Aug2-2009--government inits continued misgovernance now wants nepra jurisdiction enforced forcibly...teh government has been continuously making bad decisions in this regard and Nepra is merely a front for the meanness or nastiness of the PPP regime...towards something that directly effects everybody...the government has yet to reduce electricity prices and is always willing to go along with price hikes...the government should also ensure that people like Tareen, teh iMF and teh finance ministry dont start hiking prices just on their personal whims...no where in teh world are electricity prices handled in such a shoddy, haphazard and inconsistent manner...the government wants price hikes even when the main ingredient in electricity...petroleum product prices are not rising...the government also seems unable to factor in high hydel generation which should effect prices somewhat...ten years ago wapda was making well over Rs200 billion and now should be making well over half a trillion with much higher prices and it is totally incredulous to suggest that prices have tobe hiked for any reason...
