the US ambassador suggesting that he wanted either some push from the US or that he is back in line for the foreign minister...others suggest that the pdm may have suggested to the US to use its influence on the PTi...it is unfortunate but Pakistan has no major avenues/resources of economic advancement and the military and politicians must accept the status quo and the country must live within its means...Pakistan can only move slowly forward and there is no quick achievement magic wand...instability is bound to occur if economic conditions are not stable...current stability is due to the high salaries/perks in the fauj and beaurocracy...our imports increase because we face shortages in raw materials, machinery and good quality products as well as shortages in oil, gas, electricity, food oil,lentils, machinery etc...dollars are used to increase the wealth of the rich, currency traders, politicos, pukhtuns and retired generals...and other dollar hoarders such as exporters and expatriates and even foreigners...our exports go up and down with demand...the only thing that has kept pace is foreign remitttances which is almost the same as exports...but is now also going up and down after the increase of inflation worldwide...the fauj is unable to handle terrorists both regional and local and political animosity ...The country must limit internal and external borrowing...The country has serious problems in management being unable to run things like the railways, pia, steel mills, discos, power stations and even construction of things like dams and hydel power stations has tobe left to the chinese...even vegetables, like onions, tomatoes, ginger, garlic, chillies have tobe imported...

Feb10-2024--the PTI may join the MWM a shiite party backed by iran/created in afghanistan and supporting the PTi... they have a seat in parliament...gohar ali khan says they dont want to align with PMLn or PPP...although reports suggest that PMLn interested in coalition with PPP while other reports suggest that Bilawal's only chance is a coalition with the PTi and is supposedly meeting imran in jail...other reports suggest that Gohar ali khan or Omar Ayub maybe the primeminister if they can work around the rules and who probably donot have any establishment problems...establishment problems are like opposition by the army or involvement in May9 cases...so far 212/266seats have been announced at one in the morning and the PTI has 82, PMLn 64 and PPPP forty...supposedly the mqmp/JUIF/IPP reportedly will have 26 seats...PPPP set to win about 50 seats...so a PMLn/PPPP coalition maybe ahead of the Pti unless they can arrange to get women and minority seats...that makes a supposed PPP/PMLn coalition getting around 145 seats....with the PTi ending up with around 120-125...The PPPP-PMLn also may have a new man in charge although others suggest that nawaz/shebaz/zardari could head the coalition if they agree on the basics...
Feb9-2024--The 2024 elections generally have gone the same way as 2018--The PMLn have shown better results but have been unable to stamp their mark on things...The PTi have swept KP and JUIf has disappointed in Kp suggesting that they again voted PTI...The ANP again emerged in KP...while the PTI independents are the largest single group at around 110 in the NA where they will have to join some small party to not lose reserved women seats and form a government...They can do that in three days and there are several small parties who would be willing to bag them...!...The PMLn's coalition with smaller groups will get them at around a hundred...their only chance is to join up with the antagnostic, nasty PPPP and some small parties to equal the independents huge total...The IPP and PTIp have disappointed..The PPPP show better results in karachi and punjab and KP to shore them up in third place.The loss of internet almost all day put the ECP in a difficult spot and their new result system collection again failed to function...nine lives lost in violence reported from di khan and kharan..22 explosions/grenade attacks in gwader, kech and panjgur..armed men attacked sixteen places in gwadar...five cops killed in DI khan, two more die in a previous blast in khanozai, three bodies found in tank......balochistan results not yet clear but as usual no major group has emerged..barring the sindh and KP provincial governments the other governments are still up in the air... whether the PPP and PMLn can break off large chunks of independents is anyones guess with the independents and PMLn neck and neck in the punjab provincial assembly...the PTI independents cannot form a government in the center unless they join a small or large party...around 170 needed to form a government at the center...in the present shape u could have two parties with a hundred plus votes each...or a remote possibility could be allowing the PTi a minority government...
Feb8-2024--The PPP which has suppressed everybody in karachi and sindh now suggests that they only have anger left for the sharifs with whom they were always daggers drawn...Bilawal has been unable to show any difference in his attitudes towards Punjab and Punjabis and many see that as having helped Nawaz Sharif pick up the pieces and become the only viable candidate...viz Punjab...however as the PPP double dealing image has fallen by the wayside the election has given the independents a big chance given Bilawals anti PTi/PMLn attitude and his experience in breaking up the PTi group in the karachi LG polls...he has tried to make the Pti think that their voting is useless...however any chance that bilawal has rests on the independents winning big and than becoming allied to the PPP...however the media again suggests that some sort of zardari-PMLn alliance may govern with a PMLn primeminister and PPP president...the PPP and bilawal himself think that Bilawal is largely unimportant in the PPP context...if a consensus primeminister is required based on results than the parties may look at someone from south punjab like tareen who is largely a more sensible person than Bilawal...KP might be unable to provide someone though it could vote Juif /PTIp to bring the maulana/khattak some chance...so if the pMLn does not make a large enough win it could be anybody barring the anti people price fixer Shebaz and softy developer Nawaz Sharif…Baluchistan too can throw up a candidate if they vote for one group...Shebaz killed his own chances by suggesting that he would still be going to the IMF...the people however have been programmed to think that voting for the PMLn might be the only option they have given their attitudes to completing projects and favorable development in areas they dominate in...however the people are known to throw up some surprises and this election could throw up the most unlikely of scenarios too...

