White chickpeas are being sold at Rs450 per kg, red beans at Rs440 per kg, mash pulse at Rs550 per kg, gram pulse at Rs360 per kg and moong pulse at Rs340 per kg.
Flour is available at Rs155 per kg, refined flour at Rs165 per kg and gram flour at Rs350 to Rs380 per kg. Juice is being sold at Rs1,000 per bottle.
Among fruits, apples are being sold at Rs300 to Rs400 per kg, guava at Rs250 to Rs300 per kg, pomegranate at Rs700 to Rs800 per kg, strawberries at Rs650 per kg, grapes at Rs700 to Rs800 per kg, papaya at Rs350 to Rs400 per kg and watermelon and melon at Rs200 to Rs250 per kg.
Bananas are being sold at Rs200 to Rs300 per dozen, while kinnow, malta and oranges are priced between Rs300 and Rs400 per dozen. Chinese pears are being sold at Rs500 per kg and coconut at Rs500 per piece.
Chicken meat is being sold at Rs520 per kg, mutton at Rs2,500 per kg and beef at Rs1,400 per kg.

Mar1-2026--Alireza Arafi obviously an Ayatollah has been named as the interim successor...peshkian, ali reza and the chief justice will run the country initially...he runs the seminaries and probably knows the value of people... supporters, followers and opponents...and policies that need changing...The iranian president a relative moderate has obviously opted to keep things under control and the system which has widespread support in Iran seemingly has brought in a conservative visually trying to look tough...support and stability comes over time and how he runs things...however there has been widespread bombing damage and at least 40 senior military and religious figures have perished with widespread destruction of official buildings...shiites revel in mourning and death and that controls generalized behaviour...despite the proxy wars, protests and suppression khamenai had a lot of support on the religious side...with the military and IRG leadership decimated alongwith advisors to khamenai a new younger group will have to take control and handle things..militarily they still lack anything apart from missiles , oil and the strait of hormuz and will probably face further attacks on military installations...they should obviously sue for peace and start some negotiations to achieve some interactions and normality...iran has fired missiles at almost all arab cities and israel including oman, riyadh, dubai, jordan , doha, qatar, uae, with some causing more damage in bahrain..there have been attacks on places other than US bases like residential areas,airports, ports and hotels...In the present situation further attacks from both sides will cause further trouble and instability in iran and possibly the oil market ...with Iran almost isolated apart from a few countries...countries opposing attacks on iran include china, russia ,the crazy pakistanis and the UN..israel is a bad influence on the USA and with the USA has decimated iranian proxy leaders and the leaderships in Iran since Suleimani was eliminated by Trump...

Names circulating in Tehran include Sadeq Larijani, the former judiciary chief and a close aide to Khamenei; Alireza Arafi, who oversees Iran’s seminaries; Mohsen Araki, a longtime member of the Assembly; Mohsen Qomi, an adviser within the Supreme Leader’s office; and Hassan Khomeini, the grandson of the Islamic Republic’s founder, Ruhollah Khomeini.
The only difference in shiite ayatollahs is whether they are milder, moderate or strict theologians...a moderate choice could bring peace to the middle east although by nature the religious shiite elite will have the same system, behaviour and aggressive militarism that has brought iran to this stage...Irans fighting nature will bring its assets to the fore and cause more and more bombardments as Trump if he can foment change said.."see u a few years later"...irans best hope is for the democrats to win the next US presidency..There is very little chance of the monarchy being restored at the moment
Mar1-2026-- According to media reports Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenai has been killed in US strikes...it was announced early saturday...some family members also killed including daughter, son in law and grand daughter..he was in power since 1989 and was responsible for brutal suppressions...the recent uprisings and killings were said tobe the worst after the killing of Mahsa Amin in police custody and resulting protests...Iran was involved in many of the midde east problems but has had to face problems by the US and israeli elimination of its proxy and IRG leaderships...the gulf oil problems may exacerbate due to closure of the Hormuz and how long this war lasts although there are outside sources of oil and there has been no immediate surge of oil prices
