Dec26-2022--six supposedly grenade attacks in various parts of Baluchistan...during a clearance operation in Kahane an IED struck a military vehicle killing five...in another operation in Sambaza a military man and a terrorist were killed...the government is blaming the recent attacks on imran's friendliness with the TTP...imran and taliban found signaling to each other......Ayaz Sadiq also urges the former army chief to explain his role in the previous elections and respond to imrans dubious criticisms...the PDM has often accused Bajwa of bias in the previous elections and in a lunch meeting with him had urged him to become neutral..it was after that meeting that the PDM agreed to a no trust which they had been postponing for two years...
Dec26-2022--Imran says he has established contact with Asim Munir but that is said tobe doubtful as he carefully stays away from politics...however his hope is that the PDM will collapse if he dissolves the punjab and KP assemblies...PDM might see it as easier to have elections in two shifts...April and October...than people will see how the Pti governs the two provinces after that...Pti which has no real provincial programs and in this government only completed a couple of the previous governments projects such as the Orange line and sukkur motorway...the PMLq is looking at gains in the number of seats...as the Pti is so dependent on their support inside and outside the assemblies...there is no indication that the PDM will dissolve the national assembly after the two provincial governments fall...the Pti might be looking at the waning days of the year when the economy usually improves or meets some targets...otherwise the the PTI has no specific economic improvement measures...with the reclusive imran refusing to meet anyone the situation will not improve in any way after the elections whatever the results...
Dec25, 2022--The PMLn or PDM has succeeded in delaying the dissolution of the Punjab assembly and the KP Assembly too is just an onlooker..The LHC has many opposing it on suspending the governors order to denotify Pervez elahi...on the assurance that the assembly will not be dissolved till the Jan11 decisions of the court...the governor had ordered a confidence vote on wednesday which the speaker refused to conduct...and he than denotified Pervez Elahi..which is constitutional...shebaz sharif thinks that they can take it to the SC...and get the Punjab government too...Pervez elahi thinks that if he gets a confidence vote the court will overlook his constitutional mistakes he can dissolve the assembly..Imrans dream of a election in march is over and the PDM does not seem to worry about a caretaker rule for three or six months...it might not be easy for pervez and hamza to decide on a caretaker setup with imran pulling pervez elahis strings...Imran can rest upto october and might be get off the wheel chair...he was seen hobbling around with a christmas cake they say...

Dec25-2022--The failures of Baber Azam landed on the PCB and it was replaced by Najam Sethi and co...however a dubious 14 member management committee immediately lost Sana Mir and Shahid Afridi...Afridi came in as a selection committee head with Razzak and iftikhar anjum...he increased the squad needlessly by three to nineteen...his selections were dubious at best...sajid khan, hamza khan and shahnawaz dahani...there are already three competent spinners in the side and one dubious one in mohammed nawaz...hamza khan is probably one of the least selectable although dahani is an upcoming fast bowler...with a dustbowl expected at karachi more seamers were not needed...there are already three competent fast bowlers in the side...in the previous series spinners dominated and they really used the fast ball properly...so if not three even four spinners would work while the fast bowlers are not going tobe used too much... just one fast bowler plus three spinners would be adequate...i would play kamran ghulam and even abu hureira since salman and saud are absymally slow...mohd rizwan is a good wicketkeeper but he does not dominate batting in tests...sarfraz though adequate is just an old man of the sea...i would rather callup shahvaz irfan...

Dec18-2022--this is Dawns take on the generals...bajwa they say treated imran like a pet cat and imran listened and did his bidding like a tail waving dog...at one stage it was thought that Bajwa thought of imran as a father figure...however towards the end of his tenure imran turned nasty and wanted the army to follow his orders rather than vice versa...that had Bajwa unnerved and sad...Bajwa like other generals liked the popular Pti that he was easily handling...imran the ruler in waiting and the willing disciple..the army loves a popular government doing its bidding...the fault they say does not lie with the army but primeministers who cant handle things...things like covid and karachi nullahs and baluch and KP tribal insurgencies...many suggest that the new general in chief was behind the thrashing of anti bajwa or anti army walahs in the Pti...thus giving him the edge over other Lt. Generals...the army was on edge as imran tryed out/suggested the iranian model...strategically and politically...the army does not handle world isolation well...they like tobe onstage with the US like a nuclear power but sort of subjugated but who can talk...imran was nasty to political opponents but his tigers did not handle it as well as the IRG....the people, army and politicians all do not like subjugation
i would suggest that the situation is tailor made for a coup...a nasty and anti army Pti set to win elections and willing to subdue the generals...!the politicians must be wary and not create a totally uncontrolled situation..The army does not like a country at war with itself and can willingly move in to control it...no one must think that a country going down the path of chaos and economic ruin will not invite a real actual intervention...being apolitical and allowing elections and winners coming into power is one thing and not listening to the military is another...that would a cause a power grab Bajwa style which is easy or might be the various other models round...
Dec17-2022--Faiz Hameed whose transfer from the the ISI caused Bajwa and Imran to sort of breakup has said that he will never join politics...apparently small gatherings at his house in Chakwal raised the alarm that he may take over the PTI if imran is arrested or removed from the position of PTI chairman. He was also suddenly removed from the Peshawar corp also where he was said tobe making some headway with the TTP...however things cooled down in Afghanistan after his transfer many think while the TTP reportedly started to move back into Pakistan...his appointment as army chief was opposed by Maryam Nawaz...Imran had said that the ISI chief was his eyes and ears...a bullet was fired at Maryam Nawaz's car and Imran pursued her nastily in Nab trials...Asif Zardari had said that he was sidelined...however Bajwa and the government went with the senior most army officers. Faiz Hameed had resigned before the appointments...a retired officer has to wait two years before joining politics. He had risen to fame on the coattails of the TLP which had started to attract the religious vote...earlier he was bald headed and now has a good head of hair from plugs...
