Mar16-2026--the war in Iran has shifted to politics on the Hormuz which is blocking arab states oil exports specifically..while the outputs at the arab states have also been restricted by irans attacks..however Trump still insisting on military targets and says irans missile and drone attacks have fallen by 90%...Iran has been sending out some tankers which could be stopped outside the gulf as has India...The US has only a limited reliance on mid eastern oil...and wants its weaker and dithering allies to come and safeguard the Hormuz to keep it open..these allies are generally UK, Australia. Japan, China, south korea etc that rely heavily on mid eastern oil...Italy, canada and Germany have refused while only France shows some willingness..after the ukraine conflict europe was relying heavily on arab LNG....however most countries have two to three months of reserves...and would have to shift to russia or some of the smaller producers in africa, latin america etc..Pakistan says it has 21 days reserves and could have some access to saudi oil...Pakistani refining capacity is limited but has some oil wells..There is also a lot of hoo haa over whether Netenyahooo is alive or not or injured...leaders many say are easy to replace..
