Jan31-2023--The PTI is so finicky and impatient that it has filed a case in the LHC to force the governor to announce an election date...while the governor has not refused a date he many think can delay for a month as elections can be arranged in two months... as soon as elections are announced the caretakers cannot change/transfer/appoint anyone in the provincial beaurocracy...the court should ask the PTi if they had met the governor on the matter...?The caretaker CM has appointed popular cricketer Wahab Riaz as Sports minister ostensibly to help them deal with the hatred prone problem mongering Imran...many think that the government maybe delaying an announcement to see if the center is going to announce an emergency to delay all the elections given the situation...on the other hand imran announces that he will be the sole defender of the PTI's spurious politicking and will stand on all 33 or 86 seats in NA by elections in March...he already has won on seven seats and has to announce by Saturday which seat he will retain...many think that imran is making a mockery of democracy and the government should amend the Political Parties Act so that a person may stand on just one seat only...otherwise imran could stand on all the seats in the NA election...!

Jan26-2023--Pakistans economic situation is already precarious with high dollar rates, high inflation and high energy and atta prices...The dollar is flirting with Rs250...atta over a hundred per kilo and electricity prices at Rs34...government now planning further hikes that will again be blamed on the IMF...governments experiment with higher dollar rates, higher petrol prices and skyrocketing atta and chicken prices have not been very successful in whatever they want to achieve...exports are falling alongwith remmittances after the post covid surges...the government maybe in the process of upping taxes to achieve Rs300 billion which they say will pay for some of the energy sector circular debt of over a trillion...upto now government measures by this and previous governments have not solved anything...load sheddings and major outages continue as Pakistans fuel woes based on imports continues...Pakistan to start importing russian oil in March...an inability to control imports also compounds the issue...imports have in the past have been as high $80 billion...inflation since the PDM takeover has been very high...
Jan26-2023--ECP has given possible dates for KP and Punjab elections in the middle of April... Punjab between April 9 and April 13 and KP between April 15 and April 17...Punjab assembly dissolved on January 14 and KP on January18...election dates probably tobe finalized by CM and governor or the PM...The PTI is of the opinion that the government may postpone elections so that they may be held together with national elections but that maybe unconstitutional unless a financial emergency is declared...an emergency military/martial law/financial/force majeur or otherwise can give the government the power to postpone elections especially if the PTI goes for political unrest as is its norm...a default plus PTI orchestrated riots could achieve that many surmise
Jan26-2023--Fawad Chaudhry the PTI loudmouth who is used to making strange/nasty statements arrested by Lahore CTD and handed over to islamabad police in response to a ECP FIR which stated that he had been threatening and ridiculing them causing a wave of terror against them and even their families...The PTI has for the last few days been issuing ridiculous threats of article 6 action for something that has not happened...earlier Fawad chaudhry had been accused of being nasty to the ECP when Imran started his campaign against the ECP..at that time Fawad and the equally nasty Azam Swati had apologized for saying that the ECP took bribes to rig elections.....while he was an mna from the small city of Jhelum he is not regarded as much of a national leader...in a mistaken notion he wants the entire nation to protest for mistaken policies of the PTI...The PTI has a problem with any sort of authority and wants the army and ECP to follow their orders...the dupe imran wants the courts to defend the PTI's fundamental rights...i dont think that a political party has any fundamental rights which deal with the rights of citizens...Fawad Chaudry is used to issue threats to families and attack and gherao the houses of political workers...this is the outcome of the ECP picking one from the names sent to them for punjab caretaker CM...

Jan23-2023--a major electricity fault shut all pakistans power system at 7 :34 in the morning...it is now 2000hours and the system is still down..one of the biggest shutdowns when two power lines tripped on frequency faults and the entire pakistans power system shutdown in cascade...Pakistan has major shutdowns thru out the last decade but they usually bounce back quickly...this time it seems that the system is not able to get up and running...many are questioning the efficacy of Shebaz Sharif and looking to him to fire at the least the power minister who is very quick to raise tariffs but is unable to handle such problems...only at around 2000 hours did they say that restoration of the power system was underway...Uch in Balochistan and thar coal power stations were the first to be restored...

Jan16-2023--One may suggest in the jovial era that we are in that all the recent elections have been in areas of either PTI or others...The poor performance of the PMLn in karachi LG polls and the last dissident(pti) by polls-in July can be forgotten...The PMLn government performance is also regarded as dubious with ups only in prices and tariffs...they need somebody in there who is not a misbah many say...reasons for remittance drops can be the high rates... that the required rupees can be achieved by fewer dollars and higher inflation in the west that contributes to lesser exports too...Rana Sanaullah the Punjab PMLn president might be replaced with a more affable or popular leader to assist Mariyam Nawaz...however all main PMLn leaders will be available to participate in polls...the strategy seems tobe to attack imran and his facilitators of the establishment... a former army chief and two or three ex spy chiefs and a former judiciary-CJ--u should see the drooping faces of imrans military supporters on whatsapp......The PMLn has to create some love, warmth and closeness for the people...one would suggest that imran be allowed to fight his demons and the PMLn wade in and get their vote out...might be they should suggest that imran is the establishment and only the Pti gets late night phone calls...The new army chief is mild mannered and will let things happen normally...the Pti might be looking strong on paper and the PMLn will have to dig deep..if they can get him off the hook Nawaz Sharif might return before the national polls but many think he should consider returning as a brave man ready to suffer the consequences even if that means going to jail...that may be the spark that the PMLn needs although the votes are here and they just have to get them to the booths as they have done before...
Jan 16-2023--PPP leading in more areas in karachi while they are closely followed by the JI and in third spot the Pti..possibility of a coalition for karachi mayor..JI protesting procedural matters and governmental interference...Mqm vote probably went to the JI...or u can say split between PPPP and JI...PTI did not improve its position much given its haggling infighting negative attitude...around 49 candidates died before the polls...PMLn did badly but they might have a devised a system to beat the PTI in Punjab
