Aug31-2023--The SC is still trying to be a duped dove sitting with its eyes closed with a wild cat sitting nearby...,they say elections should be held in 90 days despite those elections having not been held and the SC could not do anything about them...the national elections are about tobe delayed again and the SC will not be able to do anything about them too..90 they say can be interpreted as 200 or any other number of days...nothing is written in stone any longer...
Aug31-2023--The caretaker regime also says that it will try to fool the people on the matter of electricity bills...saying it cannot do much to end subsidies in PIA and power companies apart from free electricity to other non essential people as the army chief, judges etc....they also say that the only relief they see is payment in installments which is already available...they also say that they will continue to hike tariffs despite the massive hikes by the previous regimes...thus the only way available to people is burn bills or not pay bills in future especially if they cannot...if the people want they should make the september2 shutdown memorable and refuse to pay bills in future...some relief they say is envisaged for those using 400 units...the protestors are not low end users but those whose bills are above 50000...the government should shift the burden from the people to the richer segments of army, agriculture, industrialists,textile mills, exporters etc...small bussinessmen are already protesting...the government should realize that only essential imports are necessary...
Aug29-2023--The inexperienced caretaker regime which has a stocks and bonds man as power minister trying to deal/tinker with the power tariffs/power protests/inflation...rumours abound that overall electricity unit cost is Rs.2 a unit however despite supposed good intentions the caretakers are not willing to take drastic measures frightened of the IMF and finance ministry...tariffs should be dropped to Rs15 as before the disastrous imran-shebaz experiment in dubious IMF type government...imran had reduced slabs from three to one thus increasing the costs drastically to the lower to medium income groups...from Rs.24 in the imran era... shebaz the rich devil may care evil ruler increased tariffs to Rs50...giving enormous benefits to IPP's of Rs4.60 per unit..The caretaker regime should de list power stations that lie idle all year and take 60% non use capacity benefits...The policies of the 1990's should be done away with...or power costs should be reduced to 2 cents as than envisaged...caretakers envisage some relief such as a one slab benefit, reduction in 18% tax and payment via installments which already exist...bills can already be paid in two or three installments...stopping free units to power companies employees/retired employees are not implementable just as PIA /railway subsidies to the military/students and pia/retired employees cannot be stopped...protestors taking protests to Discos and blocking motorways which show no respect for humanity, bakra mandi grid station surrounded...people would love it if the army chief pays his own electricity and food bills...just stopping free petrol to officials and judges and military officers would also save a lot...it would also be beneficial to lets say provide free solar panels or free installation of solar systems to homes...There is no real need for a quarterly increase of Rs5 per unit or even a monthly increase in fuel costs(FCA) or the petroleum levy...with dams full hydel generation should be maximised...

Aug27-2023--with the peoples anger rising Discos are facing open threats against their vehicles and buildings...Iesco, Mepco have asked for police protection while Pesco has removed its official number plates...Discos should work on a people orientation rather than work for dubious governments, Nepra and IMF..Nepra has not even once rejected a tariff hike...while tariffs have been hiked massively the almost continuous monthly hikes and daily load shedding's are becoming almost unbearable...almost everything including losses/operations/fuel/maintenance/theft are included in the tariff still the government insists on increasing tariffs every month...the government should move to use all types of power stations barring diesel/LNG and stop the 60% non use payments to IPP's..it might have been needed initially but it is now just meaningless...government should instead ask them to move to natural gas or discontinue functioning...
Aug27-2023--ECP maybe running into trouble after some parties support a new delimitation while the PPP and PTI want elections in 90 days...The PMLn wants delimitations and electoral lists completed by early december so that elections can take place in February or March...historically delimitations and electoral lists completeion have taken much longer and recently the exersize was completed in 2022.

Aug27-2023--as power protests erupted in many cities over higher electricity bills the caretaker government and discos are taking the people to be stupid and foolish...with no political party in power people have started protesting and burning bills..the discos and caretaker government think that people will take things lying down...however the caretaker governments continuation of IMF policies which sees the dollar slide and despite massive increase in electricity bills again invoking additional fuel charges for august and september alongwith increase in sugar and atta prices...the bills are stoking anger in the middle income group of people..after such massive electricity tariff increases the government should at least not have increased electricity tariff costs for at least a year...The caretaker government plans to stop power subsidies which are even given to retired electricity officials and retiring primeministers and presidents and retired and serving SC judges..the army chief also given free electricity and obviously those working in the electricity infrastructure are free to loot and plunder...

Aug19-2023--Shah mahmood qureshi, imran khan and asad umar being investigated in cipher leak...while imran was leaking the cipher via speeches ...shah mahmood qureshi was apparently editing it every day...the present issue that the secret cipher was leaked to Intercept a US news site...intercept said that the pakistani military leaked it however the information here is that imran sent it to trump who leaked it to the press to help him out...others suggest that some lower PTI leaders might have done it...earlier the cipher was about a page but is now four pages in length...it seems to suggest that the US supported verbally the no trust although others suggest the US concern was the dancing imran waltzing upto Putin on tv and urging him to attack ukraine...!shah mahmood and asad umar have been arrested and is leading to more arrests as shah mahmood seems to have fingered some more culprits...a clandestine meeting was held at banigala on Mar28 where they decided to use the cipher to bolster their fading support...the military has said that they heard of the cipher on Mar12..when imran said that it was probably nothing...!

Aug18-2023-- in what may seem tobe a deliberate exersize to delay polls the ECP announces a new delimitation process to be completed in early december...after which a synchronisation of electoral rolls to the new census which might be carried out simultaneously...this leaves the poll date somewhere in February or March...while this has been rumoured by the outgoing government there was some hope of the ECP disregarding the new census since it was not a complete census and just a digital census...the PTI they say is incensed and to move the SC today...there seems no constitutional way out apart from the SC suspending the announcement of the new census saying there were suspected irregularities and holding the elections on the status quo situation....new voters could be facilitated by just the presentation of their id cards...
