Aug2-2009--the SC decision is causing total mayhem in the provincial high courts...all five judges of teh BHC to face the SJC under teh decision as SHC CJ is changed to Sarmad Jalal Osmany and Zaheer Jamali is elevated to teh SC...SHC strength drops from 36 to 14..LHC loses over 40 judges as many PCO judges also opt not to work until teh SJC decides...

Aug2-2009--anti christian violence continues in Gojra, toba tek singh as seven are burnt alive after an enraged mob sets fire to over 50 houses..cause is alleged quran desecration...government slow to take action as police fails to control things...apparently rangers have been despatched by teh federal government

Aug2-2009--government inits continued misgovernance now wants nepra jurisdiction enforced forcibly...teh government has been continuously making bad decisions in this regard and Nepra is merely a front for the meanness or nastiness of the PPP regime...towards something that directly effects everybody...the government has yet to reduce electricity prices and is always willing to go along with price hikes...the government should also ensure that people like Tareen, teh iMF and teh finance ministry dont start hiking prices just on their personal whims...no where in teh world are electricity prices handled in such a shoddy, haphazard and inconsistent manner...the government wants price hikes even when the main ingredient in electricity...petroleum product prices are not rising...the government also seems unable to factor in high hydel generation which should effect prices somewhat...ten years ago wapda was making well over Rs200 billion and now should be making well over half a trillion with much higher prices and it is totally incredulous to suggest that prices have tobe hiked for any reason...

Jun17-2009--In the god forsaken rawalpindi where everything this year has disappeared...eaten by the corrupt they say..the dawn claims that this year for teh first time in twenty years they have dredged teh nullah Lai and removed encroachements..obviously a joke as they have been widening, dredging,deepening, cleaning the Lai every other year since benazirs first term...just weeks ago they said that a 700 million program to clean teh Lai had begun...now they say teh work has been completed at teh cost of 92 million...others say tanvir kaira is sitting at the Lai getting contractors to file fake bills for their work...?basically all they had to do this year was clean teh filth and plastic bags...u just cant dredge and widen and deepen a stream in weeks...what must we conclude ...dawn is hand in glove with contractors and commissioner and kaira and JICA in what is commonly called...kha rahe ho shabaz...?dredging a 13 kilometer stream in weeks...?

• Jun8-2009--Military spokesman says all indian defence spending pakistan specific as they can hardly fight china and its small neighbours sri lanka, nepal, burma and bangladesh are too small to even figure in defence matters...he said that pakistan militaris huge budget Rs318 billion almost equaled development spending last year but has ended up 15-20% higher than the federal development program in which the government says it allocated only 189 billion of the 373 billion upto May...even that development is invisible as the government did little but fight terrorism... The armed forces budget is very inflexible and there is no interchange in resource allocations between priorites old or emerging...military should many suggest reallocate operational resources to emerging realities rather than remain rigid...for example if a bullet or missile or soldier or tank or petrol is needed more in malakand and swat than obviously it can be shifted from one ordnance depot/base to another...
