Aug17-2026--This is classic divide and rule stuff...Eventually there will be no Punjab to hate and big politicos/political parties wont have influence everywhere...the administrative units shosha is easy but things might get worse after..in Punjab relatively peaceful and prosperous...Saraikistan, Potohar and central provinces are easy or even add bahawalpur which was a promise...however afterwards what happens as factions and interests fight each other...in KP peaceful Hazara and tribal provinces are necessary...Hazara could be joined to potohar given similarities between Hindko and Punjabi etc...anyway something has tobe done about Qabailistan...In Baluchistan north(or south) Pakhtunwa and probably coastal Makran and Baluchi provinces...Sindh is a problem as Urdu province raises hackles and probably north and south Sindh...Sindh cant live without karachi which loots the entire country...In Rawalpindi they say that every day billions are transferred to karachi...So initially a constitutional amendment could do that but later provincial wars and ethnic/political fight outs for control are inevitable...It would be better for such units tobe created under Province control...all divisions could be elevated to semi provinces...The army already fighting in two provinces ..would it be needed in more provinces...!one must realize that linguistics is not the only problem...most Pakistanis understand Urdu and even English...doing is one thing...twisting PTI and PPP arms... but sustaining is quite another...or arm the army with missile drones and let them use them to control terrorism...The president could approve direct missile attacks as Obama used to do in Dalbandin drone attacks...
a permanent mechanism for the national assembly to look into specific provincial problems and if necessary shifting such provinces to federal control temporarily or again dividing them into further provinces could act as a barrier to trouble and troublemakers...or just the deterrent amendment to trouble as the 28th amendment...This amendment could work in parallel to the present arrangement when a province itself wants to divide and just needs national assembly approval...the deterrent mechanism could just as an example need a simple national assembly majority...the amendment could also change the present arrangement of 2/3 majority to a simple majority
a possible solution could be to elevate minister for provincial coordination to a Provincial Czar who could help ease provincial problems between ethnic groups and relieve them of financial distress...!
Another suggestion that initially just move Fata, Gawader and Karachi to federal control...and Sindh could be left twiddling its thumbs...or Sindh still gets all NFC funds...!