Feb7-2024--PTI files review petition...against SC upholding ECP's bat decison...the PTi thinking is seriously compromised as actions in various cases against the party were going on for several years...things like the parties illegal foreign funding, intraparty elections issues are several years old...PTI was unable to show whether there were multiple nominations , collection of fees and any record of the elections which it said had been deleted... the objections were filed by known party members who had not probably been allowed against party nominated candidates...The PTI also has no known system of countrywide voting...however the PTi insists that the eCP is biased and is not treating other parties similarly...suggestions rejected by the court...however the party insists that it should get the benefit of doubt on freedom of association and disenfranchisement...however at this late stage the judgement would have to take into consideration that elections are tobe held tomorrow and even if the SC overturns its own judgement which is a rarity new elections would have tobe organized in 90 days since it covers both provincial and national elections...The PTi habit of complaining and complaining and appealing and appealing has no particular admirers apart from its mesmerized/duped rank and file...recently one old PTi hand said that the pti candidates were generally independent anyway...as far as interfering in the processing and filing of nominations the pTi has more candidates around than other parties...it's independent candidates are standing on 246 seats which are more than any other party and are challenging the other main candidates albeit on different symbols......since the party is now not an authorised party it cannot be allowed to hold meetings and rallies and jalsa's...the other matters of police interference in gujerat and lahore also relates to May9, candidates and families infighting...no particular decision was announced on the foreign funding fiasco...

Feb6-2024--Elections round the corner...the PPP floundering even in Karachi with nothing solid for a long period of provincial government in Sindh...Karachi might see the most change as the PTi, MqmP and wafa parast(mqm London) battle the recent gainers in support the JI and PPP...last time the Pti had 21 seats in Karachi but are now literally hanging onto the grass...which is rare in Karachi...the Bilawal rally to PPP areas seemed tobe poorly supported with more cars than people...on the countrywide front a more open contest with the Pti trying to keep its support in KP and theoretically losing it in the Punjab...imran is technically racist in trying to keep the leadership in the hand of whites as he savors the pleasures of jail...and... iddat...recent attitudes in governance reflect the PMLn attempts to surge the country forward in roads, transport mechanisms and power availability...Nawaz Sharif even claims to have started the health cards in Islamabad...Shebaz crashed the economy and increased everything...prices, tariffs, dollar rates, wheat prices, inflation, petroleum prices, pharma prices etc...that policy of high inflation has continued under the caretakers...bringing it down to reasonable levels may only be possible to some extent unless they can free themselves of the IMF...The PPP only offers Sindhi politics...Imran whatever his real intentions barely scratched the surface in development(continued some PMLn projects) and some also... only in Islamabad...his health cards were successful in KP but have been pulled down by donors and subsequent economists...south Punjab seems relatively more developed than on the surface...controls the Punjab electricity scenario...some universities in south Punjab are more developed than many in upper Punjab...development and political power are two different things...also does not have one political group...with support spread out between the IPP, PPP, PMLn and PTi...KP might see more of the PTi and the rest of the spoils going to the PTIp, JUIf and some PMLn and might be some ANP too...That puts up a three way divide between the PMLn - PPP - independents...nationally...with whoever else can scramble votes here and there...the situations in Baluchistan and who does well there and KP might have some limited effects...however what happens if the independents win big and who they ally with or not is the major question...however recent suggestions from mainly Punjab suggest that if they want development on the local and federal level than the PMLn is the only party with that manifesto or mindset...on the local level development ended with Nawaz Sharif and they have not been able to start any project in Rawalpindi at least since...In Islamabad Imran's projects on the periphery and to Bahria were not completed and the caretakers/Shebaz have struggled to complete anything...Shebaz came flying in and tried to complete the flyovers over Park Road and a bypass to Barakahu......the PPP manifesto has nothing for the Punjab...whom they seem to dislike as much as they do the mqm...
